Today is International Derpy Day which meant that I just had to post this. 

If there's anything I've learned on the forums it's that enough hugs boops and snuggles will make anyone happy  

Looks like my second PS3 has died. How much should I pay to replace it?

It's really sad to see all the fandom videos on YouTube that are deemed "For Kids" and now have comments disabled.

In other news, I'm really disappointed the minor character development with Apple Bloom becoming well-versed in potion-making didn't really go anywhere in the series, I was really looking forward to that.

Gotta give the majority of my consoles a good cleaning, but lack some of the tools. Should really do a big purchase of them some time over the next few months.

Well, it looks like we'll be getting some rain this week.

Hopefully it'll be enough to douse these bush-fires that are raging in New South Wales and in Victoria. Honestly, this has to be THE worst bush-fire season we've EVER had. We've lost almost 2000 homes here in New South Wales and we have a water shortage. OVER 4 billion animals have perished in these bush-fires and the koala is now an endangered species: 

We've been suffocating thanks to the smoke haze and there's A LOT of fuel to burn. I was surprised we didnt get ANY rain last winter and I knew it was gonna be bad, but I didn't think it was gonna be THIS bad. My heart goes out to all the Australians who have suffered in these bush-fires. We'll get through this... 

It's REALLY hot here in Australia. The temperature has gone well up to 40 degrees celcius in some parts of the country. We could REALLY use some rain...

EDIT: We've just got news that it is hailing in Victoria. Those dark clouds will make their way to New South Wales in the next couple of hours. This happens EVERY year. Yeah, these are just as bad as our bush-fires, if not worse.

Two days ago where I live...

People posted photos of their homes being aaaaall filled with water. Sweet Celestia this is insane, I feel really sorry for them.  If I'd come to my home after work and see... oh I already know I don't want any of this. I cannot even imagine how terrible I'd feel. There was tons of water on my property too, but thankfully it wasn't disastrous.

Even years later, this still remains one of my favorite PMVs.

Have I been gone too long to be recognized in my own home? 

I don't even know what to say. I guess the best thing I can say is that I never stopped thinking about you all. This is still the place I feel the most myself, and still the place I consider the place I come from

Feels weird coming back here.. I won't be staying for very long, and I'm sure this post will get lost in a sea of other status updates and notifications, but, yeah, I'm not sure what to say... I guess, had it not been for all the drama leading up to my decision to leave the fandom. I might have at least still been on the forums more regularly. At this point though, I feel like I've already said everything... Might visit again next month for a little bit. See you later, everyone...

Hey, Swirls, now that I've pretty much left the forums and fandom, I was thinking about posting on the profiles of everyone I considered a close friend and I just wanted to say that I do regret how things have turned out with us... I do still hope that some day, you and I can be friends again without my personal issues affecting it, but, until that day comes, I just wanted to say thank you for putting up with me for so long and for being honest with me, especially towards the end...

I don't understand why someone would leave the fandom. It's like deciding to not like ice cream any more.
