Sure, but what would the point be? A live action Pony with humans wouldn't be Pony, it would be more Equestria Girls, and while most things that work well as animation COULD be done live action, but it just increases the production cost, for no real benefit. Its not like you even need to do that in order to have famous stars on screen - we have already had shatner, de lancie, lana and now sia (a lesson disney seem to know well; see gazelle in zootopia for example)
