Oh man... I had a really sad dream last night...
-
This is just my opinion, but I think most arguments for mandatory death penalty laws are nothing more than pathetic appeals to emotion.
-
I'm gonna go into a little mini rant right now, because I need to get this off of chest. Asian Giant Hornets are NOT called "murder hornets!" Seriously, what kind of name is that? They're Asian Giant Hornets!
-
I swear I'm so god damned annoyed right now...
-
My little brother got my mom a 4K Smart TV for Mother's Day.

I'll be honest I don't think that just because the government says that the church and the state are separate that doesn't mean that they're separate.
-
I want to write my MLP fanfic, but I'm just REALLY worried it'll be WAY too dark and farfetched.

I don't think Christians should be regarded as citizens, nor should they be considered patriotic. This is one nation under the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
(P.S. Please do not take this seriously. This is satire.)

@CypherHoof True story.

I honestly hate it when some pro-life people call me "pro-abortion." No. I am not "pro-abortion," I am pro-choice! If I was "pro-abortion," then I would think that any woman who gets pregnant should get an abortion, which I don't! I just think abortion should be an option!

If you’re part of the human race/species, you’re human. Plenty of humans have severe cognitive disabilities, but they’re still human. And heck, that usually just results in them not being able to communicate their thoughts/feelings. We can’t see inside their heads and say, “Yup. There’s a human thought right there.”
They are neurodivergent, but that doesn’t take away the humanity.
But when referring to the baseline human, the generalized whole of the race/species, with no outstanding deviations, yes the depth of thought, reasoning, and exploration of artistic and philosophical concepts are the core of what sets humanity apart.
So more directly, it’s a combination I believe. Don’t forget a sprinkling of emotions as well.

Nah, just a debate. Neither me nor @Bas got rude or mad, so it’s all good.

I don't think I ever said this before, but a couple of months back, I took a quiz to guess which state I'm from. It guessed New Jersey.
-
I don't know if you knew this already, but there's a Whataburger in my town, and it's pretty dang good.
-
Man, I'm hungry... I could really go for some Burger King or Little Caesars...
-
@EpicEnergy I like anywhere that has burgers, honestly, because they're just freaking good IMO.
-
@AveryGamerDude I love burgers too, they taste so good!

I hope this isn't too controversial, but I think human rights are a philosophy, and I don't think that just because the UN or whatever says something is a human right, that doesn't make it an "objective" human right. Sure, it makes it a LAW, but I don't think it necessarily makes it a human right.

Why does this sound like a weaselly justification for torture and physical violence at the hands of states? I'm not sure about you, but I certainly appreciate having the rights I DO have.
Would you want to live in Nazi Germany? I wouldn't either. I'd get thrown into a concentration camp and that's assuming the best. A homosexual that would also be called a "Jew" due to lacking Aryan attributes could be a death camp candidate.
