But from what I understand, you made him your friend after the final episode of season 4. If you didn't, then you wouldn't have gotten your key and defeated Tirek. Plus Discord said it was all a gag to fool Tirek because Discord knew that if betrayed his own BROTHER, then there was no way Tirek was just going to trust Discord that easily.
