  1. ( Please don't take the following seriously.
It IS factual, but it's also meant to be silly. :derp: )

As some of you may or may not know, I recently got a rather large dresser recently. Getting it has opened up some organization possibilities in my bedroom/computer room.
I managed to organize 90% of everything I own within two days (give or take) of purchasing the dresser and putting it in my room. I've found other little things to organize here and there as the days went on; but nothing too big.

However, as I get close to cleaning that last 10% of my room, I found a hidden treasure I had long since forgotten about.
My crowd, let me introduce you to the first ever CD holder I ever owned...

(Forgive the years of wear, some things just can't be cleaned off)

In the late 90's, while I was still a kid in school, there was another one of those school-held fund raiser events. You know the ones; you sell chocolates to the neighborhood, raise money for the school, and you get a prize depending on how much you earn.

Well, I didn't want the cheap prize, I wanted something SLIGHTLY better. A mid-tier prize. This plastic, 8-Disc CD holder (10 if you include the spaces between the disk holder flaps). It has no straps or anything that make it easier to carry. The lid opens way too easily. It's just a solid plastic piece, but I didn't know that when I saw it in the catalog. It took some effort, but I raised enough money to get it.

Oh, and that plastic square notch one the side? I use to have this little, plastic mirror thing with nothing to mount it to. It fit perfectly on the CD holder, but naturally it broke off since the mirror was attached to a flimsy little plastic rod. So only the base remains on it.

ANY-WHO! Times sure have changed from the 90's. I've changed as a person as well.
Things have gone digital. I can store way more music in one little thumb drive than this brick of plastic could ever store. I still purchase physical copies of music and movies, but even when I do, I tend to keep them in their original case. It's safer than these generic CD holders that could scratch up your discs. Even if I needed a CD holder, I could easily find one better than this; one that holds way more discs.

Long story short, I've outgrown this thing. I no longer need it, the world no longer needs it, and it no longer has a use.
So farewell old CD holder. Even though I'm throwing you away, you'll always be a part of my memories.

    Spoiler

Long story short, I actually just took these photos for the memory. And I am sharing this because I have no other status updates planned for today. :derp:

When I was in the last year of elementary school, I finally managed to make one friend, a guy I'd end up calling my best friend since we connected so well. Turns out, he first lived in Alaska. His family eventually moved down across America, mostly living in places like California for a while. Then, when it came time for his final year of elementary school, his family settled in my hometown. I enjoyed hearing his stories about moving around. Most people didn't believe him when he said that he was originally from Alaska. He had military aspirations, but after that final year of high school, I never saw him again. So I have no idea if he actually made it or not.

How long have you lived in the same house?

      Why the film on keyboard?

      @Muffinnz

Not too long. This is my current house, since 2018 I believe.
And the film is there to keep the keyboard clean. I'm a relatively clean person, but you never know when your hands might be dirty. The film really helps! :D No dirt or anything ever gets between the keys, and every time I replace the film, the keyboard still smells as fresh as the day I bought it.
