All right. Since only one person asked, I'll share photos of my mother's kitchen after the renovations!
Sorry for the bad quality.
I decided to try out the camera on my cheap android phone. Next time, I'll know better and use my digital camera. Here you can see the most renovations done.
- White shelves with metal brackets. I painted them black myself, but my uncle placed and mounted them.
- Leaf wall paper, cut and placed by my other uncle.
- New microwave, smaller and quieter than the last, but just as powerful.
- A piece of wood is being used as a leg to prop up the counter top since it was sagging and no longer level.
And here, you can hopefully make out the color differences on the walls.
- Base boards, trim, cabinet doors, and the window are painted in an antique white (a very sheer shade of white); glossy finish.
- The normal walls are painted a country white (white with a faint hint of yellow/beige. Really good for older houses, shows less dirt or build up), satin finish.
- And there is a faux-tile area on some of the walls, those were painted chardonnay white (white with a hint of yellowish green. The wallpaper makes the green pop), satin finish.
- Finally, my uncle also installed the two shelves above the stove.
The doors have all been painted antique white as well. Sadly, the door leading to the dining room is the only one with a silver handle. The rest have gold. Might want to either replace or spray-paint it one day...
A closer look at the cabinets. The handles use to be this old, dingy silver and the finish was wearing away. Sprayed them all shiny gold.
Here, you can see a closer look at the faux tin back splash. The material matches the metal sink, but the pattern matches the floor.
I installed cordless blinds. They are a beige color. They match the color of the counter top, but most of the time with the light shining through, it just blends in with the window.
And also, since it's normally hidden, I decided to show off the window handle since I painted that shiny gold too.And this final part is the hardest to make out. There really wasn't a good time to shoot this. My mother was missing a glass dome for the light fixture in the center of the ceiling (the old one broke). With my help, we found one that matches the one over the window. It wasn't a perfect fit, so we had to get some extra long set-screws to make sure it would stay in place.
There is WAY more tiny details I didn't mention, but a lot went into this renovation.
Any questions, my crowd?

@Stone Cold Steve Tuna Oooh... You want to move back in?
Probably should have told me during the renovation process. I rented that space out to the Potsnpans family. Sorry, bud. They MIGHT be willing to share, but it'd be REALLY cramped... They have kids, you see.
@Tacodidra Yay for cameos in every picture!
...Err, I mean, snake? What snake? I don't see no snake~
@EpicEnergy Thank you! And so do you. All of my friends are tasty snacks.
... Hmm... I might need to work on my compliments.
