Hello again my lovely lads and lasses <3  its been a few days since I've made it back here  but I"m not going to let that keep me from coming back!  the new version of me isn't about letting the self inflicted pressures and anxieties  of not being around for a bit keep me away   If you said anything to me these past two days and I've missed it, I wanna apologize for that  hopefully I'm able to weed through the notifications and see exactly what was said where! 

Yesterday was something else!  From the time I clocked in, to the time I left in the evening, I didn't stop running or making something happen for the kids' end of the year party! I ended up not being able to say goodbye to my favorite teacher I work in conjunction with one of our schools  but I"m sure it'll be a great time catching up with her in the fall!  (I'm loosing track of my story, need to stay on track! ) 

So the little colts and fillies had their party. We took all our members down to the main building on the east end of town so that the children could celebrate in the same place. We served those little circular school pizzas and doritos, as well as chocolate ice cream and grandmas brand cookies! (absolutely PACKED those little tikes with sugar then sent them  home - a gift from us to you ) 

We set up our portable PA system in the gym and had a little dance party for them all, although as anyone who works with kids knows, a dance for predominately grade and middle schoolers as actually them just chasing each other with a soundtrack  

Yours truly was on DJ duty  it was super simple, I just used my amazon music app to play a clean pop station- its not like I keep up with whats popular on the radio!

ended up playing old town road three times in a row, and a clean version of congratulations from pewdiepie  I never said I was above playing the M E M E S  



then today happened 

exactly the opposite of yesterday- nothing but hard cleaning and prep work for the summer fast approaching 
everything in that building was flipped on its head today! we scrubbed, mopped. organized, swept and even did some renovating  I handled several of the larger tasks, including but not limited to completely cleaning out and arranging the garage into a game room for the kids (LOTS of donations had piled up back there, needless to say, it was its own venture in itself ) and scrubbing this huge old mural made with removable paint off the wall.

the chemicals were so strong, yours truly was stammering on all four hooves on the way home- I didn't even get to finish!!  

but finally I made it home, took a well deserved shower (DIVINE ) and passed out for two hours instead of the intended one hour nap  oh well, I feel better now!  


I"m sorry I haven't been around my loves, but it really has been a jam packed couple of days! 


*collapses on a feather bed with a cold drink and a couple of tyenol- stretching out*
