  1. Because his family depends on the money he gets from cracking corn. If Jimmy doesn't crack corn, he loses his job, and he and his family will soon be out in the street. This being winter, they'll surely freeze to death out there. ...Too harsh?
  2. Gets cats, ponies, R34, something about moths, and a large assortment of memes, new and old. Inserts memes.
  3. 7.3/10. Pretty nice, I guess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knik6QqDJJ0 Some good ol' Gimmick! The song loops at about 1:13, so if you don't particularly like the track or just want to keep from getting ninja'd, you'll know where to stop.
  4. Gonna cut you down to size with a bannedsaw.
  5. I'm not sure. It might be a reference, but it might not. I'm gonna say no, you're not the only one. Am I the only one who listens to chiptunes a lot? Like, to where it's near compulsory? (Maybe "compulsory isn't the right word, but you get what I mean, right?)
  6. Only played the one game they released for 3DS Ambassador Program, it was a GBA game, and that was only once. I want to say no, but I don't think playing it once a year ago+ is fair judgement, so I'll just say I'm neutral towards it. TPAM likes ponies in socks.
  7. This was basically me until probably 2011 or 2012. It's snowed at least once ever since, usually after Christmas.
  8. I play the euphonium and baritone. (If you want to put past the semantics, they're basically the same, but I know there are purists, so I counted them as two different instruments.) That's pretty much it, unless you count what I write chiptune-wise, and if so: NES/Famicom, Game Boy, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, AY 3-8910/YM2149, ZX Spectrum beeper, and SNES/Super Famicom. That should cover that, though I want to expand on that list some time in the future.
  9. I've heard of snow all around my area, but nothing here. At all. In fact, it was (apparently) supposed to snow today, but we saw not even a flake. ...That's usually for the better, though, because it's either not enough snow to stick or just enough that the power gets knocked out.
  10. At the current moment, no, but if I were, it'd be a PFUDOR. TPAM knows what a PFUDOR is.
  11. Get a flying copy of Chronicles of Narnia on DVD. Inserts Donkey Kong.
  12. That is, until somebody hit the pause button.
  13. 7.7/10. Not the best thing in the world, but I would be lying if I said the melody isn't the least bit catchy. A mashup of Mining Melancholy and Forest Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2. (You should check out NyxtheShield's stuff, btw. It's, IMO, some really good stuff.)
  14. Banned because Sonic Colors was a good game.
  15. 7.8/10. Nice to listen to some Billy Joel every once in a while. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5YoFv09uQ Some SNES ambiance by the great Dean Evans.
  16. Both. I just listen to whatever sounds good, regardless of genre. Same question.
  17. Gets Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw. Inserts chainsaws.
  18. >be me >check MLPForums >sees Banned Game post updated >sees Sharlina Silverpaw's post >redtext >banned for not using greentext
  19. Welcome to the forums! I'm not very good at words sometimes, but I'll try to explain as best as I can... I've felt very depressed within the last year or so as a result of a number of factors (some of them being ones you said, like lack of friends and my own introversion.) I think the fandom has helped me out a lot too, and it makes sense if you think about it; Friendship is Magic is all about how to make friends, and how to be kind, which is reflected in the fans of the show. All of them? No, but mean people are everywhere, regardless of where you are, this fandom being no exception. But, I think we have the most abundance of caring people. How many other fandoms do you know that have a large groups that help charity organizations like Bronies for Good does? It may just be me, but I can't count a single one. I've seen (at the very least) a good 5-6 posts in these forums along the lines of "Complement the User Above You!" or "Rate How Much You Like the User Above You!" If that doesn't say something, I dunno what does. Long story short, you've come to the right place. BIG misconception I see with those who have attempted or talked about committing suicide is that they say they're "too wimpy" to go through with it. This is wrong. Dead wrong. The only thing this proves is how strong you are. Being able to deny yourself of this action is an act of strength, not cowardice. You don't see it yet, but you have a fulfilling life ahead of you. Cutting it off now would be no good. You're a living being. You'll go through some hardships, some "unconquerable" mountains, times that seem too dire to come back from, but no matter what, you have to strive on. We're a giant, loving community here at the MLPForums (and anyone else who says otherwise is wrong) and we're here to welcome you with open arms. I'm personally kinda still new to the forums (I've been on for about two months-ish), so I don't know every nook and cranny of this place, but if I recall correctly, there are places to vent and to seek help (and while I'd recommend seeking help from a professional, I know that costs and the stigma can be a little overwhelming.) Again, hope your welcome to the forums is warm, that you find the help you need and many good friends, and that your stay on the forums is a pleasant one. Have a nice day!
