      But other movies have. Look at Rainbow Rocks for example. Twilight, Sunset, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Rarity and AJ all had character development. And the three new villains had their own personalities and roles. Even Vinyl Scratch, having only a cameo and no dialogue, had a more significant role in plot. They even had origins for the Dazzlings. The first movie was rushed as hell. There were even scenes where the animation was out of proportion and scale.
