  1. Wow... this episode has to be one of the highlights of Season 5! The songs, the redemption of Diamond Tiara as well as finally showing why she acted the way she did, and the CMC finally getting their cutie marks. No longer will the Cutie Mark Crusaders be crusading to find their cutie marks, they've achieved that. Their marks appeared when they realized their true purpose; to help other ponies find their purpose and get/ better understand their cutie marks. And what a touching finale when the older sisters congratulated the CMC. 11/10 Fantastic episode!

  3. "Daughter of Discord", huh? Does that make her "next of kin to chaos"?

  4. People tend to see all breezies as spoiled, conniving pests simply because a minority of them behaved this way... once. They don't stop to think that maybe there are other breezies that are more considerate and less likely to take advantage of a friend's kindness. Every race has good and bad examples, so why should anyone assume that all breezies are lazy users like the small group Fluttershy watched over, or every griffon is rude and intolerant like Gilda (before her S5 return and heel-face turn), or that all alicorns are Mary Sues just because there some examples that do fit in that category. These prejudices have no place in a community that prides itself in the "magic of friendship" which includes the lesson of not "judging a book by its cover". Just as every cloud has a silver lining, there is a good example for every bad one. There is always potential to build upon previous errors and misconceptions. With a little imagination, anything is possible. Imagine not a perfect god/goddess, but an individual with flaws but the willingness keep going, learn from his/her mistakes, and strive to succeed to the best of their abilities. It's not what's on the outside that matters. Be it a pony, dragon or anything inbetween, it's who they are not what they are that matters. An OC is an avatar, not a role-model.
  5. Nicely done, my friend! Another masterpiece to add to your collection of Lego MLP mocs!
  6. Overall, I thought this episode was really enjoyable! The comedy, the references, and especially the message at the end that felt more like a "thank you" to the fans and everyone who watches and enjoys MLP than an Aesop/moral. It was a nice change of pace to give the background ponies the spotlight and put the main characters in the back for once. The 100th episode was a crazy one but it's definitely one of my favorites. Here's to the next 100 episodes! {raises glass of chocolaterain milk}
  7. This has to be one of the most relatable episodes to date. The fear of making friends and putting yourself out there only to be humiliated and/or neglected is something that almost everyone has gone through at least once in their life. I know I have... but I eventually opened myself up and now I have quite a few close friends that are almost like a second family to me; two of which share many common interests with me. *cough* MLP *cough* But seriously, this episode was admirable because it took a brief scene from the first episode that did little more than establish Twilight's antisocial nature, and showed everyone the consequences that came as a result of her past mistakes and negligence (possible "Christmas Carol" shout out?). I liked the varying personalities between Moondancer, Minuette, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine and I hope to see them return in future episodes!
  8. 2 things: a Funko Apple Bloom and a Discord lanyard <-- c'mon who could resist that face?
  9. One thing I love about this show is that the writers aren't afraid to push the boundaries and get deep from time to time. This episode took that to a whole new level. What seemed to be a trivial issue (worrying about nightmares) proved to be a psychological and emotional conflict that added to Princess Luna's character arc; an arc that dates back to the series' premiere episodes. The metaphor of nightmares being the things that that give us stress and keep us from moving on (fear, regret, denial, etc) is really thought provoking. Another advantage this episode has is the high amounts of imagination that made an already dreamlike world even more surreal and otherworldly. Overall, I thought this was a great episode!
  10. Discord is hands down my favorite MLP character and he is definitely in my top 5 favorite characters in general! He reminds me of Genie from Aladdin but with Q's behavior and mannerisms. And John de Lancie truly makes Discord come alive with the energy and heart he puts into his recordings. You can really tell he enjoys every second of it! I always look forward to seeing an episode with Discord in it, because I know it will be chaotic and enjoyable! "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men."- Roald Dahl
  11. Sunset's character arc. "My Past is Not Today" did a great job of summing it up.
