    Color theory. Purple is the color that represents knowledge and wisdom and twilight as we all know is really into learning new things, knowledge, and reading stories so it has to do with twilights character traits and the designers were probably trying to visually portay who twlight is.

    I know I've been working on this for like who knows how long now but I'm almost done plus the only colored pencils I had were these little kids crayola ones from like years ago and they are crap to work with for art and the wax had trouble adhering to the paper the way I wanted it to. What do you guys think so far? Any changes you would make or things I could do better and stuff like that would be very appreciated and helpful?

    Learned how to draw anything in 5 point perspective finally. Hooray for cheat codes . Now I can draw pinkie pie full in a full body picture with their face warped behind a transparent balloon. It took like a month but I finally have the skills to do it omg this is gonna be great. I gotta finish my Rainbow Dash Sonic RainBoom first though.

    How do I desaturate with colored pencils. I have been experimenting with different methods of adding color.

    It wasn't intention to make you upset you're really good with a pencil I just wish you would put more emotions into your artwork. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. "Forgiveness is an investment in happiness" -Twlight Sparkle. Since you don't think I'm good with using just a pencil here is a gyarados I drew a few years ago.

    No offense not trying to be mean but your "art" lacks originality and creativity. All you did was draw something you saw in an episode. Its not art it's just replication. You just copied what you saw. In my opinion art is about creating something new that hasn't been done before or taking something that already exists and doing something different with it to evoke some sort of emotion or provoke thought in the viewer. Your art is just the art the animators did but redone on paper there is no emotional expression or message in it just a copy of whats already been done. You should come up with something new. Its ok to take inspiration from somewhere but I don't see the point of copying something completely.

    Equestria Girls is the best spin off ever imo. Although I was slightly disappointed in friendship games the others more then make up for it. I stopped playing music after high school after playing music for 8 years. Then I jeard Rainbow Dash's solo in awesome as I wanna be and I decided to start playing guitar again again. Its so weird how much the mlp franchise has changed my life.

    Rainbow Dash no doubt. Pinkie is best pony but Rainbow Dash in the EG spin off is the coolest character ever.

    Photoshoped lightsabers in class today. These were originally toy lightsabers. To celebrate the force Awakens first pony to comment with a photo of yourself holding a toy lightsaber will get it turned into a real one tomorrow in photoshop and I will send you the photo of you with the photoshoped lightsaber in a star wars background if you want just tell me the background or I will leave it as is in your photo.

    I finally got off my lazy ass to complete my Rainbow Dash comic style art with a background Rainbow speed line thingy but Idk if I want to use the same colors for the Rainbow on both sides for symmetrical balance or complete the other side with the colors of the Rainbow following the ones I have done. Which dl you guys think would look better? And should I add anything after that?

    I've never seen such boring cutie marks. They are nearly identical too and cutie marks are supposed to be unique just like every pony and their talents.
