Started = I just started the picture. So my Illustrator program is still on the fritz right now, and I haven't done any drawing type things as of late, and I'm not really sure what to draw at the moment. Being new to this forum, I figured maybe I should ask for someone's OC to draw, as I love drawing OCs! (Canon is fine too, but I prefer OCs) This could also be a way for me to show off my drawing skills to you and maybe start contributing more. I'm only going to ask for 1 just for right now, as I don't know what my plans are for the next few days. Being busy going from place to place, I can only just do a sketch too, so there won't be any color. If anyone would want me to draw their OC, just give me a good reference (or good description) and I'll get started right away. If I am comfortable with this, and I do it fast, I might possibly take another couple and maybe even make this a request shop. I'll just have to see how it goes. So just to summarize; First come, first serve. I'm really liking 3 also. I think the gradient in the mane and tail look fantastic, and I think it's a much better look from the point of color!

There really is no point in me repeating what everyone else has already said, but it's good emphasis. Your OC does not have to be a pony. I would even suggest, if you want your OC to be noticed by more people, going with something that isn't a pony would make it much easier. I've even thought about making an antelope OC just to have something rarely seen!

BlueBrony is fantastic at laying out what you need for making an OC. Something I'd like to personally emphasize about what they said though is to give OCs weaknesses. This goes for making OCs of anything, not just ponies. The reason for most people thinking alicorn OCs to be OP and mary-sueish is because it's not uncommon to find an alicorn OC who has absolutely no weaknesses, and thus, cannot be defeated. After all, no one is perfect. I hope you didn't mind me elaborating on that BlueBrony.

If I may say, since you're looking for critique, I really find the talent of Morning Glory interesting. I haven't seen much like it and it's pretty creative. I feel as if her colors are a bit bland though. A collection of white and light grey doesn't feel very remember-able to me. I'd suggest maybe some colors you would find in the sky, since their talent is time based. I like their name though, I think it's clever and relates to the pony's talent very well. I can't really say much about Sprout without any story, but I really am fond of the color choice you used.

I was drawing for a while occasionally for as long as I can remember. Beginning of my 8th grade year, though, was when I really felt like improving my skills. Since then, I've noticed such a remarkable improvement in my skills, but I still am improving and that probably won't ever stop.

I've seen this happen to some people from time to time, but only recently had it happened to my OC Pristine. When I found another OC by the name of Pristine, I really didn't think much of it. I always like to think about everyone's OCs being in the same universe; if so many people have so many OCs, it's practically impossible to not have some with the same name. Of course it would make the world much more believable too. People in real life have the same name all the time! (I had an elementary class with 4 Jacobs) It may be a little disappointing at first when you find someone who has the same OC name, but it's never anything to raise torches over. It's just a thing that happens. I wish I would have became friends with that person, but I lost who they were a long while ago. That's just my opinions anyways.

Wow, I'm honestly overwhelmed. I was not expecting to get as many replies as I did. Being new and stuff, I'm not sure what the best way to respond to each post would be, so I'll just try to respond to everyone at once down here. I hope that isn't too much of a bother. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I was just simply surfing the web (again) and found myself extremely curious. Well I've been a part of this fandom for about 2 years, and I have no honest clue what I would be doing now if I had not known about all of this. I am a sophomore in high school and identify as a female. My interests include drawing, vector making, music playing, and the occasional game here and there. I love to make friends and I hope that I can use this forum pretty often as it seems very welcoming!
