I really like Pop Tarts and I remember having them a lot when i was younger but for some reason were discontinued in 2005 and could only be bought from import stores. Now I find out that they've been flagged as a Quarantine item due to the gelatin contained in the frosting which just upsets me. I'm surprised though that I found one online retailer that still claim to be selling them so either they have stock left over or are secretly importing them when they shouldn't be. At least I can still get Toast'ems that are imported easily though.

I've watched all the Lord of the Rings movies and very much enjoyed them. I haven't read the book of The Hobbit but I have listened to the BBC Radio dramatization they did several times years ago and thoroughly enjoyed that. As a side note I've also watched the animated movie hand always wanted them to make a proper movie of it. I'm very much looking forward to watching the movie with a friend and think it will be just as epic as the LOTR movies. Unfortunately because I'm in Australia I have to wait until the 26th of December to watch it but at least it's not like other movies where it's a whole month after releasing in America. I didn't know that it was decided to split the movie up from 2 to 3 as I haven't been keeping up with news about the film but I think it will only improve the quality of the film overall as they can now spend a lot longer detailing certain parts of the story. The thing that made LOTR so good was that it was very long. I admit it will be annoying to have to wait for the next part to come out but it sure will be worth it. As for HFR I don't know much about it but as I plan on seeing the movie in IMAX 3D I think there should be a noticeable difference if what is said about the increased FPS is to be believed. Eye strain will defiantly be something I will try and remember to take notice of it and ask my friend if it looks any different to him as he seems to be more susceptible to eye strain where as I am more used to it having spent many hours each day on my computer.

private Pony Mystery Theater: Exit Trixie, Stage Right.
Dave247 replied to Key Gear's topic in Advanced Roleplays
As Daylight sat alone and ate his pie, he watched Springer zoom up and down dinning car carrying various things for Trixie's show. "I wonder where he's getting all that stuff he's carrying from..." He thought. "Must of been from the baggage car. Why does this train even have a baggage car though? None of us brought any baggage on-board. Hmm..." Day then noticed Springer stop just as he entered the dinning car and looked around to see him energetically wave and call out to the cook who was followed by the pony that he saw talking with her earlier. He then quickly looked back as to not attract attention. He overheard that she was looking for Dusky. Who or what he was he had no idea but it was when springer tried and failed to speak softly that he became interested. He was apparently sent to find Dusky, and ended up empty handed. But it was how he talked which made him suspicious. He would have to make a note to follow this up at some point... Day then heard Key's voice speak to him and as he turned to look he was surprised with what he saw. It appeared that Key had actuality done what she said she went to do and "freshened up", which he was sure at the time was just a excuse for covering for something else. He watched her walk off into the parlor, perplexed at what her real intentions could be. He then saw the cook enter the palor shortly after and decided it was about time that he joined Key and Electro. He quickly gobbled down the last few bites of his pie and then got up and walked into the parlor. As he entered, he saw a makeshift stage set up in the middle of the parlor with Trixie standing on it. She was distracted staring off into space so he knew the show must not be ready to start yet. Looking around the room he saw Magicon sitting by himself, lost in his own thoughts. The mare who was dining with the cook also Springer who was running around doing last minute preparations. He then looked over to the last group of ponies he hadn't seen yet. It was Key, Electrobolt, and the cook who was sitting behind them for some reason. As he got closer, he could see the two young ponies looking rather uncomfortable, and the cook with a look of disappointment on her face. @Key Gear, @Ambrosia, @Electrobolt "Umm... is there something I should know about?" He asked the group, looking puzzled when he reached them. -

As he was talking to Magicon, he could noticed a suspicious smile form on his face. He had no idea what Magicon could be possibly thinking but something about what he was saying was pleasing him greatly. In his peripheral vision he could make out that Key was also harboring a similar simile. "Nice to meet you Magicon. I'll be sure to if I need anything." He said smiling, reaching out and shaking his hoof. Something about all this didn't sit right with him though. He doubted if Magicon was offering to help simply out of generosity. "Something seems to have pleased the both of them from what I said... I'll need to keep a close eye out on both their actions whenever either Trixie or the stolen item is brought up in the future." He was about to throw her another angry look but before he got the chance a voice from behind her spoke up. He lent over a little to look past Magicon and Key to see Springer standing there. He cringed. How long had he been standing there and how much had he heard? Regardless of that it was clear their cover was well and truly blown now. He sighed, so far Key was proving to be more of a nuisance then help which was exactly why he preferred working alone. He did have to admit it was nice to have company though... Springer then went on to announce to everypony that Trixie was going to preform in the parlor car. "This will be a good opportunity to see if she does anything questionable... though I doubt she would in front of everypony..." He thought. Electrobolt then spoke up suggesting that they head off to the show, which then made Key speak up. He raised an eyebrow as she walked off. She was acting very suspiciously and it was obvious that something was on her mind. He hoped whatever it was wouldn't put them in any more risk that they already were in. Magicon then mumbled something about leaving and then headed into the dining car followed by Electro. He then realized that he was now sitting at the table alone. Looking down at his plate, he saw that he still hadn't eaten his Berry Pie which had gone cold sitting there all this time. He sighed again and began to eat and took the time to have a clear moment to himself to think. "Something was awfully suspicious about what Springer said... I never said anything about the stolen item being a artifact. He obviously knows a lot more then he's letting on but why would he know about it in the first place?" Day shook his head. None of it made sense. He would have to talk to Springer later when he got a chance. "Then there's Key... she's obviously up to something so I'm just going to ask her if I get the chance or try and keep a close eye on her. I should be cautious of involving Magcon too much as well as I have no idea what his intentions are. Electrobolt seems to be the good type though and is the only one I can safely say that he doesn't have his own agenda. At least for the moment." -
He was glad to see Electro was enjoying his pie. He had eaten enough and didn't want to see it going to waste. He smiled. Even though he had not met these two ponies before it felt like they were more then just strangers to him. Alex them finished his pie and him and Electro got up to leave and waited for Day to join them. He then got up himself and walked over to where the two were standing. "I would be happy to join you Alex. Oh by the way, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Daylight." he said to the both of them smiling. He then heard a new voice speak to him. It was another pony who must of entered Sugercube after him. Day then walked over to where she was sitting and began to talk with her. "Hello Fermata. My name is Daylight and I'm a detective. I don't think I've met a pony who's special talent was singing before. He said smiling. There was something about her that gave him the same feeling he got with Alex and Electrobolt."Do you want to come with us? That way we can get to know each other better. That is... if it's OK with you though Alex." He said turning to look at him.

it's been said Hasbro are OK with the lower quality versions of the episodes that float around but instead go after having the 1080p one's removed from Youtube. There still appears to be a 720p version up but if anyone wants a link to watch or download the 1080p with 5.1 you can get it as well as previous episodes on this reddit page.http://www.reddit.co...line_streaming/

As he was eating, Day looked up to see Key take a swig of her drink, before unexpectedly shouting and then start coughing and wheezing. He became alarmed at what could of caused her to do that and immediately inspected her drink. Just by the smell of it he could tell it was something strong. He could sense the distinct smell of peepers coming from the glass, as well as other things that in his opinion should never have been mixed together like this. "it's no wonder she reacted the way she did..." He muttered as he put her drink back down. He was glad to see that Key was able to soothe her burning throat using Electro's drink, if only temporally as she started coughing again when she tried to eat. The whole ordeal reminded him that he had not touched his drink since he sat down. He tried some the apple cider that he had taken with him to the table. Although it was nice, it wasn't the comparable to the coffee that he had originally wanted. "Hopefully I can still get some later on..." He thought putting his drink back down. He then noticed the pony who had been sitting with Trixie and Springer walk up to their table. He wondered what a pony such as himself could with them. The red-colored colt went on to ask Key if she was alright apparently worried about the coughing fit she had gone though. While he was waiting for a reply, he studied him carefully. He could sense a there was an aurora of Mystery that seemed to be surrounding him. Just by the way he was dressed he could assume there was something different about this pony compared to regular pony folk that he met. Ponies always had a reason to wear any clothes, such as him needing pockets, so his cape was possibly there to hide something on his flank, which he assumed was his cutie mark. Key then started to respond to him. He was personally not sure to make of this pony considering he had been sitting with Trixie but it was Trixie who had sat with him, not the other way around so it meant that he didn't have any choice on the matter. He was slightly suspicious of his intentions, but did not want to falsely accuse him without any proof that he isn't just being caring so he continued to listen to what key had to say to him. When he saw Key glance quickly to him, he immediately got a bad feeling that she was going to do something that he would not approve of. He wondered what it could be, but didn't realize until it was too late and she had already started talking. "Oh no... We can't go trusting everypony on the train with our case. Especially one that could well be associated with Trixie!" he thought and buried his face in his hooves as she started talking .He then felt a nudge that came from where Key was sitting and realized she was referring to him by her last statement. He shot her a angry glare before turning to look at the pony she had been talking to. He had no choice now but to spill the beans. @@Magicon "Well,,," He began feeling rather flustered. He was debating in his mind how much he wanted to tell this pony who's name he didn't even know yet! He began to speak slowly so he had more time to piece together what he was going to say "As key said, were here because of Trixie. She stole something of... great value, and were here to find it. My name is Daylight and I am a detective that Key hired to track down this... item." He didn't want to reveal that they still had no idea what it is they were looking for and hoped that Key was able to keep her mouth shut about that at least for the moment. "We believe that a pony such as Trixie would only steel if it was for personal gain so it's possible that her intentions for going to The Applewood Magic Festival has something to do with what we are looking for." -

This worried him greatly as he would have thought that Ice wouldn't be bother with the cold so much as she said so herself yet he could clearly hear her teeth chattering near him. There was something very wrong going on but there wasn't much else they could do but press on. As the group walked on, the wind only intensified adding to the new gust of wind the night had brung. he saw Ice create a shield of Ice around her to ironically keep her warm, which only made him wish that he had brought his cloak as he couldn't stop shivering. Ice then began to speak and suggest that they should stop for the night. "Y-yes. I-I a-agree." He responded to Ice. He couldn't help chattering now as the cold was really getting to him. "W-we ne-need to-to find sh-shelter!" Ice then went on to ask him a question. He tried his best to stop himself form chattering before answering. @@Ice Storm "I-it depends. I ca-can make it a lot brighter bu-but it will tire me out very quickly." He then proceeded to increase the brightness of his horn which instead of just lighting up the vicinity around them, now extended a great deal in every direction. As Daylight watched Key, he could see that she was genuinely surprised and did not seem to know what she had told him. He worried that he could be misleading her though as he only found out about this himself only last night when he was going through his notes. He wasn’t sure where this particular information had come from as he mysteriously found amongst his other notes and was sure he had not written himself. There was something about the note though that made him feel there was some truth to it. After questioning Electrobolt, Key then started talking to him again asking if he had any more information. He was about to respond when a loud and boastful voice boomed though the car which made him turn around quickly to discover it was Trixie. He had never actuality seen her up close like this before as he had not cared to attend any of her shows for the reason of what he heard about her. He then heard another loud noise from nearby and quickly turned to see that Electrobolt had fallen out of his chair which must have been from Trixie’s entrance. He would of offered to help him up but he didn’t want to miss anything Trixie did so he quickly turned his attention back to her. From the way that she acted, everything he had heard about her seemed true, she was arrogant and disrespectful, but he was surprised to see that she had the smallest bit of common courtesy though and admitted when she was wrong in some way, so maybe she wasn’t that bad after all… He continued to watch her as she got her food and sat down. It wasn’t until he heard Key whispering to him that he looked away. She started whispering about Trixie but then stopped herself and changed the subject quickly for which he was glad for. He didn’t want any slips up with Trixie only sitting a few feet away from them. @, @@Electrobolt, He was back watching Trixie again while also trying to finish up his food when he heard his name mentioned which distracted him again. “A... Lighthouse?” He thought frowning. “Is this the best thing she could come up with as a cover?” He wanted to say something but got interrupted again this time by Electrobolt responding to her question. His frown only intensified when he said this he had a feeling this was going to get him into a bad situation he opened his mouth for again but only got cut off again for a third time. “What is becoming of today’s youth…?” He muttered sighing. He went back to eating his food and decided not to enter into this discussion, at least for the moment. -
@@Dat Dj Pon-3 Fan,I remember watching this video a while ago. I had to watch it again now though as it's so good. I personally think it's the best 3D Typography Video that I've seen especially compared to the other ones of thew same song. I can tell a lot of effort has been put into it and I very much look forward into any new work that DeC101PFF produces from songs in S3.

When the group set off, Day followed in the middle of the group next to Ice storm. As they got deeper and deeper into the forest the light also got darker and darker until it became incredibly hard to see where they were going. The fog that had set in only made things worse making it imposable to see the pony in front of you. Day then heard a voice from next to him say something. "Why didn't I think of this until now?" Day thought to himself. "This should help!" he said aloud so the whole group could hear, then used his horn to provide a bright shining light. As the fog was quite thick, no matter how bright he made it it didn't make much difference and only lit up a small surrounding area around the group. At lest now they could see the shadows of the other members in the group. @@Ice Storm "That's the best I can do." He said to Ice Storm who he could clearly see next to him now. "I'll have to stay near you so you can clearly see the map. At least now we can kinda see where were going." A strong cold wind then began to resonate thought the forest. He had been in the forest a number of times in the past but he had never felt anything like this before, especially for this time of year. The wind then picked up, and blew most of the fog away and thanks to his light spell, more of the surrounding area was now visible. It became increasingly cold though due to this and he couldn't help furiously shivering to the point where he felt like to just stop and curl up somewhere. @@Ice Storm"Yes... there is something very wrong with this wind." He replied. "At least it blew away most of the fog so my light spell is more effective but it just feels so... cold. Icy almost." He then looked at Ice and waited for a reply. She was and expert on all things Ice so maybe she knew something about the wind. -
"Why thank you!" Day replied smiling. Whoever this pony was he sure was firendly, just like all the other ponies in Ponyville. As he got up and moved tables carrying the apple pie, he thought about how the ponies in Manehatten were often busy and uncaring of each other. This was something he missed gtom his time living here. As he sat down at their table the pony he had offered the pie to responded. "It's perfectly OK Electrobolt. I insist that you have it. It seems that your stomach agrees with me." He said pushing the pie over to him smiling again "Like I said I don't feel like eating anymore and I wouldn't want it to go to waste. I'd much prefer a coffee anyway." Day then got back up and walked over to the counter again where Lavender was still standing tiding things up. "Oh, is there anything else I can get for you?" She asked in her same cheery voice when she spotted him. "Yes, could I please get a coffee? White, extra sugar." Day asked politely. "Of course! Our coffee is the best there is in Equastria as we use our own unique blend you'll find nowhere else! it's simply divine." She replied excitability before turning around to prepare his cup. "Hmm... I always like trying different coffee blends. The one's from Manehatten are only sub-par to my liking." He thought. "Here you go!" Lavender said, placing a cup on the counter. The milk had been poured in a way to make the shape of a candy wrapper which he found quite amusing at it fit the shop too well. "Thank you kindly" Day replied, then payed for the coffee and went to sit back down at the table carrying it with him. When he had sat back down at the table of the two other colts he took a sip of his coffee. "Mmm... it really is a exquisite blend." he thought. "It's the perfect mix of bitterness and sweetness that I haven't tasted since..." he stopped himself there as he didn't want to think anymore about that. The memories of it were just too painful for him. He just continued to drink his coffee while focusing on listening to the conversation of the other two colts.

He was very relieved to hear her confirm that. The truth was that he was actuality not very sociable, and struggled to make friends. The ponies that he solved cases for, his "clients" were exactly that and nothing more. He saw that they all had their own lives and friends and felt that there was no room for him in it. He never admitted it to anyone, but he was rather lonely. He did a very good job of hiding it though because when he was around other ponies it felt like he was wanted but it was only to solve their problems. After the case was over he was ignored and mostly forgotten. Some ponies would sometimes send him a thank you letter but that was purely formal and it was when he sat in his office, alone, reading the letters that he felt at his lowest. He then looked at Key, with a sad and depressed expression. It was at times like this when he couldn't hide his true feelings. "How do I know Key won't do the same thing after this case is over?" He thought. "I would gladly refuse payment if it just meant I could keep one friend..." He then realized that Key hadn't finished speaking yet. His spirits lifted a little as she said this. She seemed to be rather truthful with what she said and It was not often that somepony thought as long as she did over something he said to them. "It's possible then... as long this case lasts there might be a chance..." He thought. As long as that possibility remained he would cling to it tightly so he could keep doing his job. His mood then lifted to his usual demeanor when he remembered that Key was waiting for him to tell her that thing he discovered. "Ah yes. Now about what I wanted to tell you Key..." Day said while lowering his voice and leaning in again. He was then distracted when he heard something scraping along the floor and turned to see it was Electro scooting in closer with his chair. "This is none of his business but actuality..." He thought taking a good look at him. "It's possible that he's the one..." He pulled out his notes to refresh his memory before he spoke. "Key, while I was looking into your history, I discovered that... you may have a brother." He then paused so that the full force of the words could set in with her. "I don't know who it is though, other then that he is around your age. The information was sketchy so I'm not sure If I can even rely on what I discovered." He looked over his notes again to make sure there was nothing he missed before putting it away. "I'm sorry but that's all I know and it could be fake as it wasn't from a verifiable source." -

As he ate. He tried his best to not make a mess of his food while also trying to watch how Key would would react to his question, which was proving rather difficult for him as he had to watch two things at once and that never turned out well for him. Key was obviously lost for words, but what she did next he did not expect. Key broke out into a loud, happy laugh, which turned the heads of the other ponies in the car. Day was even more surprised when the other pony, her new friend, also broke out into laughter. It made him feel more embarrassed at it only caused the ponies to look over in their direction a second time. Because of everything that was happening, he had become completely distracted from his dripping sandwich, which he only remembered when he felt something drip on his body. He looked down to see that he had carelessly let some of the sauce drip on him. Luckily the two were still laughing so they didn't notice him casually take a napkin and wipe up the mess, before hiding it under his plate. he then went back to eating pretending that nothing had happened. When they both calmed down, Key started to speak to him and introduce her new friend. Day stopped eating suddenly when he heard her introduce him. "She said friend... does she really think that much of me already? For that to happen she had to have started to trus...""Key," He said suddenly to her. He had to clarify what she had said about him. "Did you really... I am really your... friend?" He said slowly and awkwardly. Although she looked younger then them him, he had very little friends as he found it hard to rely on most ponies as he was a detective, he would end up finding things out about them that they didn't want him to know and end up pushing them away while searching for the truth without realizing it until it was too late. He then turned to Electro as he started speaking to him. "Nice to meet you too." He replied smiling. "I wonder how many friends Key has..." He thought as he looked over at Key. She had gone back to eating but she still wore a smile on her face that showed she was feeling quite happy. "I hope this pony treats her well... but he looks like the good sort." He thought as he looked back to Electrobolt, silently exclaiming him. Day then then realized he was supposed to fill Electrobolt in on what him and Key were doing here. "Oh, Sorry Electro! I was distracted for a moment there" He said quickly apologizing to him with another smile. "It's alright if I call you Electro right? He added on. "Basically Key has hired me to help her find something Trixie has stolen. The problem is that we don't know what it is or why Trixie would do such a thing. The reason were on this train is to follow her..." he then stopped suddenly and looked around the carriage nervously. How could he be so careless? Trixie was on this train as well and although she wasn't in the dining car yet he couldn't take any chances. "I'm sorry Electro but I can't say any more out here in the open." He said firmly to him. I can't risk blowing our cover, which I might have just already done. We'll have to speak more about this later in private." He then remembered that he needed to tell Key something that he had written down so he lowered his voice and lent over to speak to Key. "There's something very important I need to tell you that I came across." He said softly, then waited for her to stop eating. -

Daylight sat in his room going over the few notes that he had taken with him when he hastily left his office this morning. He realized that he should have taken more with him, but there was nothing he could do about it now. It made him feel disadvantaged but he would have to rely on what happened while he was here instead of the past. He looked up when he heard a knock at the door and heard that dinner was being served. Although he was getting hungry, he continued mulling over the notes he had for a while worried about what he was going to eat as he was rather fussy. After hearing his stomach rumble for the third time he decided he had put dinner off long enough and stuffed the notes back into one of his pockets, then left his room to the dinning car. When he entered, there were nine ponies already there, one of which were Kay. She was sitting at a table with a green colt with spiky blue hair and madly shoving food into her mouth while also trying to have a conversation with him. At another table there were the other two passengers who were having a conversation with a third older mare that looked that she was probably the chef from the way she was dressed. He also spotted Springer and the colt who he had got unlocked his own door. There was also another blue coated colt who he had not seen before that was sitting on his own. Day then turned his attention to the two tables that were being used as a buffet table and walked over to get a better look. There was also another pony there deciding on what to eat, but he didn't want to disturb him as he knew how hard of a thing it was that he was doing. "Now starts the hardest decision that I have to make." He thought looking at all the food laid out. "What I"m going to eat." They all looked nice to him initially but he was quite fussy with what he eats so he knew thins was going to take a while. "Let's see" He thought taking out his magnifying glass and looking at each dish closely. "The Pizza has capsicum on it and I don't like capsicum, the dinner rolls are under cooked and doughy as they always are, The Berry Pie looks nice and delicious as well as the Apple Casserole but I always eat the sweet things last, as for the Carrot Cake... I hate Carrot cake. My mother used to love always cooking Carrot Cake and never any other pastry..." He shook his head as he was getting sidetracked. "Back to the food, the salad... I'm not even going to think about that so now to the Sandwiches. There seems to be a very big variety and I wonder of they have... Yes! Cucumber and Lettuce Sandwiches with cheese! All it needs is..." Day took one of the sandwiches by using his magic and removed one of the pieces of bread to squirt tomato sauce on it before replacing it back on the Sandwich. "There, my favorite sandwich. Better do a few more.." He thought as he prepared a few more to take with him. He also took a piece of the Berry Pie as well to eat after the Sandwiches. As he was preparing to leave, he then realized there was one more dish he had not yet looked at. He never deliberately missed something so he put down his plate to take a quick look at it with his magnifying glass. "Hmm... lasagna... with eggplant and spinach by the look of it. Not really a fan of that but as I've already got my food there's no need to get anymore." He then turned to get a drink, and was horrified to see that there was no coffee! Day frowned. He loved his coffee, especially at night. He looked over to where he saw the cook talking with some of the other ponies eating. he didn't want to disturb her so he would have to go without, so he instead took some apple cider with him. He hoped he would get a opportunity to have a cup soon though because he didn't like what he turned into when he skipped his coffee... Now came the second hardest decision he made when eating... where to sit. Day then remembered there was something he read in his notes he wanted to tell Key so he made his way over to her table. As he approached, he overheard what seemed to be the end of a conversation. @@Electrobolt, @@Key Gear"Nice to see this trip is having some positive influence on Key." he thought as he smiled and reached the table to sat down. He looked closely at both of their expressions, and it was obvious that they were feeling uncomfortable. "So who's your new friend Key?" He said to her smiling, before turning his head to look at the green pony himself. He remembered how hard it is for him to make friends and hoped that by saying that would break the ice. Day then picked up one of his sandwiches with his magic, which was dripping tomato sauce. It always did that when he made it himself. He shrugged and began to eat as cleanly as he could trying not to drip any on himself. -
Daylight sat at his desk in Manehatten drinking his coffee, thinking about the time he used to live in Ponyville. Life had been simple and peaceful, yet boring at times which is what caused him to move. There wasn't enough for him to do a detective around there and here he usually got a case around once a week. He had not visited there since leaving those many years ago due to being so busy with work here, and the hustle and bustle of the big city was getting tiring for him... He levitated his paper that was sitting on his desk and turned to the section that had stories about other towns. The part for Ponyville was always small as nothing much happened there compared to other towns but he always read every word of it. He took a sip of his coffee as he started to read. It seemed that things were going well, all the stories reported of positive things happening to the town, as well as upcoming events. The mention of The Running of the Leaves and Nightmare Night coming up caught his eye. He remembered when he used to dress up, all he had were his detective clothes which were his hat, shirt and cloak which wasn't scary but he never really wanted to be scary anyway. Also the Running of the Leaves, he would enter each year to keep his fitness up but would always place above 50th as he wasn't really a runner. Day sighed. He never realized until now how much he missed Ponyville. He looked gloomily at his coffee when an idea hit him. Why not go visit Ponyville? The thought of this cheered him up immensely, so he decided that now would be the best time to go. He didn't have any current cases at the moment and and he some bits saved up from previous cases so he had no reason to stop him. He immediately started packing some things in his Saddlebag to take as he planned on staying at least a few days there. A holiday... that's what he would call it. It was about time he took one anyway. There wasn't that much to pack. He didn't worry about his uniform as he wanted to stay informal but he did take a few detective things such as his notepad and pencil as that's somewhere he never went without if he couldn't help it, as well as some but not of the bits he had saved up as he didn't want to end up wasting it all and have nothing left when he came back. He didn't want to take anything else as this was supposed to be a holiday after all and he didn't want to end up getting dragged into a case if he couldn't help it. He then closed his Saddlebag and levitated onto his back and with one final look around his office, walked out the door locking it behind him and preceded directly to the train station to catch the next train to Ponyville. During the train ride, he couldn't help but to get excited. He was finally visiting his home town after being away for so long. Looking back at things, he couldn't believe it took this long to finally do it. As he stepped off the train, he took a deep breath and exhaled. He had forgotten how clear the air was here compared to Manehatten. That was one thing that bugged him when he first arrived there but he got used to it just like everypony else did. Walking into town, it was the same, simple and quiet town he remembered. There were ponies walking around chatting, playing or just relaxing somewhere but it was no where near as busy as Manehatten was. A few ponies that remembered him greeted him in the same cheerful way that he remembered. He talked with them a little telling them of how he was doing in Manehatten before moving on. It seemed like nothing had changed. As he neared Sugercube corner, the sight of the unmistakeable building looked just like how he remembered it. He stopped for a moment to marvel at the wonderous architecture. He had alwyas been fascinated by this building and today was no differant even after all those years. Memories of the delicious tasting food filled his mind to the point that he could almost smell it, until he realized that he actuality was. There was a slight breeze which was carrying the smell of the treats from the shop to where he was standing. It had been too long since he had apple pie from Sugercube as the ones from Manehatten just didn't taste as good to him. With that, he decided that he would first visit Sugercube, and trotted up to the door and stepped inside. The interior, although somewhat different to how he remembered it still gave off the same feel he would always get from walking in here. Looking around, he saw two ponies sitting at a table discussing something. As he was used to doing. he started to evesdrop to what they were saying but stopped suddenly when he remembered that he was on a holiday and what they were talking about would be none of his business. He then looked over to the counter and spotted a peach mare standing there who he could see had also just noticed him. "More ponies!" She said in excitment. "Welcome to Sugercube Corner! I haven't seen you around before either! Are you another newcomer?" She said in the same cheery voice. "Kind of." Day replied, smiling. "I'm a former resident who moved a number of years ago. I'm currently visiting on a holiday." "Why on earth did you leave? What was wrong with Ponyville?" She asked, shocked at what he had said. "I'm sorry." She then added quickly. "I shouldn't pry into my customers lives." "No, that's quite alright. There was nothing wrong with Ponyville, but there wasen't much for me here with the line of work I chose to peruse." Day said politely and honestly back. "And what work was that?" the mare asked now very curious. Day hesitated before replying. He didn't want to get tied up in any cases when ponies found out that he was a detective as he was on holiday, but he couldn't lie to her... "I'm a detective." He said slowly. "But I'm currently on Holiday so I'm not taking any cases right now." "A detective you say? That sounds exciting! I've never met a detective before!" She said bubbling with excitement. "And don't worry, I won't ask you to do anything for me. Except for one thing though, you still haven't told me your name yet! "Oh, I do apologize." Day said smiling again. "My name is Daylight. I should add that you haven't mentioned your name either." "How silly of me. My name is Lavender Keys" She said smiling back. "Now, is there anything I can get for you?" "Umm... yes. Do you still make those lovely apple pie? I used to really like those." Day answered. "Of course! Lavender said. Your lucky because I only have half left! "That's more then enough." Day said. "Their still made from the apples by the nearby farm right?" "Yep! I only use the freshest ingredients in my food. Here you go." She said taking the other half of the pie from the shelf and placing it on the counter. "Thank you" Day said, as he levitated some bits out of his saddle bag to pay for them by using his magic. He then used his magic again to carry the pie to a table and sat nearby the other two ponies. After he had eaten about half of the pie, he looked at the other half. He didn't really feel like he could eat any more, and he also didn't think it would keep well in his saddlebag. As he looked around he was sure that the Green Pony sitting nearby was eying it hungrily... @@Electrobolt "Umm... Excuse me." Day said to the Green Pony tapping him on the shoulder. "I don't really feeling like eating this and it will spoil if I take it with me so, do you want it?" Day asked him, smiling while levitating it nearby.

As Key started to respond, Day payed close attention to what she said and what her actions were. He had a feeling she would avoid his first question, which is why he went on to ask another one. No matter what Key ended up saying, he would have to trust her regardless if he was going to get anywhere with this case. The question was merely a way to find out more about her character. Honesty and trust was a very important thing for him and he wanted to know if Key shared the same views that he did. When she finally responded, he stayed silent as this was the type of thing he expected for a filly who had not yet learned the importance of honesty and trust to say. He did not want to look mean but he did not approve of what she had said so instead he made a stern but not too harsh face. Hopefully during the case... she would pick up a few good traits from him. She was quick to change the subject, and did not seem to take what she had said to him seriously. He continued to show the same sternness, but as he wasn't going to get any more out of her now, he relaxed his expression to his regular friendly and kind one. He made a note to himself to keep that question in mind to ask again at the right moment. With that, he followed Key onto the train. As he stepped onto the train, he looked around and noticed he was in the baggage car. He then remembered that the conductor was supposed to be there to show them their tickets. "He must will be busy with whatever urgent situation he was dealing with..." He thought. "Hey Key!" He called out to her. "Shouldn't we wait for the conductor?" He was met with no answer though as she had already trotted into the next carriage. He sighed, and continued into the next carriage. He had no choice to follow her as he didn't want her to get into any trouble. He hoped though that what they were doing wasn't already getting them in trouble... As he walked though the baggage car and into the first carriage, he saw the conductor and what looked like to possibly be the train engineer gathered around a broken door, which he caught a glimpse was room 4. "So that's what the urgent situation is..." He thought. "The conductor seems busy now so I'd better not bother him with my ticket. I can show it to him later when I ask him about what happened." He walked right by them without being noticed and continued into the next carriage. Walking though the next few carriages was uneventful, but he did get to get a good look at the inside of all of the train though. He remembered not to dawdle to long though as he still hadn't caught up to Key and she would probably be waiting for him. As he walked into the last carriage, he was surprised to see the last few seconds of what appeared to be another pony picking a lock to one of the doors by using his magic. he then noticed that standing next to him was the other conductor, which he assumed was the assessment, looking impressed. Day then heard Key whisper something to him. "Don't jump to any conclusions." He whispered back to her. He then started to think about what he had just seen. There were several possible explanations to this situation, and he didn't want to accuse the possible criminal when a member of the train staff were standing right there next to him. It was most likely they he knew what was going on, and that this was by his permission. It is possible that the assistant was conspiring against the head... but he did not have any other reason to support that right now, so the first explanation seemed most probable. He couldn't find out any more information just by observing so there was only one thing left to do... @@Magicon, @Springer "Is everything all right here?" He said rather loudly to be sure to get both of theirs attention. -

Day was surprised when he noticed Key's confusion regarding his last sentence. As she stood there looking at him, he wondered what type of ponies she had met in her life, and if they were anywhere near as polite as he was. She then took her ticket and began to walk away without saying anything, until she stopped suddenly, put down her ticket and turned to say “Thank you!” to him, before picking it back up and continuing on towards the line. Day then smiled to himself, happy to see his kindness be rewarded, before following Key and lining up behind her. Day then noticed some commotion happening on the train. He tried to look for the source but was distracted by the conductor when he said something to him and Key about going to deal with a Urgent situation before leaving them to wait on the platform to wait. "This would be the perfect opportunity to ask Key some questions." He thought. But as he looked at her he could tell she was deep in thought and most likely going to ask him some first. He tried to prepare himself for whatever she was about to say, but was distracted when he heard some shouting coming from the train. He would have liked to go and find out what was happening, but then Key blurted out a bunch of questions at once which caught him off guard. "Ummm..." was all he could say at first with a bewildered expression on his face. He quickly recovered though and carefully thought though everything that Key said."I expected a lot of questions but not that many at once." He said with a smile. "Lets start from the beginning then... I know enough about fighting to know that there are better ways of resolving conflict. When it can't be helped though, I have been a part of a fight but I don't know any martial arts. I mainly rely on my magic which I use to blind and stun my opponent thus rendering them unable to fight. As for what I eat I don't see how that's relevant... but I can say that I'm fussy with what I eat which is why I'm so skinny." He paused for a moment to give Key time to absorb everything he had said before continuing. "I have been on a few adventures... but they were mostly when I was still living in Ponyville. Nothing exciting happens in Manehatten that warrants a adventure." he sighed as he said this. Life in Manehatten had become rather boring of late. "Anyway, I was able to identify you in the crowd because I had read about you in old newspaper articles being the young daughter of the stacks. There weren't many filly's standing around the platform and the few that were only one was looking impatient like that they were waiting for someone. And for your last question... yes, I really did sleep in... but it was because I was up late the night before going through all the past information on Trixie that I found. Surprisingly there was a lot considering that Trixie hadn't been that active since... the incident in Ponyville..." He trailed off, sure that Key had heard of it as well as pretty much eveypony had. It wasn't talked much about anymore though and he didn't like being one to bring it up. "Anyway, now I get to ask you a few questions. It's only fair." Day said changing the subject. "I want to know more about you Key." he said with a kind smile. He didn't want to scare her or give her a reason to think anything bad of him. "i read after you ran away no one knew what happened to you. What have you been doing all this time? I don't mean to be rude but I'm guessing that by how scruffy your looking right now your no longer living the high life, and don't worry, I've seen much worse as my time as a detective." He thought back to some of the things he had seen on the streets of Manehatten. All the ponies needed was someone to teach them right from wrong... This gave him an Idea, but he didn't want to directly ask key as that would be rude of him. So instead he decided to take a different approach. "It must of been hard for you running away so young." He said caringly. "Unless you found someone else to take care of you, you would have had to learn to take care of yourself. That would have made you very strong, but also would have disconnected yourself from other ponies as well. How can I trust you that you'll do everything you can to help me?" This was a critical thing he asked all his clients as if he couldn't trust them then he couldn't do his job properly. -
Your welcome! Using a tablet is good because it gives you greater control with what you can draw. That mixed with using a program like paint.net I'm sure the next piece you make will be fair improvement. You can only do so much with MS Paint. I look forward to seeing other pieces you make when get round to it. Don't worry, most artists I know are lazy
-
It really is good. Although a simple pencil drawing it captures AJ perfectly as if it was from the show. I think you should defiantly try coloring this like you have done with your other drawings when you get that chance.
-
It's quite nicely drawn for MS paint. I have to ask though, did you do this by mouse or with a tablet? I know it's possible to draw this good with a mouse because I have a friend who does that. And if you want a program that's simple like MS paint but still gives you the features of other more advanced programs there's paint.net. This is what that same friend uses. i think you've captured what Pinkie would do perfectly if she was in that situation. The colours you chose are also spot on. I did notice another grammatical error which is that "proof's" should be "proves". Other then that I think you did a good job with this.

I very much enjoy the work SqueakAnon do. I first discovered them due to the Doctor Who episodes that they do and that's what caused me to subscribe to them. I hadn't seen this before though as I didn't go though their upload history but I still very much enjoyed it. I may as well post a video at the same time as that is the point of this topic. This is a fan made OOC 20 minute episode that although could be improved in a number of ways, is still interesting to watch in my opinion. Looking though the comments I think some people have been a bit too harsh on it which is why I'm posting it here so it can get some positive attention. I read one of the comments say that the team that made this were inexperienced at doing something like this so hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and improve for the next episode. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgJPHj7Cjss&feature=colike

It's a different type of style I haven't seen before while still remaining true to that of the show's. The amount of effort you've put into it really shows as it's quite detailed. Excellent work!
