Looks very interesting. I can defiantly say it has me quite intrigued though I do admit I was a bit skeptical of the idea at first as it's one I'm uncommon with. I'd very much be able to join this RP as my OC, Daylight if it would be possible. -

Daylight stared at the ground focusing on the bits of moss that were scatted and growing around at his feet. He had to admit that the moss had worked quite well as a absorbing all the liquid earlier and would be something useful to remember for the future. A icy blue hoof suddenly appeared in front of his face starting from the bottom of his neck and ran upwards to his chin which then caused his head to tilt back upwards as he found himself staring into the eyes of Ice Storm. As she talked, his heart began to pound and he lost focus on what she was saying as he could sense she was about to do something so he just stayed silent, yet he was still unprepared fro when she moved closer and kissed him. If there was one word he could use to describe it it was... wet. It felt like all his emotions burst of of control from shock, to surprise, then stress all in a single second, before he relaxed and closed his eyes. Love was something he thought he may never find. When he felt Ice pull away he opened his eyes to be staring directly into hers only a inch away, and saw the same sparkle in her eye as he saw in his dream. He heard her say something but it didn't register in his head as his face was showing an expression of shock as It was at that moment did the dream come flooding back to him, and he was sure without a doubt, that that mare in it had been Ice. He wasn't sure how he knew but... it just felt right in his heart. Still in shock, he saw Ice turn back to look at Iron Wing and it was then that her last statement had registered in his brain, and he remembered why he had felt down in the first place. "NO!" He said loudly, before turning away so not to look at the pair of them."I'm sorry Ice but... I don't think it would work out. You now finally have a family, for which I am happy for but as for I, I only have... my office and my career..." He said trying to be strong but it was clear the sadness in his voice. He could also feel his eyes starting to water. "When this all ends... you will go and move in with Iron Wing while I... go back to my apartment in Manehattan... alone... just the way it always was..." He said hanging his head down again. "I know that by the end of this quest we would have most likely have become very attached to each other and by that point it would be too late as I wouldn't be able to live any more having to go back to my old life and... I would without a second thought give it all up for you Ice..."he said softly turning his head slightly to look at them and at the same time showing them both the tears that were flowing down the side of his face. "I'm sorry Ice but... it would best that I left now before it is too late!" He said though a sob before breaking into a gallop and running out of the cave. He passed the others on his way out but he didn't stop to talk or even look at them as his tears streamed out from this side of his face in the wind. He didn't go very far though as he felt guilty when he realized that he had just gone and abandoned them all like that which only added to the pain he was already feeling. There was a large tree trunk that had fallen over just outside the entrance which he stopped and sat on. He looked back into the cave but couldn't see the others inside that well due outside being a lot brighter then in the cave. It had all been too much for him to handle so he just buried his face in his hooves and cried deeply. He almost wished that he had never seen the request for help in the newspaper to begin with otherwise none of this would have ever happened... -

As Daylight stared into Ice's eyes, he could see her eyes beginning to water and tears roll down her face yet she made no noise. He was very impressed how how strong willed Ice must be to not have already broken down after everything that had happened. After he had walked over and confronted the dragon. He saw Alex awake and also enter a defensive stance. Suddenly, the remainder of the Ice barrier broke and Day heard Ice speak up from behind him. As she walked up next to him, he felt the temperature in the cave drop dramatically to a point where it became chilly and looking at Ice he saw she had created a barrier of Ice around her body. Daylight knew she had good intentions and was just trying to protect them but... he was worried that her actions may be interpreted as hostile to the dragon. he was intrigued though when the dragon spoke that he meant them no harm and was willing to just simply leave. Right then though Iron appeared and said to know this dragon whose name was Colt, but... he was unable to remember her which surprised him. Day relaxed, but only slightly as if Colt could not remember who iron was, then there still could be trouble. He also heard Electro speak up so the only one who was still asleep was Felix. Day watched Colt when iron had approached her friend. He clearly could not remember her but from his expression Day could tell he was trying very hard to. Colts yellow eyes began to glow and shine a golden light and a same coloured magical aurora appeared around his fist. Day took a few steps back, both in fear and bewilderment. "What...? A dragon that can use magic...?" he thought. Colt then cried out to iron, and preceded to use his fist that was now charged up with some strange magic to punch himself right between the eyes. The impact made a blunt sound, and Colt, most likely winded by the effect, fell to his knees with blood now dripping from a cut on his forehead which made Day wince. he didn't like the idea of self harm and was worried what the dragon had done to himself... Lucky, he spoke up, now remembering who Iron was. Day breathed a sigh of relief, and relaxed completely, the threat being no more. iron looked relieved but also angry at what Colt had done and was also concerned about the wounds he had. She asked Felix for assistance but there could be something he could do too... His head then quickly spun to look at Ice when she had began to speak, before bolting into the deepest part of the cave. It was clear that she realised she had overreacted, and even a strong willed mare like her, could no longer handle the emotional turmoil she was being faced with. He should go and comfort her but he thought he should probably tend to Colt first. Iron, who also seemed concerned about Ice went further into the cave to find her, also mentioning that she had prepared food for them to eat, which Day could smell the aroma that was coming from it. It smelled delicious. Day then turned to examine Colt more closely, and saw that his injuries were mostly only bruises and scratches as his scales had protected him from whatever it was that he had gone through, and other than the cut on his head, the most serious wound seemed to be a bruise on his wing. He wasn't sure about dragon wings but he remembered reading about Pegasus's wings and how they were very delicate and how a simple bruise could render them from flying, so he assumed the same would be true for a dragon. He could completely heal him using his magic but... his wounds were mostly minor other than for his wing and it would tire him out unnecessarily as Felix could tend to his other wounds. @@Colt "Colt, I can heal you using magic but, as it costs me my energy and most of your wounds are relatively minor I will only heal your wing and leave the rest to Felix, another pony in our group who is much more skilled in First aid then I am. Relax your wing so I can easily reach the bruised part with my horn" He said calmly and friendly. Day then walked around to the side of Colt, and with his wing relaxed, charged up his horn slightly which glowed a bright white in the process, then touched it to the bruised area. he could feel the energy and warm transfer through him and out of his horn into Colt's wing. When he retracted his horn, the spell having worn off, he exclaimed Colts wing where the bruise had been, which was no longer there. He walked back round to the front of Colt to speak to him again. @@Colt "There, your wing should be healed now. I need to go check on Ice now but I'll get Felix to come over and finish healing you up." Day then turned around and walked deeper into the cave, before stopping and talking to Felix. @ “I’ve healed a bruise on Colt’s wing using my magic which looked like to be the most serious injury, which is a good thing but not surprising for a dragon with scales and all I guess. I would have healed him completely but that would have tired me out a lot more so seeing as you're here I can leave the rest up to you if you don’t mind.” He said to Felix smiling. “Now, if you’d excuse me, I need to go check on Ice...” he said trailing off and heading deeper into the cave. As he neared the back of the cave, he saw Iron already there, covering Ice with her wing as she did before. He heard Ice telling Iron through tears about her life story, how she had experienced so much hardship and rejection, and how the kindness him and Iron had shown meant the world to her, and most importantly, how it meant she didn't have to be alone anymore... Daylight couldn't help to be touched by Ice’s story and shed a tear in response. He might not have experienced the same rejection as she had but he very well knew how it felt to be truly alone never having anypony he could rely on but himself. He walked up next to the group and was about to say or do something to comfort Ice when Iron responded. The first part of what she said, he agreed with completely. He thought she made a very good leader, much better than he ever would in his opinion. Iron then started talking about the Grayhoove clan, which she herself was a part of. Normally he wasn't fond of clans as the most if not all of the ones in Manehatten were... usually up to something shifty but he had heard good things about this one how they fought for honor and justice to guard and protect those who were unable to fend for themselves. He was unsure why Iron would be telling Ice about all this now, until she formally invited her to join. This made Day become very anxious, though he was not sure why. Something inside of him was dreading if Ice accepted Iron’s invitation... As much as he was dreading it, he was also half expecting it, so he was not surprised when ice accepted Iron’s invitation. His heart sank, as he was now deeply concerned what this meant for him... he knew he should be happy for Ice’s sake but... it felt to him like he had just lost the first pony who he was ever close to... Day just stood there, watching the two mares hug each other in joy. He didn't want to interrupt the moment they were having, but he didn't want to just walk away either as that’s what he had always done in the past, not when he felt he might have finally got a real friend so not knowing what to do... he just simply sighed and hung his head. -
The Importance of Tagging: Search Feature Woes & Ironing
Dave247 replied to NavelColt's topic in Throne Room
It could be an idea to have users suggest tags for topics that aren't there's but, that in itself would cause problems like first and foremostly, how such a thing would be implemented which would most likely require another custom plugin created by our tech turkey who is already extremely busy, and even if it were, what is to say the users were to make use of it otherwise the time spent making the plugin would have been for a waste. On the flip side, users might start using it too much and overwhelming the staff with requests to approve but I would imagine this to be a easier fix as a limit could be set to how many suggestions a user could make per day, or something along those lines. it's just an idea but I honestly don't know how viable it would end up being and if it would be worth going to the trouble of implementing it.- 20 replies

After Daylight had spoken to Ice he turned his head too look away to try and hide his slightly red cheeks. Suddenly, he felt something on his cheek, and realised it was Ice who had given him a quick peck. He quickly turned back to look at her, with a expression of surprise on his face that quickly changed to one of embarrassment and his cheeks turn a dark crimson. "Thank god iron is still asleep" he thought. He was about to reply to her when he noticed Iron had started to stir. A feeling of dread rose inside of him as he was unsure how iron would react to the situation as he didn't know if she had heard the descussion they had had last night. Luckily, iron chose to not say anything directly about the incident which Day was glad for as he assumed she was doing it out of respect. Instead, she went and offered a solution. Moss, which she said was a old field trick she said. Iron then preceded to build a bed of moss and used it to wipe her own legs dry, before offering it for them to use. Ice then stood up and just simply lay on the moss as her underside as well as her side partly was completely soaked. Ice then began to speak to iron, almost on the verge of tears. It was clear that all this was becoming too much for her to handle. Day stood up to go over and comfort ice but, he didn't need to as Iron had knelt down to give Ice a hug. He smiled, as he watched Iron speak to Ice. She was kinda and caring, and acted a lot like a big sister would, which Day found intriguing... While the pair had been talking, Day walked over to one of the cave walls and ripped off a few chunks of moss using his magic and used it to dry his own legs off by using them like a sponge, levitating them with his magic. He then ripped off a few more chunks and carried them all back to where they had been sleeping to clean what whatever remain on the ground that hadn't already been soaked up by either Ice or the blanket. Satisfied with his work, he looked around to see if there were any other traces left of what had transpired. There was the smell but unfortunately nothing he could do about that. He saw the two had finished talking by now and Iron, looking slightly embarrassed she picked up the blanket and took it further into the cave to dry it off. Looking at Ice, he thought the others would be wandering why she was sitting on a bed of moss when they awoke, but that alone wouldn't give anything away. He then noticed the sides of her coat were still wet and something would need to be done about that. Luckily though, none of the others seemed to be awake yet so he walked over to Ice levitating some of the chunks of moss along with him. @@Ice Storm "Don't be too hard on yourself, as you said you can't help it so it's not your fault what happened as the medication you took made things worse but was necessary for you to get a proper nights rest." He said with a friendly smile. "While you two were talking I dried myself off and cleaned up but the puddle but... I uhh... noticed that there's still one, little thing left to dry off..." he trailed off, looking away from ice and blushing profusely. He was sure by now she had noticed the chunks of moss that were levitating near him so without another word he began to use the moss to dry off the sides of coat off. He tired to be as gentle as he could but he also wanted to make sure he did a good job so that the others wouldn't be able to notice anything when they awoke. As he worked, moving around her body, he felt embarrassed to look at her coat for some reason but, at the same time he couldn't help admiring it too. It was a beautiful Icy blue that, seemed rather familiar to him for some reason... When he finished, he was back standing in front of Ice facing her again. He felt too embarrassed to look at her directly after what he had just done so, for a few moments he instead directed his gaze to the bed of moss she was sitting on. His heart pounding, he took a chance and starred directly into her eyes and, stood transfixed by the colour of them. Before he could think anything though, he heard the sound of Ice shattering and spun around to see that sompony, or something to be exact, had broken though the wall. At first, Day was perplexed to what this creature could be but when he recognized it it sent him into a state of panic. It was a dragon. Although he didn't know much about Dragons what he had heard was not good so he did not want to take any chances. He stood his ground in a defensive way in front of Ice and shouted loudly to wake everypony up. @, @@Electrobolt, @, @@Iron Wing "WAKE UP EVERYPONY! We... err... have a bit of a situation here!" Day shouted with a clear sense of urgency in his voice. He hoped that his voice would echo back into the cave so that Iron could hear it too. He wasn't going to assume the worst immediately though as, diplomacy was always the first thing he tried. He gulped and then, slowly and confidently walked up to the dragon and stood in front of him. He was standing in his hind legs which made him much taller then he was and, his yellow eyes felt like they would pierce his soul. Although he was admittedly scared inside he knew he couldn't show it to the dragon so he did his best to hide it. @@Colt "My name is Daylight. Are you a friend, or foe? And what brings you here to intrude in our cave, Dragon?" he asked confidently, but with still a tinge of fear in his voice. He very much hoped that, if needed, the others would be prepared if his negotiations failed. -

When Daylight heard the outcry of a nearby pony he felt embarrassed but, he was enjoying the hug too much to react to it in any way. He was sure this would have had made key react as he felt a light tenseness from her however she did not let go of him which he was glad for. After he had spoken to Key, for a few moments she didn't respond, which he didn't mind as he was sure she had heard him. He closed his eyes again to make sure he would remembered the feeling he was currently having for when he needed it most. When he felt key release him he opened his eyes and got up. He looked back at Key who was watching him, but then got distracted by Ambrosia when she began to talk. Day followed her so he too could be in earshot so he could hear what she had to say. At first Ambrosia still seemed frazzled from her fainting. As he listened, she seemed to have had a dream, and a rather dark one at that. To make things more interesting it seemed that it was all tied with that story Lapis had written down... Day then saw Ambrosia notice the now wet and soggy flower that was around her ear and took it off to look it at. He winced, gritting his teeth hoping that the flower was not now ruined due to the water. On the mention of the notepad it made him remember that he had left it on the table. @Ambroisa "I've got the Notepad Ambrosia as I was reading it after you fainted. I just left it on the table over there. Let me go get it for you." he said then walked back over to the table where they were sitting previously. He noticed that Electro had gotten up to help Springer and Lapis was now talking with him as well. There was also a new pony who he had not seen before standing there as well. He was a male, white Pegasus pony and judging from the symbol on his saddlebag was a mail pony. He didn't have time to find out who he was now though so he just picked up the notepad with his magic from the table and walked back over to Ambrosia while levitating it in the air. @Ambroisa "Here you go Ambrosia." he said when he had neared her as he levitated it in front of her to either read or take hold of herself. -

Daylight noticed Felix blush when he had called him "Doc". He was just being respectful as he was sure Felix know a lot more about first aid then he did and so would deserve the title of the doctor in the group. All he was is the healer. he was glad to hear Felix say there was nothing seriously wrong with her but when he mentioned her accident Day immediately looked away and stared at the ceiling pretending to be more interested in that and that he didn't hear the last part of what Felix had said. He looked back at Ice though when she started speaking about her condition herself though. He smiled to himself as she much trust them a lot to be speaking so openly about it. He was intrigued when she spoke about the dream she had had as he had experienced a few situations where his client at the time had a dream that was more of a vision and turned out to be useful to helping them with their situation. He would have to remember to ask Ice about the dream later... Day then watched Felix began to go though his saddle bag pulling out all sorts of bottles and vials which he assumed to be medication which he used to give to pines for various illnesses. He then offed a pill from one of them to Ice saying it would help her sleep and relax her. He then packed everything back in his bag and turned to speak to him. Daylight nodded and thanked Felix as he then went to go and do what he said. Looking back to Ice, he saw her take the pill and then fall immediately to sleep. It was probably about time that he sould get some rest too as there would be no coffee in the forest to keep him awake... Day looked over to Alex and Electro who looked as if they were about to fall asleep as well, then back to Ice. He thought about how Felix said the pill would relax her and he bet that would probably make her condition worse come the morning. Although Ice seemed open with the group Alex and Electro still knew nothing of what Ice had told them before and it would be rather embarrassing for her if come morning they woke up to see a large puddle around her. Knowing the consequences, Day sat down on Ice's other side as close to her as he could as to hopefully hide any overflow come morning. As he closed his eyes and rested his head on his front hooves, the feel of another ponies body against his comforted him, even if it were through a slightly damp blanket, he could still feel the warmth coming from her body. As he slept, he dreamed he was in a field on a warm summers night, lying next to another pony as they lay on their backs and watched the stars. It was quite dark and he was unable to see the pony he was with clearly as there was only the dim light of the moon illuminating the night. He was sure it was a mare though as the outline of her mane and tail looked too feminine to be male. They talked and laughed while admiring the beauty of the night until they began to feel sleepy. As he closed his eyes he felt the warmth from the mare's body and her soft fur against his. He opened his eyes slightly and saw her blue eyes sparkle in the moonlight an inch away from his and then a feeling of wetness engulf him. Daylight stirred, his body felt wet for some reason but he wasn't sure why. At first he thought he was still dreaming but when he opened his eyes he saw he was back in the cave with the others asleep around him. He quickly closed his eyes to try and focus on what the dream he had last night was about but,,, he failed. he almost always forget the dreams he had, when he had one that is. All he could remember was a certain darkness a feeling of great joy, and something... blue? "Damn. Must of been a nice dream. I hate it how I forget them so easily..." he thought. Day then realised that he really did feel wet and it was mostly the side of his body. When he turned his head he saw he had bee sleeping very close to Ice, who was now awake herself. It was then that he remembered the previous night's events. Looking over to the entrance of the cave, the sun was now shining though the clear Ice barrier Ice storm has restructured the night before and had melted ever so slightly in the small areas where the sun was shining on it. Day turned his attention to Alex and Electro, who for the most part seemed to be asleep. Turning back to look at Ice, Day then spoke to her softly as to not wake the others. @@Ice Storm "Morning Ice." He said smiling his usual friendly smile. "I bet your surprised and wondering why I chose to sleep next to you. Well to put it simply I know your rather trusting and open with us about your condition but as Alex and Electro have no idea about that yet..." he trailed off glancing in their direction for a second."I thought it would be rather embarrassing for you if they woke up and saw... what were all currently sitting in." He said grinning. "Don't worry though, I don't mind as long as your happy." he said smiling. "Hopefully we can cover up whatever's left with the blanket so hopefully nopony will notice. Until then I'm not going to get up until you and Iron do though so I can continue to hide it. it's actuality quite nice sitting here as it's rather warm." he said grinning again, but couldn't help feeling a bit embarrassed at that statement as he felt his cheeks turn slightly red. -

It's unfortunate that since the last update the iOS hack that was available no long works and the alternative is not very user friendly. Luckily though, for those with and Android device, I discovered a simple and easy way to essentially cheat in the game. Without getting into any jargon there is a file stored on the phone or tablet that contains the values for what the costs are for things like the balloon pop game as well as the ball bounce and apple picking game. It is possible to change the the numbers to a negative value so when you chose one of the options it gives you coins/gems/hearts instead of taking them away. It's a little tricky to go and edit it yourself so instead what people have been doing is taking the file from their device and then uploading for others to use. All you need to do is replace the file on your own device and the game will finally be fun to play for once Here is a list of what the file does: On the Ball Toss and Apple Picking game the values are as follows:1X = +99 Hearts 2X = +999 Gems 4X = +999 Coins And the Balloon Pop game is as follows:The one in the middle that would normally cost gems, now gives you +999 Coins The one that would cost you hearts now gives you +999 Gems The timed, free one remains unchanged because, there's not really much point to using it now The reason I have prioritized coins is that, if you play like I do you'll quickly find yourself running out of coins very quickly and although you'll be spending gems left right and center they still won't out nearly anywhere near as fast as the coins do. Sure you could just farm the shops using all those gems you have but this actuality gives you a reason to still play with the ponies and level them up so they can be used to get you even more coins later on. If you would prefer for it to award you currency based on different multiplier or games then send me a PM asking for hat you want exactly and I will customize the file to fist your needs. I'm sorry I'm not able to do more advanced things but I'm not keen on digging though endless lines of code trying to find exactly what I'm looking for when I don't even know what that is. So here's a list of instructions that you need to follow. Again, this will work on Android Only. Download the file from the link below. On your device, access your SD card by either plugging the device into your computer using a USB cable or using a app to wirelessly transfer a file to it. Navigate to the /Android/data/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftPOHM/files folder. Paste the file that you downloaded in that directory (But make sure to keep a backup of your original file in case it doesn't work!) I can't guarantee it will work for ALL Android devices but if it does then that's good. If it doesn't you will need to upload to me your ORIGINAL OBB file that you backed up so I can modify it and then send it back to you. Here is a link to download the file. I would have uploaded it to the forum but... it's not letting me for some reason. Download Link: UPDATE: Due to the new Hearts and Hooves update this method no longer works. NOTE: I didn't know this myself until a friend mentioned it to me when she saw me playing the game. The way to get a high score in the Ball Bounce game is to flick the ball back when the circle that is around the ball is the smallest as it will give you more points. I was trying to flick the ball as quickly as possible thinking that I would get more flicks and more points but I didn't realize that the points scaled on how far away the ball was from the pony. I can't remember exactly but the maximum amount you could get from a flick was something like... 24 I think... I could be wrong though. If you miss the ball it goes back to giving you a lot less so it must scale depending on if you keep a rally going. EXTRA NOTE: last thing I forgot to add, if anyone wants to add me my GL Live ID is "Dave247". Hope you people that have an Android device can finally have fun playing the game! -

When Daylight had finished talking he watched key closely for a response. She seemed to be... confused and distracted thinking about something because she said nothing about the book or the story. He became curious when she then got up and walked around the table to him and continued to stare at him. She showed almost no emotion as her eyes were open big and wide focusing on him. He was sure he caught her smile before she looked away, probably in embarrassment he assumed. All of a sudden, she then leapt onto Day and locked him into a tight hug. Because he was comply surprised by her actions the force of her leap made him lose balance in his chair and fall over backwards. For a brief second, Day was shocked, but it quickly changed to one of happiness and joy as he embraced Key hugging her back just as tight while letting out a loud hearty laugh. He simply lay there for a few moments, with his eyes close locked in a hug with Key savoring the moment the best he could. He liked hugs a lot but rarely got to share them with somepony he was close to. If felt good to once again to... have a friend. He opened his eyes and stared at the young filly with a smile. He was going to make it his duty to make sure that no matter what happened that no harm would ever come to her or or her brother. The two of needed a protector... a guardian of the light... a father... Day then heard a pony coughing and the familiar voice of the cook. He turned his head while still lying on the ground and peered though the legs of the ponies that were standing all around them. It looked like Ambrosia had awoken... He cringed, he should probably get up and go check on her to make sure she didn't start on another rant but... Key still had him locked in a hug and didn't seem like she was going to let go any time soon. @@Key Gear "Umm... Key?" He said quietly to her so that only she wold hear. "I'm very much enjoying this hug as I'm sure you are too but unfortunately it can't last forever and Ambrosia has just woken up sooo... do you mind releasing me so I can check on her to make sure she doesn't start on another rant?" he finished with a grin, -
Daylight stood there, feeling rather uncomfortable but happy at the same time. Seeing her blush was one of the cutest things he remembered and he couldn't help but blush himself as he remembered that night they had spent together. The change of topic came at the perfect time as to not make the others too curious. "Uhh yeah, about that..." he said hurriedly trying to shift his thoughts away from his daydreams. "It was nothing bad. Just turned out that when we got the lab results back from a sample we took from one of her snow cones it was much too cold for pony consumption and so it was giving them Hypothermia. The guys had real trouble trying to get it to the lab without melting though, so we had to end up borrowing one of the pushbike freezers and ride all the way to the lab. Let me tell you the pony who ended up having to ride that got one hell of a workout" He said grinning. "As for where were headed... actuality... I don't know... we were all just following Alex over there who was going to check out the notice board... where we go from there... is a mystery" he said as he finished with his charming smile.

Daylight set there, completely expressionless as he watched the chatter going on around him. He saw Magicon sit down next to him but did not turn his head to respond in any way. He just wanted this meeting to hurry up and be done with... He did turn his head however when he heard the door leading into the dining car slide open and Electrobolt and Key walk though it. "Good... they must of got my message..." he thought. Electro then walked over to Magicon to thank him for comforting him earlier. Magicon gave a small nod and Day did as well as Electro then proceeded to sit in one of the empty chairs. Day quickly turned to look at Key when she heard him speak to him with a rather intrigued look on her face. "I..." Is all he could say before she had jumped onto his table and reached out her hoof for the flower that was still around his ear. As Daylight was a little on edge Key's actions made him jump out of his chair rather quickly so that he could distance himself form her and her hooves. "I'm not going to let anypony else touch this flower..." he thought. Luckily, Lapis then began the meeting which distracted Key from his flower as she went and took a seat next to Electro. Daylight sighed and then sat back down himself. It started off with them all introducing themselves. "My name is Daylight." He said, with his usual friendly smile. He was about to continue speak and announce how he was a detective, but then decided against it. "I'm not going to say it until it is absolutely needed..." he thought. Lapis went on next with his opening statement. It was more or less a general warning to everyone but finished with the implication of strange things going on last night other from the show. Day knew immediately what he was referring to. "Somepony must of told him... most likely Ambrosia as the only other two who knew about it were Key and Electro and I doubt they would have told him..." he thought. The way Lapis turned to rest his eyes on him when he had finished speaking only confirmed his suspicions. "Dammit I need to be more careful with who I share information with next time... hopefully he doesn't do anything foolish with the knowledge that he knows now though..." He thought. Lapis then pulled out some notes and gave it to Magicon to pass around he circle. Because time was sparse he only had the opportunity to glance over the notes but... while reading, he could sense a certain... profoundness to what was written. It was a story, and a very good one at that but... Day sensed there was something more... something much more hidden behind the text. He passed it on making a note to himself to take a closer look at it again later. Once everyone had read the notes Lapis went on to say that that this story was actuality more of a recollection of ancient events that was written in a book. This book, Dusky claimed to be his due to his knowledge of the story inside it and that Trixie had taken it from him and was still in possession of it. "Hmm... wait... Trixie... on the train with some important item and the note telling us to come here... no, it can't be, can it? It's all too convenient..." Day thought, rather puzzled at this new revelation. "I must ask Lapis for his notes later to study them in detail to see if I can learn anything from it..." Day looked back to Lapis who indicated that there was one more thing he wanted to say. Dusky had told him, that there was a thief aboard this train who was out to steel his book and that the thief was Key. Daylight was at first angry at Lapis to have made such a claim. he didn't believe for a second that Key could be a thief and that Dusky had had been lying to Lapis. What really annoyed him was that Lapis had said himself though that he did not trust Dusky yet he saw no reason for Dusky to lie to him so he did not bother to question the accusation at all, leading to exactly where they were now. Day looked to Key and saw that she was not taking the accusation well. He very much wanted to say something in Key's defense, but he didn't want to end up exploding at Lapis if he waen't able to control himself. Luckily, Electro stood up to say something instead. Day approved of everything Electro had said as he was the first one to challenge Lapis's accusations but it was the very last word that he spoke that caught his attention... "Your WHAT!" Daylight exclaimed without thinking, nearly falling out of his chair. "But... how...? Why...? Huh?" he thought, trying to quickly price his thoughts back together again. Now was not the time to contemplate over this though. He would have to ask the pair about this more later. Day shifted himself around in his chair until he was comfortable before turning his attention to Key and awaited her response. She first started to talk about the book, and how Dusky had lied because she too, had prior knowledge of of the story due to the story being passed down in her family. As Key said herself, her claim now held the same merit Dusky's did as it is rather flimsy evidence and on top of that either one or both of them could be lying for some unknown reason but... he had never seen a liar speak with such force before, as if they, truly believed inside what they were saying... What key went on to say next, completely shocked, flabbergasted, annoyed, disappointed then deeply worried him. Never in his wildest imaginations would he had thought that key would be a thief. He was then annoyed and disappointed at key for not telling him this herself, but he couldn't really blame her considering the position she had been in. Finally, he became worried, deeply worried, because it meant what Dusky had said was true. "What else does he know? And maybe there is some truth behind his words about the story after all..." He thought. His mind was now a complete mess, being blown apart twice in less then a few minutes. he really did not know what else to think at the moment. Day's head then snapped round as he hard Ambrosia speak up behind him. As she spoke... he cringed. This would not help things at all. She appeared to be using logic... but some, very strange flawed logic from what he could tell. He become worried because now both Key and Electro had even more things thrown against them. He watched her as she started to read though the notes the others all had already read. He was intrigued by her look of shock while she was reading, and then suddenly fainting. His mind then snapped into gear as something needed to be done now. "It's okay everypony! I know First Aid!!" He exclaimed as he rushed over to check on Ambrosia. "Well, kinda, but they don't need to know that and I'm pretty sure this is a simple one though..." He thought to himself. He crouched down next to her and checked for a pulse, which was still there and noticed that she was still breathing due to her chest still rising and falling. "She looks okay. I'd say she just fainted after reading the notes." he announced to everyone. "Good thing too really as it interrupted her rant... It should be simple enough to wake her up but... I'd rather I sort things out with Key and Electro before waking her up..." he thought. He was about to get up when he remembered he flower still around his ear and got an idea. He tried his best to quickly and inconspicuously remove the flower from his ear and tie it around one Ambrosia's ear. He hoped that anypony that was standing from after it would just appear that he was still checking her out. Day the stood up, and spoke his recommendation as a mildly trained First Aid Pony. "Best to wait a little while before trying to wake her up though, just to be safe. A quick shock should do the trick, like a bucket of cold water for example." he said hurriedly, Day then turned to look at the notepad that contained the story he picked it up using his magic and began to go over it again more closely this time while casually edging away from where Ambrosia lay. He looked up briefly at everypony in the room. Almost everypony was here so it was the perfect time to get things done. "First thing's first though..." he though as he walked over to Lapis with his eyes still on the levitating notepad. It wasn't until he had reached where Lapis was standing and he began to talk did he take his eyes away from the pad. @@Bari "I thank you for going to the trouble to procure this information Lapis. I apologize but I'm going to need to borrow these notes for a while. I'm sure it will serve to be very useful to understanding more about the book in question that it comes from." he said professionally. Finally, the time had come to play detective. "As you would have already figured out from what Dusky had told you I am indeed a detective, and I'm going to make it my duty to find out exactly what is going on in this train. If there's anything else you or your assistant Asteria knows that you think could be useful to my investigation then I request that you willfully tell me yourselves because rest assured I will find out one way or the other in the end, and let me tell you now that I don't like liars." He finished curtly then turned and walked away going back to reading the notepad. After standing for a few moments with his attention at the notepad again, he looked up again to decide who to talk to next. He saw Magicon still sitting there but, there was nothing he needed to say to him at the moment. There were also the two Pegasus's nearby as well but he sense that they were more interested in each other then everything else that was going on. He also saw, a familiar green Pegasus that looked rather weak simply observing everything that was going on. If he recalled correctly, this was Springer, the real assistant conductor that Electro must be taking over for. There was something... different about him this time though as he looked at him but he couldn't put his hoof on what... @@Key Gear, @ That only two young ponies left. He walked up to them again, looking at the notepad to hide his initial reaction. When he reached the pair he looked at them both directly with a stern glare. He waited a few moments before he said anything because he wanted to show that he was very serious, but at the same time he didn't want to appear intimidating or scary. He sighed, and relaxed his glare. His usual professional routine wouldn't work this time. Not for ponies so young and... not for friends either. Day sat down at the table with them, put the notepad down beside him and smiled. He trusted them, both of them, and wasn't about to start disliking Key just because she was a thief. maybe he was too trusting... but he didn't really see it as he had a choice in this situation. "Key, Electro... I see that there are secrets that you have been keeping from me for whatever reason but for this to work and us to be a team we all have to be completely open and honest to each other from now on to a certain degree. That is, anything and everything that has to do with Trixie, Dusky, and this Book." He said seriously. "As for you two being brother and sister... it actually makes me glad to know that despite how surprised I was at first because it is a lot better then... the other way I thought it was..." He trailed off awkwardly. "And as for you Key" He said softly as he turning to look at her directly. "It doesn't matter to me that your a thief. I can still tell that your a good pony on the inside and only do what you do to survive. I know this for a fact otherwise Electrobolt would have never called you his sister otherwise. So basically what I'm saying... your still the excat same Key Gear to me as before. Ignore what Ambrosia said, both of you," He said now looking back the the pair of them. "She wasn't being very much impartial herself which nullifies her whole augment. Just... try to stay calm when she wakes up and let me deal with it." He finished with a smile. "Now... to business..." Day said going back to his usual friendly tone as he moved the notepad between the three of them. "Key, I noticed you had something very interesting to say about this story, and if it is on the book that Trixie stole, it could well be what we are looking for. I need you to tell me everything you know about this book and the story inside it." -

I got some bad news for you guys but... I have secret documentation that key gear is actuality "Chaotic Good", and I'm sure most of the rest of you are too. So what that means is that Key will always do the right thing, but goes about it in extreme and Chaotic way. Just thought I should point that out. There are many more aliments then just "Chaotic" and "Lawful" you know. You can choose to deny my logic, but it will only lead to your demise by doing so.

@ "Interesting..." he repied to Felix while nodding his head and watching him settle down in the cave. The last part about how he said he cared deeply about the forest and how it it was a crucial part of his past intrigued him deeply, but he figured now was not the time to inquire about that topic until he got to know Felix a little better first. When Felix took off his coat he revealed that he was carrying a saddlebag with the distinctive first aid symbol inscribed upon it. Day assumed that Felix must be train in the skill most likely to one higher of his own as he didn't have much time to devote to studying that as he was almost always busy doing something. Day could sense the good and sincerity coming from this pony and very much doubted he was trying to deceive them. "That would be an idea but after the other who just started, Electrobolt and Alex," He said while gesturing to them so Felix knew exactly who he meant", Are dine with their shift. In the mean time though, as you said Ice Storm does need the res of our attention's, yours too. I noticed the first aid symbol on your saddle bag so I assume you are trained in First Aid? I know only a little as it's useful for me as I have a healing spell but I don't have as much time as I'd like to become more proficient due to being so busy as a detective." Day looked over to check on the pair of Mare's again and noticed that iron Wing had fallen asleep with one of her wings covering Ice as protection. Ice also appeared to have woken up but was still a little groggy. @ "Come, let us both go and check on her." He said to Felix as he got up and walked over to where the two Mare's lay. "Oh and by the way, the Pegasus's name is iron Wing." he finished with before turning to Ice. @@Ice Storm "How are you feeling Ice? Manage to get a bit of rest? You look rather sung with both the blanket and Iron's Wing." he said grinning. "This is Felix." He told Ice while gesturing to him. "He knows First Aid and could help you with anything. My knowledge of medicine is quite limited and I don't know how to deal with magic overexertion." Day then stepped to the side of Ice so that Felix could be closer to Ice to examine her. While waiting for him to preform his analysis, he noticed a fairly decently sized wet patch on the bottom of the blanket right where her... He quickly looked away and pretended that he hadn't noticed. The cave was completely dry and there was only one possible way that could have happened. @ "Sooo... how's she looking doc?" Day said in a rather concerned way. He hoped Ice would recover by the morning because even though he was the leader now he doubted how effective he would be tomorow when they face any "real" dangers... @@Ice Storm Day then just remembered he had not answered Ice's first question when she had awoken. "Oh sorry Ice. I forgot about your question. I'm honestly not sure what time it is because I'm not wearing my watch but I would think a handful of hours have gone by since you got knocked out. Lets see..." He said looking out though the still clear Ice wall that was shielding their cave from the harsh winds. "It looks pretty dark outside so as a rough guess... I'd say somewhere around midnight, give or take a few hours." Day then finally quickly checked on Alex and Electro. They were doing their job, guarding the entrance, but weren't talking much and seemed to be mostly staying silent. Most likely they didn't know what to talk about. @, @ "Come on you guys, surely you must have something to talk about!" Day called out to them. He had forgotten she was still sleeping and hoped that him raising his voice to speak to the other two hadn't woke her... -
I very much enjoyed the documentary and will dentally be showing it to my father as was my plan all along. he likes these kinds of films so it would perfect for him to understand the fandom then me trying to explain it to him and him getting the wrong idea. I agree it would have been nice for them to go into more detail about what the staff from the show thought about it all but then that would have probably taken the focus away from the main thing being about the people themselves and the experiences they have had. The main focus of the doc was to inform people that didn't know much about the fandom so for us who are a par of it it serves as a reminder that all the good it's doing as the good is often overshadowed by the bad depending on where on the internet you visit. All in all you should buy it to support the creators as they need to get paid somehow. They have said they haven't been paid yet and are expecting the return from the release to cover the costs they have paid. $13 might be a bit much but they need to make money somehow if their ever to make another documentary about anything. This is basically a job for them and they need the money to survive. Oh, and here is a link to the website where you can buy the film. http://www.scrnland.com/p/bd/

While they were walking, Day noticed Magicon stop and freeze after a particular thing he said. He stopped and turned his head to look back slightly to see how he reacted and waited from him to catch up. When they had arrived at the flower stand and Day was awaiting a reply from Magicon. He watched his expressions carefully out of the corner of his eye as he examined the flowers. Clearly, there was something deeply troubling this pony. When he began to talk though, Daylight turned to face Magicon to give him his full attention as he didn't want to appear as rude. He listened carefully to what he said with a look of understanding and caring on his face. Magicon was starting to open up and trust him which he was used to as his kind and caring nature often triggered that reaction from good ponies. He knew what he had to say. @@Magicon "Magicon..."He began slowly. "You don't need to apologize to me as you have done nothing wrong by me. Misunderstanding is a natural and common part of a ponies life that so I do not hold it against anypony when they admit they were wrong. Nopony is perfect and we all make mistakes and misunderstand things sometimes. Even me..."He finished with a hint of sadness in his voice as he looked off into the distance. "I am glad to hear however that I can now count on you to be my ally, and possibly even friend."He said smiling looking back at Magicon. "They are something I do not have a lot of as when your constantly trying to do the right thing you seem to make enemies no matter what you do and where you go..."He trailed off, again with a hint of sadness in his voice as he looked into the distance again. "It can be... very lonely sometimes..." "As for your admission..." He said looking back to Magicon again this time with a serious expression. "I think selfishness and selflessness are two things that go hand in hand. You say that the reason you accepted Trixie's request was to show but her up but lets look at this more deeply. Why did you want to do that though? Was it to prove that you were the more powerful pony? Or that Trixie was full of it? Technically, they are both correct however all that matters is why YOU think you did it. Other ponies will drawn their own conclusions of your intentions based on what they know but you are different... because only you know what went on in your head and why you chose to it." "I'm assuming your thinking the same thing everypony else normally would if they witnessed what you did so why not listen to what I think then because I bet it will be different. I think... the reason you wanted to upstage Trixie wasn't for yourself... but for everpony else. You wanted to show to everypony that Trixie was not as great as she claimed to be, however, that came at a cost of making yourself looking greater then her, which is generally considered to be a act of selfishness." "I think you did it because you knew that Trixie was corrupt and didn't deserve to be held so highly. The problem is though... when you knock her off her pedestal something, or somepony to be exact must take her place... in this case it was you. "This doesn't automatically make it a bad thing though just because the former pony was bad. It all depends on what you do now that your up there. Do you continue to do as the last pony did, bragging and showing off your power just to be ridiculed for your arrogance as they were? Or do you change and act modest and respectful to others to show that you are indeed, a "good" pony? The choice is yours..." "The main problem you will face though is that others will expect for you to act as the one who did before you just because that is how things are. If you don't however and be different... it will take time but they will slowly change their opinions when they see that you are trying your hardest to be something different." Daylight then turned away from Magicon to look at the flowers again and let everything he had said sink in. After a minute or two, he decided to buy the plum flower he had been looking at. When he had paid for it and received it, he realised he didn't know how he was going to carry it. He didn't want to put it in one of his pockets at that would ruin the flower and he didn't want to walk around carrying it with his magic either as that would be tiring so reluctantly, he tied it around his ear. He knew he must look rather silly for a mature stallion to be wearing a flower like this but he didn't care. The flower wasn't for him anyway. Day turned back to Magicon and saw the perplexed look on his face and grinned. "Don't worry, this isn't for me. I'm just carrying it like this for the time being until we get back on the train because I don't want to ruin it. I think it's about time we started heading back anyway. Let's go." Daylight then started walking back in the direction of the train. He noticed that the other ponies that he passed were giving him strange looks when they saw him but he didn't care. He was feeling rather silly right now and was surprisingly okay with it. "It must be because of her..." he thought. "Magicon..." He started seriously. "Because you were honest with me it is now my turn to be honest with you as that how the rule of honestly goes. Or at least, my rule of honestly. I..." He suddenly stopped when he spotted a familiar grey Unicorn. "Get back!" He hurriedly said as he pulled them both to hide behind a nearby shop. It was Dusky and he would prefer to avoid a confrontation, epically with him looking like this. He could see Dusky standing not too far away and that he appeared to be talking with a aged earth pony who had some boxes nearby that he assumed were his. Day couldn't really hear what they were saying because it was too noisy in the street due to all the other ponies. He could see Dusky seemed irritated though and the aged pony confused which made him assume he had asked for help with moving his boxes and Dusky had refused in his rude yet complex way. "Dusky really knows how to not only refuse, but insult the other pony at the same time, while unintentionally confusing them with his complexity." He whispered to Magicon. Out of nowhere, a Pink Earth Pony with a proofed up pink mane and tail suddenly appeared and entered the conversation. He remembered seeing this pony around when he used to live in Ponyville but didn't speak to her much as he was quite shy back then. The look of surprise from both Dusky and the aged pony was the norm with Pinkie Pie. He remembered that much from observing her interacting with other ponies in Ponyville. He was surprised when he saw Pinkie start laughing and fell over to roll around on the ground to laugh. he had seen Pinkie do this many times but... he didn't expect that Dusky would have said anything funny to trigger that kind of reaction. "Maybe Dusky's secretly a comedian?" He said to Magicon grinning. "Though it's not that hard to get Pinkie to laugh though..." When Pinkie recovered she was back to her usual self however Day noticed Dusky's expression changed to one of complete confusion. It didn't surprise Day as Pinkie often had that effect on most ponies but they just got used to it. He managed to hear Pinkie shout out "Sugercube Corner" before shortly afterwards walking off in that direction if he remembered correctly. "Hmm... very strange..." he said pondering over everything he had just seen. "If ya not going to buy anything then would ya please move as your blocking my shop?" The owner of the shop suddenly said to the pair of them. "Oh, sorry about that." Day replied to him standing up. "Come on Magicon, it's about time we got back to the train and now would be the perfect time so that we don't run into Dusky." He said to him before walking off towards the train. The owner of the shop gave Day a funny look when he noticed the flower still tied to Day's ear but just shrugged it off and turned away. "Well... that was interesting. Seems like Dusky just met his match with Pinkie Pie then. They make quite the opposites those two do..." He said lost in thought. "Anyway, as I was saying it's time that I was honest with you. I... am actuality scared what's going to happen on the train even though I don't show it. There is something seriously amiss... I can feel it... and I'm worried that ponies might die..." He said rather slowly with the fear very apparent in his voice. "That's why... I can't leave now. I need to stop whatever bad thing is going to happen from happening. It's... the right thing to do. And I always try and do the right thing. Even if it's going to cost me..." He trailed off again. "The other ponies are going to look up to me as I'm the detective... so the job of figuring out rests heavy on my shoulders. I've felt this kind of pressure before but... not to this extent..." They arrived back at the train and entered it in the baggage car to see Vim again as well as Springer who was now conscious along with two other ponies he didn't recognize. "Come on, their probably waiting for us in the dinning car so we don't have time to talk to them." He said to Magicon before walking down the train in that direction. His voice and expression and now changed to one be completely neutral so he could hide his dread and fear. @, @@Key Gear As they walked though the train, Day said nothing until he he walked passed Key's room. He heard two familiar voices coming from inside. The two of them needed to be in the meeting too, so he stopped and knocked loudly a few times on their door before speaking loudly. "Key! Electro! You guys better finish whatever it is your doing in there and meet the rest of us in the dinning car! The meetings going to start soon!" Again, although speaking louder he used the same neutral tone of voice. He then gestured to Magicon to continue walking and put his hoof on the handle to the door to the dinning car to open it when he stopped and said something to Magicon. "Magicon..." He started slowly and without emotion while looking at the door handle. "Whatever happens, it reassures me that I know I can count on you. Thank you" He finished, but this time, a subtle but still noticeable hope in his voice. Everypony that was there when he left was still there other then Electro but he knew he was in Key's room with her. He walked up to speak to Lapis and looked directly at him. "Magicon and I are back now. There's just Key and Electro who are in their rooms but should be joining us shortly then we can start." He said without emotion and then preceded to sit down and waited for things to get rolling looking completely neutral. Inside him though, his emotions were having a party, one that he hadn't been invited to. He had complexity forgotten about the plum coloured flower still tied to his ear. -

Daylight looked at Ice closely. She seemed too weak to be able to move herself and had closed her eyes and fall asleep. They still needed to move her somehow though... "Hey Iron, could you..." He started but he didn't even to have to ask as she had already picked Ice up and and carried her further into the cave and set her down. Iron then leaned against Ice to protect her but he could see she herself was getting quite tired. @@Iron Wing "Get Some rest Iron. Don't worry as I'll keep an eye on you two as well as the newcomer" he said as he walked over to her. He had noticed her eyes keep darting back to Felix from Ice. He quickly looked at Ice as she suddenly awoke then but then fell asleep again just after. She really was exhausted and would need the the night to recover. Somepony else would have to take charge for the night. "If anything happens I'll wake you, but until then get some rest. I may not be able to fight but I still know how to deal with a tough situation" He said to Iron with a determined look on his face. He then turned away to check on Electro and Alex. They had taken up position near the entrance and were keeping busy by talking to each other. Satisfied all was well, Day turned to speak to the newcomer. @ "So Felix, what brings you into the forest not only at this time of night but in the current situation Ponyville is in? I assume you are curious about the winds and what is causing them. If so you could join us as we have been tasked with venturing into the forest to find the source of the wind and put a stop from it. Oh and don't worry about Ice, she just needs rest and Iron will take care of her." He said glancing over in the pair’s direction. -
"I understand that." Day said nodding. "I've only been to Canterlot once and only breifly for something I had to do and... I know exactly what you mean." He said with a straight and face. Before smiling again. "It's nice to see your able to make a new life here. It's a nice, simple and relaxed little town, but it could no longer provide me with what I required." He said shaking his head with a look of slight disappointment. "Ahh yes, now I remember you mentioning that to me how it was one of the things you loved." he relied nodding. He wandered who this Aurora could be as the name did not ring any bells but he assumed the two were probably friends. "In the park in the morning you say? Did you fall asleep there watching the stars like that night when we..." He stopped suddenly when he remembered that there were other ponies nearby listing to the conversation. Lucky Ice had also asked him another question. "Anyway..." he started off awkwardly. "You remember what I told you about Ponyville right? I used to live here before Manehattan but moved because left so I could better peruse my career as a detective. I just decided it was about time I came back to visit." he said shrugging. " I haven't been back in the five years since I left because I've been quite busy." He turned to face Alex when he heard him ask a question. Day was about to answer his question before Ice did first. Recalling what happened back then made him... uncomfortable as as something he would rather keep private. "Uhh... yeah. What Ice said." He started nervously. "I was doing some investigating at a snow cone stand as there were reports of ponies getting sick. I never did trust those lemon flavored ones..." He trailed off in though for a brief moment. "Anyway we met there, talked and basically enjoyed each others company while we uhh... did some things together" He said and finished with a sheepish smile to try and hide his nervousness. When he turned back to Ice he saw the sheepish smile she was making which only made him more nervous as he felt his heart to beat in his chest. "Umm... if your not doing anything... would you like to join me... I mean us?" He quickly corrected. "You can ask Aurora to come to as well. The more the merrier!" he said in a slightly higher pitch voice then usual.

Dave247 replied to Brook's topic in Media Discussion
I've been waiting for a 3D Pokemon for a very long time and now it's finally coming. The only Pokemon game I played properly was Yellow when I was young and since then when I tired the newer games they just didn't interest me like the first time I ever played. I think It's about time their making a Pokemon game on the 3DS as it's where Nintendo seems to slowly be pushing it's audience because I bought a console on day 1 but there's hardly been much titles that have interested me. I'm actuality interested in this game and hopefully it will rekindle a long lost love for Pokemon that I had when I was little. -

Daylight was surprised by Dusky's reaction when he had finished talking. He was uncertain about how what he said was funny as he had not said any jokes so it must of been something that he said that had pleased him... Watching Dusky closely, he noticed something had caught his attention once again, but this time for a much longer period. Daylight followed Dusky's gaze, to see Electrobolt walking though the dinning car headed for the caboose wearing what looked like to him a uniform that closely resembled the one he saw Spinger, the assistant conductor wear. Pondering on what Electro could have gotten himself into, he looked back to Dusky when he started to speak again. He started by addressing the arguments they had made against him, in a very well put and respectful manor, which was entirely the opposite of how he had spoke before. He started off with addressing the aged pony, which Daylight didn't pay that much attention to as he didn't understand the argument in the first place. Dusky then turned to him and began to speak. It intrigued him when he heard that Dusky had been following his adventures which he only saw himself as menial cases just so he could pay the bills. "Why would he be so interested in all things me? If he was purely interested in mystery's surely there would be other detectives in Equestria with more interesting stories to tell then mine..." he mulled over in his head. he couldn't put a lot of thought into that at the moment though as Dusky continued to speak. Dusky then followed that with a compliment regarding the last thing he himself had said to him. Daylight only politely nodded with a stern expression still on his face as Dusky got up to get him another cup of coffee. He smiled slightly at the thought that it appeared that he had taught Dusky something, but for he he knew he could just have been saying that and not truly believed it himself. Only time would tell if he did indeed learn anything. However, as they both admitted they were wrong what was it that he learned...? Dusky then sipped the last of his coffee. He looked down at his own cup, completely unsweetened and knew what he had to do. He picked it up and slowly took a sip fully expecting what was to come. As he swallowed, he made a face of pure discomfort but made sure it had gone down all the same. "This is going to take some getting used to..." He dreaded. Daylight shook his head and tried his best not to focus on the now bitter taste left in his mouth as Dusky said his closing statement. Dusky valued discussions very much, even if he had a strange way of going about it. It would take a pony with a lot of guts to not be offended by him in some way... Dusky began to talk with elderly unicorn again, but was distracted a second time by Electro walking back though the dinning car headed for the engine. This time Day noticed Electro had a set of keys attached to his uniform too, which Dusky mentioned was his. Daylight looked at him as he stared down at his empty cup. He seemed deeply troubled by Electro's presence as a conductor. He wasn't sure why but he began to feel... pity for Dusky as he just sat there. He was about to get up himself and pour Dusky a cup as he had done for him when two ponies entered the dinning car and one of them started talking to Dusky accusing him of giving the other passengers a hard time. The one taking was the bluish stallion he remembered from dinner and the show yesterday talking with Ambrosia but the younger filly standing at his side he had not seen before. Daylight facehoofed as he spoke. Somepony, probably Flow, must of told him what Dusky had been saying earlier. Although he couldn't really blame her this time this did not help the situation by coming and confronting Dusky directly. Because of Dusky addressing him he was able to catch the stallions name was Lapis., and that the younger filly was Asteria, who introduced himself as Lapis's assistant. She seemed very happy and chirpy, and was either uninfected or unaware by Dusky's general demeanor. Also by the way Dusky was speaking with Lapis they had conversed previously and most likely at great length for him to show respect like that to another pony. Before Day could say anything else though, Electro reappeared and this time spoke to Dusky directly, apparently delivering a message to him from Vim, the conductor. Day flabegasted at what the content of the message was. "Is Electro really that daft that he didn't think to soften it up a least a little bit!?" He thought. he was sure Dusky wouldn't take this well... Day watched Dusky as he sat there, completely stunned and shocked. He became worried when he saw a dark look pass over him, but it was only for a second before he remained the same cheerfulness he had earlier. Dusky got up, and politely said a goodbye but stopped to whisper something to Electrobolt on his way out though. He couldn't hear what was being said but he could tell by the expression on Electro's face it wasn't pleasant. Dusky then left in the same friendly way, Leaving Daylight frowning. He wondered what it was that Dusky had said to Electro but wasn't sure if he should ask. Lucky Ambrosia who had been standing nearby watching the whole thing asked instead. When he heard Electro say Dusky had threatened him, Day's from only intensified and he shook his head. He wasn't going to stand for this, and neither did anypony else for that matter it seemed as since Dusky had left Flow and Magicon had entered the room showing their support to Electro having witnessed everything. "What now I wonder..." Daylight thought still sitting in the same spot with all the other ponies standing around. His question was quickly answered though as he heard Lapis announce to the group that he was organizing a meeting, and for Electro to go and gather everypony who wasn't already in the dining car. Lapis seemed like the intelligent type to him so Day guessed he had something important he wanted to share with everyone. As Day got up, and saw Ambrosia move to the Kitchen to most likely prepare Breakfast. He looked down at his mostly uneaten food. He had to admit what Dusky had cooked wasn't that bad it was just too... plain and that bitter coffee taste still in his mouth... he couldn't concentrate sitting here in the dinning car with everypony talking so he decided he needed some fresh air. @@Electrobolt Day walked over to Electro to show his support to him too. "Don't let Dusky bother you Electro he's... a strange one he is and is not somepony who should be trifled with. You should watch yourself around him from near on you hear?" He said rather seriously to him. @@Bari Day then turned to Lapis to speak to him. "I'm going to go for a walk off the train so I can clear my head before the meeting. I assure you I'll only be gone a short while though" He said. he began to walk towards the door, when he remembered that he still wanted to speak with Magicon, and now would be the perfect time. @@Magicon He walked back over to Magicon so he could easily speak to him. "I'm going to be going for a short walk of the train, and I'd like it if you'd join me. I haven't gotten to properly speak to you since yesterday after... and you probably don't think much of me after not saying anything before you stormed off today, which I apologise for. We can talk about all this in detail as we walk." he said in a friendly way while smiling. He then turned and exited the dining car into the third Passenger car expecting for Magicon to follow. "So Magicon..." He began, but is interrupted and distracted by a loud familiar snoring. "Excuse me for a moment,,,"He said to Magicon. Day traced the noise to be coming from Key's room. "Hmm... Electro's in the dinning room so that must mean..." He said to himself as he quietly and carefully opened the door of room 9 to take a peak of who was inside. As he expected, it was Key, fast asleep on her bed with one of Electro's saddlebags there and her bed a mess of crumbs, and snoring loudly. Day then quietly shut the door so not to wake her. "Hmm... that's interesting... but what does it mean though?" he thought out aloud while rubbing his chin with his hoof. Day then remembered Magicon was standing there, watching and waiting for him. "Oh, sorry about that Magicon. Let's continue walking shall we?" He said as he turned and continued to walk to the front of the train. "So Magicon... I'm sorry for not sticking up for you but there wasn't much I could do as you stormed off before I could say anything in reply. I agree what he said about you and Flow was rather insulting which was why when you were gone while I was replying to Dusky I basically said nothing about that as there was no one left to defend and I didn't want to anger Dusky unnecessarily. There was just... too many things wrong about that part to correct" He said shaking his head. He stopped at this point, as they had reached the baggage car and the exit to the train. Day saw Springer lying unconscious on the floor with Vim standing watch over him. He had nothing to say to Vim at the moment so he just gestured to Magicon and stepped off the train. They walked in no particular direction around Ponyville at a slow pace "Now, about the coffee part... that was Dusky just being cryptic about conveying a point. Some ponies are like that, and not all have the thought process to be able to dissect the meaning behind the words. I believe I got the general idea of that part... but you should of heard the ramblings from that elderly unicorn after you left. Even that was too deep for me." he said with a slight chuckle. As they walked, Daylight thought he saw a pony that looked a lot like Dusky enter one of the store's in the corner of his eye but when he looked properly he saw nothing. He just shrugged it off and continued talking to Magicon. "As for yesterday's events... I don't care why you really chose to do what you did but the fact remains you chose to sacrifice your own energy to save Flow. That is the role of a hero, and a good pony, despite what Dusky might think. Not all heroes start off with a pure heart and a clean soul, some have the tough journey of having to discover what it is that makes them who they really are." He said seriously. Day then stopped at a boutique to some of the examine some of the flowers. "Hmm... this plum coloured one looks rather nice..." He said to himself. -
As he stood awaiting the door to open, he had a annoyed look on his face. But that suddenly changed when he saw who opened the door. "Oh... Hey Ice. Long time no see..." He said rather surprised trailing off into awkwardness. He remembered meeting this pony in Manehatten once during one of his cases and he thought he would never see her again. "Umm... don't worry about the dumping law. I kinda... made that up..." He said matching Ice's sheepish look while rubbing the back of his head with his hoof. "It was a block of Ice that did land in a pond anyway so... it should be alright other then the pond possibly overflowing when it melts. I just don't like it when I see ponies throw stuff out of their window when their too lazy to dispose of it properly as it can become a hazard to other ponies where it lands. Sugercube is the only exception to that though" he said grinning. "So anyway... what have you been up to and how did you end up in Ponyville? I thought you were going back to Canterlot for good? Never thought you to be a star gazer in charge of a observatory. I'm here on vacation from Manehatten and are just following some new friends that I made as I have nothing else to do here" He said gesturing his hoof at Alex and the others standing nearby.

I can see this RP still has a lot of potential but lacks direction. I'll speak with Alex privately later today to see what I can do to help.
