Aww indeed, but I get what you mean. 

I had to disable notifs from new status updates, because it was completely impossible to catch up with that. ...And having the notification box filled with "good morning" and "goodnight", that I was viewing around 10 hours later was nothing but spam. Replying "goodnight" after 10 hours doesn't make any sense after all.  It was really hard to keep track of more important things, such as threads. I'd love to set that back ON, because I keep missing stuff I'd like to see, but I'd have to unfollow maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany users and this is something I can't really do, because they'd find it offensive. So yeah, there's no perfect solution - either users will think I don't like them anymore or I'll keep missing important stuff, for what they'll think I don't care about them. 

So um, with that being said, I totally get why you did that and that's why I won't mind if anyone decides to unfollow me for some reason. I won't be even asking why, as I'll simply understand that.
