That is true. And the reason I say that is that his horn seemed to be the only surviving part of him at the end of that episode. I think it's major foreshadowing.
I noticed that, now that you think of it; who knows, maybe if Sombra does return (and depending what happens in ep11) Discord could have another role in the finale.
