      Maud got stolen by a one episode pony.

      StarTrix works because it has the best chemistry

      Sunburst is kind of boring as a character, but honestly Twilight works for him as a companion.

      I disagree - he will always feel inferior to Twi (and quite possibly to GlimGlam, regardless of her failures in the past) while Trixie would be a good match for him - both have something the other lacks, and as partners would be stronger together than apart.

      That said, if Sunburst had shown genuine affection for anypony, that would be a different matter, but he really doesn't.
