  1. Ladybugs are cute, even if a certain alicorn might disagree on that! But I guess butterflies would have to be my choice – their beauty and variety is unmatched!
  2. I mostly use Spotify these days. I like it for how easy it is to find what you want – no need to wade through various versions to find one that is actually listenable (unlike the far too common poor quality versions on YouTube and similar sites). And free access to almost all the music I want to listen to is awesome! As for other ways I listen to music... I still sometimes use YouTube or other such sites if Spotify doesn't have the song I'm looking for. I also listen to the radio or a music channel on TV sometimes, but it's more for background noise than anything I pay much attention to. I haven't listened to my CDs in a long time, as the ones I have are mostly available on either Spotify or YouTube.
  3. No, I don't... And in fact, I don't even know many people who do. Would I like to have one? No. I wouldn't want to be near anything so potentially dangerous, I know I'd be paranoid about something terrible happening somehow.
  4. I can whistle the normal way, and I'd say I'm actually quite decent at it (unlike with singing)! At least the melodies are recognizable. As for the loud whistle, I never learned to do that. And in all honesty, I don't care about that, as I find it very annoying – my ears hurt whenever someone makes that hideous noise.
  5. I often wake up a few minutes before the alarm goes off (in spite of getting up generally being very difficult to me)... but I could never trust myself to wake up completely without one. If I don't absolutely have to get up at a particular time, I won't bother with one – I'd probably just turn it off over and over.
  6. Alright, what is going on here?

I just came across an article on bronies published by Diggit Magazine.

    https://www.diggitmagazine.com/articles/bronies-fandom-stereotypes

I'd say it's quite an interesting article, though it's more for people outside the community. But one of the example images of the online community really caught my eye.. :ooh:

How in Equestria did that happen? :wau:

@CypherHoof Which is about 15 minutes more than I'd have expected! ;) I wonder who'll be the next to get theirs, it could be anyone. :ooh:

Well, not me because I ticked the "no publicity" box :)

And if I ever said "fluttershy" it wouldn't be by accident ;)

      @CypherHoof I hope it's someone else then! ;)

I'm glad I don't have to talk about butterflies often (especially in English)... I'd have to be especially careful not to say Fluttershy.

And yes, I was extremely close to writing "fluttershies" in that sentence! :yay:

  7. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: May it be an awesome one! B)

  8. That's a very nice and cute drawing! It's great to see some artwork of one of the most adorable ponies in season 9. And I also like the magic effect!
  9. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! And it's nice to see you still visit occasionally, even if you're no longer interested in ponies. I wish you all the best, my friend!
  10. No Babs Seed? But then again, I doubt she'd get that many votes... Scootaloo has always been my favorite. I pretty much always like cute characters with attitude. I also think her inability to fly and trying to cope with it makes her more interesting as a character. In addition, her voice fits her perfectly – and even her not quite perfect singing was rather endearing in my opinion. So all in all, she's quite a clear winner, and a top ten pony overall for me.
  11. I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed it, my friend! Here's to a lot more fun (which I'm sure will be had)!
  12. I do, pretty often actually. The worst parts of it are something I wouldn't want to relive, but all the good parts, definitely. Especially the times before I went to school were wonderful – I'd go as far as to say they were the best times of my life. This sums up my thoughts almost exactly. Just expressed a lot better than I would have.
  13. Thanks for the follow! :D

      You're welcome, my friend! :kindness:

Also, that DJ Pon-3 smilie is adorable! ^_^

  14. Raspberries are delicious! Redcurrants are also nice, and I always liked mandarin oranges too (though it's been a while since I last had them).
  15. I haven't watched either in years, but as a kid and in my early teens, I always preferred CN. The classic cartoons included in their schedule back then (especially the Looney Tunes) were the first thing on CN that I really enjoyed, then a little later I got into their original shows. While I did watch some of the Nickelodeon shows at times and liked a couple of them, they never quite impressed me in the same way for some reason... Also, the live-action shows never appealed to me, so that's another reason why CN was my choice.
  16. As much as I like Smolder, I still have to go with Spike. He has been there since the beginning, and while he may not always have been in the spotlight quite like the Mane 6, his impact on the series has still been very significant. I always thought his episodes provided variety to the series (along with the CMC episodes) and were quite enjoyable in their own right. And he has had some particularly wonderful moments in the later seasons, especially when he became friends with Thorax. While the trio mentioned here would probably be my three favorite dragons, I have to give an honorable mention to Scales – probably the cutest dragon in the series (and one of the cutest villains too).
  17. No! The smell alone gives me a headache. I also don't like the idea of putting something burning in my mouth (I guess I have a slight fear of fire), and the negative effects it has on one's health – quite frankly, it's something I don't see myself ever trying.
  18. I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it as much as I did. For me, it was one of the highlights in the first half of season 9. Definitely one of the most emotional episodes in the whole series for me (some of the scenes were just heartbreaking). Unlike some others, I've always liked the CMC episodes, but I'd go as far as to say this is my all-time favorite of those. It was great to finally see Scootaloo's family (both her parents and aunts)! Also some nice appearances from past characters like Skeedaddle (I wish Kettle Corn had appeared too). But the emotional effect of some scenes was what truly made it great for me. I'd give it a rare rating of 10/10.
