Woooow it's been way too long since I updated this thread last but here are some newer arts! A piece of one of my characters. He is a closed species from deviantART, a Space Cotton Mouth. A character design/piece I sold on deviantART, named Starkissed Satin. A request for someone on the Equestria Amino app of their bat pony boy, Frost Note And a cute little banner of Nightlore I did for my siggy on MLP Arena.

There's this minor character from Season 7 Episode 20 of FiM named Cattail. He's a bayou pony and I fell in love with him when I watched the episode. So when I noticed I had a G1 baby fakie lying around that had the perfect body type for him, I decided, why not? This is my first completed custom and I am completely stoked with how he came out! How He Was Made: - I removed the fakie's mane and tail completely, and then cleaned off the original eye paint with non-acetone nail polish remover - I painted the base coat with acrylic paint that I mixed to create the perfect color for Cattail's body, and the painted his facial features/cutie mark on. - I applied a bit of gloss varnish to his eyes and nostrils, and then sealed him with matte spray lacquer. - I used yellow yarn, combed out a bit to better resemble hair, for his mane, tail, and facial hair. His mane and facial hair were glued directly to him using low-heat hot glue, and his tail was put into the old tail hole and fixed to the inside with hot glue. I then used yellow thread to tie his hair into its style. - I made his vest out of green felt, and the symbols on it were hand-painted with acrylic paint. - His hat, bandanna, and hair ties were all made with painted craft foam pieces that were glued together. - His two necklaces were both made from painted elastic cord, and the brown one has three gold rings crimped around it.

Mine are technically blue (I'd consider them grey though, tbh) but I have central heterochromia so I also have what looks like a gold-ish ring around my pupil.

My $10 pony lot from shopgoodwill came in today and I was able to see who all I got! On top of that, I also visited my local antique store yesterday and got a pleasant surprise.First up, here are my G1s:L to R: Confetti, CF Snuzzle, Masquerade, PowderConfetti and Snuzzle are in great condition, especially Snuzzle since she has 0 marks and her colors are pretty bright! I think Snuzzle's tail might have been cut, but if it was it was a pretty clean cut so it's barely noticeable. Masquerade is sadly missing her tail but I'm sure can get her a new one, and aside from a few marks, she's otherwise in pretty good condition with no scratches on her eyes that I can see. Powder is pretty much bait quality but I don't have her yet so I don't mind.L to R: Shaggy, Medley EraserWhen I visited the local antique store yesterday, I found a few $5 bags of ponies. Mostly G3 McDonalds ponies, but this one bag had a baby Shaggy and an awesome Medley eraser that I couldn't pass up! Shaggy's only real big flaw is some rubbed blush on one cheek but that's easily fixable. The eraser is discolored but otherwise nice, and it was so neat, I've never found one in all of my pony collecting days so I couldn't leave these behind. Plus Shaggy is precious.Next we have the G3s and G3.5:L to R: G3.5 McDonald's Cheerilee, Tea Lily, Royalette, Tumbletop, random crown accessory.Cheerilee and Tumbletop are in great condition with no real flaws. Tea Lily is absolutely adorable, and aside from her hair being a little on the frizzy side, she's in great condition. A few of them have rubs but otherwise are great. I was super happy to get the four male ponies <3

I got a nice lot of ponies on shopgoodwill this morning for a pretty good price and I can hardly wait for them to get here! It looks to have a good amount of blind bag ponies, as well as an Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie, and a few others (including two G1 ponies that have been on my wishlist for a long time). Will definitely post pics when they get here and I can sort out who's who!

So I've had a bait G3 Rainbow Dash laying around for years and decided to finally make use of her! I'm transforming her into a G3 version of Apple Split, since apparently he's my new obsession hehe <3 This is my first custom so please bear with me, I know there are probably lots of flaws even in these early stages but I'm pretty happy with him! Everything so far has been hand-painted with acrylics. I'll probably be sculpting his mane and tail out of polymer clay and then wiring/gluing it on, since they have a distinctive shape that would be a little hard to replicate with synthetic hair.

Okay so Tales was a bit before my time as a kid but when I was little there was a pony site that had all the episodes uploaded, and my younger sister and I would watch them on repeat while playing with our ponies. I think we had all the songs memorized haha. Our fave episode was The Tea Party. Although there are lots of...ahem...weird spots of dialogue where they put lines over the wrong pony's mouth movements, I thought it was interesting and I still enjoy going back and re-watching them on occasion. It was sort of a novelty, since I grew up with G3s, to see male ponies. I wasn't really fond of the clique-ish behavior of the other ponies besides Sweetheart but at least she actually stood up for what she believed in and didn't allow them to push her around too much. And I had a tiny bit of an obsession with Teddy...okay no, that's an understatement. I had a huge obsession with Teddy. I drew lots of fanart of him and Sweetheart. I was kinda heartbroken when I realized they hadn't made an official pony of him, and I used to spend hours looking for pics of customs of Teddy, Ace, Lancer, etc. I still wanna make my own customs of them someday.

Hey there! I'm new but I figured I'd make a thread to post my artwork since I draw a lot <3 I'll update this/post replies when I draw more! Expect to see mixed media but mainly digital, and although I mostly draw OCs, there will likely be official characters here eventually as well! --- +New!+ A little fanart of Apple Split, one of my fave ponies! He's super cute, I adore his colors <3 First up we have my most recent piece, just a sketchy little headshot of my vampire pony, Nightlore, as I experiment with styles. I'm actually liking this style but we'll see. Next we have my ponysona, Merry Anvil! She's blacksmith-themed since I'm a blacksmith. And finally, taking a step back to two years ago (ouch) we have this older piece of Nightlore. It's painful to look at but it's the only fullbody ref I have of him until I can manage a redraw!

Hi there! Like the title says, I'm a gal from Oklahoma who's been in the MLP community for a long time but I just recently got into FiM. Applejack has long been a favorite pony of mine since I grew up with G3 ponies and collected G1 ponies, so to see her in FiM with such a well-written character is amazing. I love drawing, especially drawing my OCs *points to Nightlore in my avatar* so you might see my artwork around. Offline, I'm a blacksmith who loves swords, a member of Clan Donnachaidh (Scottish clan), and a proud horse owner. I own two 'real' ponies, an older gelding named Ringo and a sweetheart of a rescued mare named Dusty who I actually personally rescued from a bad situation, along with her baby who now belongs to my sister. I'm currently training Dusty and she's doing quite well! Well, guess I'll see ya around. Glad to meet y'all!
