Finally! It looks like environment canada is calling for a clear night on Wednesday and Thursday. Good thing I booked that week off!

I really missed the summer wind here in Australia. 

Sleeping is so hard when you can't stop thinking. At night, I can't sleep. In the morning, I can't get up.

This is like me every night.

Finally I got butterfly rank!

Telescope should be cooled down by now. Got my camera set up with the red filter for tonight. 

Hope Luna isn't too bright tonight. Uranus only shines at magnitude +5.7 (near limit of human vision)

It is incredibly difficult to image cloud details on Uranus.

Tonight, I succeeded. I am so excited!!  

I've been worrying so much lately that I haven't been able to enjoy the present. It's a tough life when you let your mind go rampant on all the different situations you can fail!

I found out Lithium battery packs don't care for the cold weather much. I kept wondering why my tracking platform was struggling. Gonna keep a backup on charge this time.  

I just dropped my pencil and it disappeared into another dimension. 

Some flowers in full spectrum light. When unfiltered, the Near IR component of sunlight dominates the color channels of the camera. The result is some weird colors for foliage. Red colors seem to be less effected.

Good morning, everypony! Here's the Near IR and color images of Mars from last night. Also made a short animation of the planet's rotation. I'm surprised I was able to get this much detail, considering that Mars' apparent size is only 10 arcseconds. It was 24 back in late July. 

Almost finished with the Uranus data. I'll post those in a little while.

This is extortion, Spyro didn't sign up for any of this.
