  1. Yeah, the CMCs were great in that episode. Since I believe the Mane 6 have done a lot of good together as a group, I'll just break up their best and worst actions because why not. Best Twilight: Fluttershy: Trying to help Flim and Flam in "Viva Las Pegasus". Applejack: Basically every moment she's Team Mom. Rainbow Dash: Taking Scootalo under her wing in "Sleepless in Ponyville". Rarity: Yeah, I'm sold on "Best Gift Ever!" Pinkie Pie: Does the Smile Song count? Worst Twilight: Showing obvious distaste for Starlight and Trizie's friendship in "No Second Prances". Fluttershy: Already mentioned above. Applejack: Everything she did in "Honest Apple". Rainbow Dash: Trying to stop winter in "Tanks for the Memories". Rarity: Forcing her friends to make dresses for her in "Rarity Takes Manehattan". Pinkie Pie: Bringing Fluttershy almost to tears in "Filli Vanilli". Technically, it did, since Cadance and Shining Armor appeared. I get what you're saying, but I was worried if those two would disappear forever after the finale.
  2. @Justin_Case001 Why is that "..."? My major issue was that the first part just built it up like a slice of life 2 parter, then did a complete 180 and crammed all the action in a 22 minute slot.
  3. True, although I thought it was worse of Celestia to do that. Her IDOL just abandons her in her moment of need. That was kind of bad.
  4. We truly have some great artists in our community!
  5. This action doesn't nessecarily have to be done by a character you find repugnant or awful, just an action by any character which you found terrible or completely unacceptable. Mine would be a three way tie between and If I HAD to rank these from worst to "best": 3.) Svengallop's action. 2.) Fluttershy's action. 1.) Sludge's action. Alternate: What was the best, most Nobel Peace prize qualifying action any character has ever done in the show? (this one might be a little harder).
  6. "Equestria explodes because Princess Celetia farted!" The second 44 minute FiM special! Title: Princess Butts
  7. A handful of these are minor examples, and the rest don't exemplify the traits I mentioned above.
  8. Okay, I get Season 6, I feel like they handled her character well in that season. In Seasons 7 and 8, though? The only episodes where she has those characteristics would be "A Matter of Principals" and "On the Road to Friendship".
  9. Okay, I'll give you that. But being power-hungry and a control freak were still major parts of her personality.
  10. How? In almost all episodes now, we don't even see a glimpse of her power-hungry, control freak persona. (Only in "A Matter of Principals" did we get that, but that episode sucked.) She's almost always now that empathetic counselling adviser, which is a role I never wanted her to fill.
  11. 2nd best season, I only thought Season 5 was better because it achieved more than I believe this season had. Season 7, after the underwhelming Season 6, delivered. I can't really say there was a truly sour episode this time, although "Triple Threat" was extremely forgettable. All episodes had something enjoyable, something meaningful, something that showed FiM existed not just to sell toys. (although that might be Hasbro's belief). This season was great, and it had me excited for Season 8.
  12. I think I like both equally. (haha equally) Which is funny, because I've never liked a finale and premiere the same in MLP: FiM, except in this season. I really liked Spike's role in "The Cutie Re-Mark", especially with how poorly he was handled in the season. I also appreciated how much the staff experimented with the ideas presented. However, I wish that it wasn't just Twilight and Spike exploring through those new worlds, I would have really enjoyed seeing the rest of the Mane 6's reactions meeting with their new selves. Quite a missed opportunity in my book. With "The Cutie Map", the Mane 6 all had things to do, and it was nice seeing their differing reactions to the village. The mood and tone was also a strong highlight. What I think fell flat in this one was how Starlight Glimmer was handled. The concept of her in general was good, but now look at her in Season 8. All original aspects of her personality washed away, instead of in Season 6, where she developed into a better pony, but kept her personality (which was one of the highlights in the season for me). Maybe that's a flaw for Season 8 instead of this finale, but I still wish they matched closer.
  13. Had a few highlights, didn't think it was as bad as people made it out to be. Still, definitely the most underwhelming of the 8.
  14. Agreed. Oh, and did I neglect to mention the time the show indirectly talked about conformity?
  15. The thing about Maud Pie is that I feel she's TOO perfect. I wish for once Pinkie could teach HER a lesson, that would be interesting.
  16. Considering AJ's parents are confirmed dead by the staff, Luna suffered from depression, and Chrysalis has LITERALLY KILLED BUNNIES (go to the first MLP: FiM to know what I mean) I'd say the show can get dark.
  17. This was by far my favorite season. The animation was phenomenal, and the episodes, for the most part, were amazing. Yes, Princess Spike sucked. Yes, What About Discord? is the shows most boring episode to date. All that aside, this season was next to perfect.
  18. Maybe he'll be like Accord, where he seems orderly but in that order is quite chaotic with his ordeals.
  19. I'm leaning towards Redemption. Not only does Sunset overcome her own struggles with redemption, she also tries to redeem others, as shown with Trixie (FF) or Twilight (LoE, FG). Also, her powers are mind reading, which is a power that can help her redeem others.
