  1. This episode is kind of similar to the previous one, they searched for the lantern and now they search for Sparky, and in both cases they don't find out it's Misty who did it. I hoped the last episode would push the story forward somehow, but it's really just more or less status quo. There are some emotional moments for Misty though, it seems like a preparation for her to join the good side in the future, and become the "Starlight Glimmer" or this series. Overall not a bad episode, but I hoped for more.
  2. I'm not sure if I like this one. It's just an overly complicated plot done in order to keep the main characters oblivious of the evil forces working against them. It has some good moments though, and Misty is adorable as ever.
  3. My update got duplicated for some reason, so have another AI generated image:

That's adorable! I'd almost think it was a young Celestia or something. :squee:

A bit too realistic. It's almost scary. :wau:

  5. It worked well for the Storm King for some time, and then it didn't. The loyalty of hired followers is a serious problem. I prefer to work alone (or with my changelings when I still could), even being a part of the Legion of Doom was a big challenge for me. Also we didn't have that kind of money. We had some traditions that involved lots of gore and violence. I'll spare you the details because it wouldn't be appropriate for this forum. Due to the loss of magic, I guess sending ponies to the moon or to Tartarus wouldn't work, so perhaps an old-fashioned dungeon would be a better solution. Because it's not only appearance or muscle strength. It corresponds to how much magic power I have inside of me.
  6. Cozy Glow wondered about the possibilities mentioned by Flurry Heart. "Hmm, why use a hot air balloon when we can both fly? Well, I guess it's more relaxing this way... I like painting too, like that banner I made when we were learning to work together with Chrysalis and Tirek... But I think discovering new magic is the best option, I always wanted to learn some magic, even though I'm a pegasus, but then I heard that the most powerful magic of all is the magic of friendship, and I focused on it. But learning other kinds of magic interests me too, so let's go to Twinkle Sprinkle... I mean, whatever your friend's name is."
  7. This is what I hoped for after the previous episode: more interaction with Misty (although I'm a little surprised Pipp didn't recognize her, because she was in that silly band in one of the previous episodes). Also the delivery of the lines from Opaline got better. Either that, or I'm getting used to it. Anyway, there's some interesting lore in this one and it ends in kind of a cliffhanger, when Zipp sees Misty talking to Opaline. I can't wait to see what happens next...
  8. An average episode for me. The main story is similar to "Magical Mystery Cure" and "A Royal Problem". The villain arc gets pretty interesting though, I hope for some interaction between Misty and the Mane Five in future episodes.
  9. This is my favorite episode so far. It was heartwarming to see Sunny discovering who she is and who she wants to be. Also that band with Sugar Moonlight and Misty in it is pretty hilarious. Not only inner demons, there's also Opaline...
  10. A pretty good episode, exploring the sister relations. The songs were good, and the villains did something for the first time. Ended with a suggestion that Opaline has changeling powers... I think it was a little out of character for Zipp though. She should have been a bit more cautious, and not go straight into a trap without thinking who sent them these messages and why. Especially the petal trail was something that should have incited some doubt in her.
  11. Weak, naive, subjugated by ponies, and not even having their own culture. Have you noticed that all their cultural "traditions" are just attempts (sometimes misguided) to imitate what ponies do? Well, that would go against the "accept me as their Empress" part, so there should be some kind of law (and law enforcement) to prevent this. I do indeed, and magic from ponies is the best to achieve this result. Physical training only helps me to stay in shape, but doesn't give me the extra edge...
  12. "Twilight? I wouldn't say I hate her, she was just interfering with my plans, so I took steps to get rid of her," Cozy Glow explained. She thought about the lesson. "And then you send letters about what you learned to Princess Twilight?" She asked half-jokingly, knowing the story about Twilight and her friends sending letters to Princess Celestia. "Or, since she is here, you can tell her in person... Anyway, wandering around Canterlot sounds good, and I want to meet your friends, so let's do it. Lead the way, princess!"
  13. They are important to me, but the most important thing is who they are. And who they are now is completely unacceptable. I imagine I'd mostly let the ponies do what they want, as long as they accept me as their Empress. I can drain magic from other creatures, but ponies seem to have the most of it, both in quality and quantity.
  14. "I think Twilight knows who I am," Cozy Glow explained, "and Pinkie Pie also seems to know, although due to her usual antics she's harder to read. It's possible they will tell the others, so my presence in Canterlot will be known, at least to the ones who were at the breakfast. I suppose Twilight decided that she will not intervene, and just let you try to reform me. But knowing her, she will also watch me very closely, which gives me less freedom than I hoped for. Anyway, I don't think we have any other choice than to play along and go with our original plan. Unless you want to talk to Twilight about this openly, which I don't recommend." After explaining her view of the situation to Flurry Heart, Cozy Glow went to more mundane matters. "So, what's next in your schedule for the day? Some lessons, I suppose?"
  15. Cozy Glow tried not to show any reaction to mentioning her by Spike, and asked him more questions. "So, what other kinds of creatures are in the school of friendship? Do you have Kirins, Zebras, Bat Ponies, or Crystal Ponies? I love Crystal Ponies, they are so sparkly!" She finished eating her pancakes, and wondered how long the breakfast would last.
  16. "Night Hooves, Night Hooves..." Rosy Thorn tries to remember. "Yes, I've heard about them. They were pretty harmless, doing some silly rituals to bring back a forgotten princess. But it changed recently, when a black unicorn took the leadership. He is crazy, I tell you, and I'm sure he is going to do something stupid. I haven't heard about an attack on the Princess, but it does sound like something he could do." "OK, I said what I know, will you give the bits now?" She looked at Kuya. "Or at least let me go?"
  17. Of course! I love eating cupcakes, singing songs, and seeing my friends happy! I enjoy simple things in life, like a good workout or a good night's rest. Not as much as draining power from ponies though. No.
  18. I think it's much better than the previous one. There is a real problem this time, and there are some unsolved mysteries, especially Twilight's glitching message and the tree (also it seems Sparky did something to it). The villains didn't do much this time, hopefully they will do more in the following episodes (I haven't seen them yet).
  19. I've only seen this one episode so far (I'm going to watch one per day), and I wouldn't say I like it that much. The main 'conflict' seems kind of 'artificial' to me, and also there is something in the way the characters talk to each other that seems a little 'off' to me. In the movie, the dialogue is very well done, and it makes it clear what the intentions of the characters are. Here, it seems like they communicate using 'half-baked' sentences, if you know what I mean. The interesting part for me is what happens on the villain side, but I still don't like how Opaline speaks, she doesn't sound like a believable villain to me. I like Misty much more though, I think she's going to be one of my favorite characters. Also, Misty wanting to get her cutie mark reminds me of Tempest Shadow wanting to get her horn back. (I also posted this comment on Equestria Daily, but it got 'detected as spam' for some reason.)
  20. She sure is, especially inside the holes in her legs... No comment.
  21. "We'll talk later", Cozy Glow whispered back. This was not a topic to be discussed at breakfast, better do it when they are alone. Cozy continued the small talk at the table. This time, she turned to Spike, and wanted to know more about teaching friendship to the Diamond Dogs.
  22. I would never accept anything like that! It would go against everything that's important to me. To be honest, I haven't given it much thought. I wanted to be the Empress, but I didn't have any detailed plans for the society. It makes me feel good. Really good. Being able to do anything I want is the best thing ever!
  23. Do I have to constantly explain who I am and why I'm here? If they catch me lying, it will not end well... When Twilight asked her a question, Cozy Glow stopped eating pancakes and answered: "Flurry Heart contacted me about participating in a friendship program, and me and my parents agreed. I arrived in Canterlot by train last night, and we had a sleepover in Flurry's bedroom." She looked expectantly at Flurry Heart, hoping she would help her explain what that program was about, and why she choose Red Rook to participate in it.
  24. The reason why I'm alone is because I got defeated by Starlight Glimmer and her gang. Distrust between the tribes wasn't my ultimate goal. I wanted to unite them all under my rule. Because my thirst for power was too strong to give it up.
  25. Cozy Glow didn't expect Pinkie Pie to be so inquisitive. Continuing to answer her questions would probably lead to exposing Cozy as a liar, so she was glad the subject got dropped due to Rarity's intervention. Still, it seemed like at least some of the participants knew who she was, or had some suspicions. This wasn't good, but at least Cozy was still free from her stone prison. "Sounds like you and Cheese are made for each other, I'm happy for you!" Cozy ended the conversation with Pinkie Pie and, acting as a humble filly, she started eating the pancakes without any toppings on them. Preoccupied with eating, she didn't start any new conversation, and waited for somepony else to bring up a subject.
