thank you.and yeah. ponies are quite big in their world. I'm not seeing any creatures that would be a so much bigger, except Tirek. but he feed on the power and grow taller.. so it's seem work for Celectia and so on Twi. maybe she's just too young to grow that high? or maybe it's the blood.. anywho.

Suddenly started thinking about something I saw on TV a long time ago, what happens if you multiply the dimensions of an animal (any animal) - say double the linear dimensions (length width height), the physical size is X2 BUT the body mass (and hence its weight) is X8 (EIGHT!) this is why elephants don't run very fast and ostriches can't fly. (In the program child's building blocks were used as a demonstration. Take 1 block, multiply all 3 linear dimensions by 2, you now have 8 blocks.)
Also the ratio of surface area to volume reduces, so large animals heat up faster than smaller animals. Increasing dimensions X2 halves this ratio (bullding blocks analogy, 1 block, 6/1; 8 blocks, 24/8 or 3/1). Whales solve both problems of weight and cooling by living in the sea.
Just thought I'd throw that in.
