  1. Hello Everypony!!!

    1. Ryuuko

      Ryuuko

      good morning, moony

  2. Hello there, thank you so much for the wonderful questions. I definitely enjoy to personally make more old-style pieces, i definitely avoid the more garish look of nowadays jewellery - i prefer to follow the structure of most ancient necklaces and headpieces and then put my own modern twist on it, it keeps its sophisticated appearance whilst also being functional. But i do put a lot of what my client requests into the piece, i just make sure they are aware that i refuse to do anything that i do not particularly like the look of. Whilst what i do is a business it is also my livelihood and what i enjoy to do, therefore everything i put into my work must come from my soul. I enjoy silver, a lot of ponies usually go for Gold but it is hard to combine the most thrilling of accents with such a bright and out their design, not to mention i personally believe Gold is overused and honestly makes a pony look tacky. However Gold may be necessary depending on the enchantment, you see not only do i have to keep the structure and overall aesthetic of the piece i also have to keep in mind how the elements mesh with each other and whether it will be a good combination for enchanting and casting magic on it. Usually i am pretty good at this - if i do say so myself. With wire work it is not what i use predominantly for the structure of the piece, i rather like to use silver wire to create accents and truly make the piece stand out. Framing my gems/jewels is one of the most important parts of my work. I used to use solder when i first started out but i was able to combat using it via learning the correct spells to mesh metals together without needing something between to do it for me. I love chocolate toppings, sound pretty basic but if you put some banana with some melted chocolate - ugh! It is brilliant. (I am now hungry) The longest time i have been without sleep was probably when me and my friend Moon got lost in a cave looking for some materials for work, i couldn't sleep, you see i have mild claustrophobia and being in those tight spaces for so long was truly setting it off. I hope i answered your questions correctly, - Len
  3. Hello there, a friend of mine suggested that I try one of these little trends... I saw her blog about it and thought maybe it would be a great way to pass the time. And I don't have any commission jewellery work as of right now so, why not? I don't think I am the most interesting individual but I received a few questions aimed at myself on my friends post. So here we are! I look forward to meeting you all. - Len
  4. I remember the day of when my cutie mark appeared vividly. It was a day like any other, a day which I never expected to have such importance, neither did I truly care for what it had to hold. I was so young for a filly holding so much stress and darkness. That day I decided to go to class, No-pony really noticed me, I was able to slip into the shadows and corners of the hallways effortlessly without remarks and horrible words being thrown at me. It felt good not being noticed. Due to how much time I had taken off from school and the usual time it takes for ponies to actually mature from finding name-calling completely riveting, I became irrelevant. And it was the best thing that happened to me. My first class was drama, I never had much care for the arts, but I always loved to write. That's when it hit me, I could actually pass this class if I tried hard enough. At this point i didn't care for my grades, I didn't want to go anywhere, I didn't see myself doing anything, but it was a personal challenge. I knew this would be easy enough to pass. I looked on at my classmates as they battled around ideas for a script, in all honesty their ideas were truly comical. That's when I built up the courage to step in and put in my own input. By the end of the day i set up an elaborate show, at first no-pony seemed interested in watching what we had to display, at first i was disheartened. That's when I had an elaborate idea, I was a late bloomer, playing with figures and toys until I was predominantly late into my more mature filly years - but I always had brilliant imagination, with my writing and creations I mastered an easy spell of illusion that I could cast for myself to see. But what if i could cast it for everyone to see?! I could turn this play into a masterpiece. So that is exactly what I did. The props on staged danced around according to the script, I was even able to fathom spells that created props to match the play in detail. Every-pony stopped to watch the show. I was in control, Aside from other ponies acting, it was my spells that had them interested. By the end of the show, I was met with applause, and upon my flank appeared a small galaxy with little planets decorated on it. A fantasy-esque depiction of the little worlds and stories i create. I made a small group of friends in that drama class, but none could fill the void that Dandelion created. But at least i felt comfortable, at least I felt like i could finally be myself. I graduated school at least, with top-marks in my literature and drama classes, a spark into a new beginning of what was yet to come... Writers Notes: This Chapter is a lot shorter than the last, I apologise for my lack of creativity for this part of her story
  5. It has been way too long since i've wrote! Loved creating the first chapter to Moonrose's story!

    >.< I need to write more...

  6. From when I was a filly, I never had much hope for where I would end up, what I would be or even How I would be... it was all but a mystery, shrouded in my constant self deprecation and overall crappy life. The beginning of my life wasn't what i hoped for, nor did i really have much choice in. My mother was constantly in and out of jobs, she was always a dreamer, quite literally. Her name was Rosemary Dreamer, she was a Pegasus who earned her special talent in weather control, but she always wanted something bigger than just basic weather control. She dreamt of elegance and riches, a luxury style of life that with the way she lived would never be available to her. On the other hoof was my father, Astral Specter, a larger Unicorn who had a gambling addiction - when my mother had a job, he was gambling away our bits and most of the time losing. Ironically he earned his cutiemark in bar-tending, but lost his love for this when he started trading away our life resources. I was a single child, raised in poverty. Living in Canterlot with no bits proved difficult, and the constant bullying and torturous remarks stayed with me for a long time. Although there was a silver-lining. "Come on! it isn't that hard" The Orange mare exclaimed "What are you talking about, I can't do that! You may be great with your fancy potions but I have no clue what I'm doing" I muttered back to her. Dandelion Heart (more commonly known as Dandy) was one of the first ponies in this stuck up city that showed me true friendship. She came from a sophisticated background, with everything she desired. Most importantly parents who owned up to their responsibilities of being an actual parent. But she was unique, in so many ways. She was humble, creative and incredibly intelligent. She had passion, desire, and most importantly she was kind and not judgemental of ponies in anyway different from her. On this particular day, it was cold and wet, I was curious as to why this gracious and stylish mare was so comfortable getting her beautiful gowns muddy, but I didn't question it. We were assigned science homework, my least enjoyed subject. It was common place for us to get into pairs and work together to solve the problem of what our teacher set for us. This time, plant growth. "Trust me, it is easy, you just follow the steps and you will get results, i promise." She smiled toward me, a hopeful grin that comforted me but it just wasn't enough. "I'm going to fail Dandy, this just isn't the subject I can overcome." She shook her head, flicking her tail in annoyance. Her Blonde mane was wet and stringy over her face, her wings puffed up for protection from the frosty wind. Dandelion excelled at anything science based, her strengths were in ecology and almost anything plant related. It was very fitting for the homework we were assigned. She was the first in her class to get her cutiemark, one day her mother grew tremendously ill and was on the brink of death. With a few weeds, mixed together potions and flowers - her mother bounced back and survived the mysterious illness, her cutiemark appeared right after this, In my opinion, I think Dandy would be a brilliant nurse, but her talent was much more broad than just potions that made you better. She could create hybrid plants, magical ones and enchanted ones that could do all sorts of things for a pony. I knew that one day she would make a business selling her creations to medical ponies or wizards in need of ingredients. "Come here, let me show you" She sighed, pulling the book toward herself. She scowled at the page and let out a groan. "No wonder it isn't working for you, these steps have it all wrong. This isn't the conditions you can grow a frost rose in!" She shook her head and threw the book behind her. "What do you mean?" "This book is outdated, a frost rose isn't to be grown in cold weather - that is the irony of this plant, you grow it in almost boiling conditions with a little bit of enchanted water potion, mixed with some stardust oil, and wallah! You get yourself a beautiful little frost rose!" she grinned, writing down a step by step tutorial on a piece of scrap paper. "Oh! Well... That makes sense, I'll give your method a try." my voice sounded weak, almost doubtful. "Do not fret MoonBunny! You will pass this assignment... If you follow my step by step instructions of course." Apart from my late grandma, Dandy was the only other pony that called me by this nickname, when I was younger I hated this silly little nickname, as I grew older it became a part of me. When I returned home that day, I tried the instructions she created and of course, she was right. I passed my assignment. It wasn't long before Dandelion moved away to Ponyville, her father made a business deal which resulted in their family needing to live so far from me. I was alone again. The bullying grew worse as most ponies felt it was hilarious that I was alone. I started skipping school, it wasn't as if my parents noticed - they were too busy being impractical and downright stupid to care, my grades slipped. Everything felt like nothing, no hope reached my heart. I didn't know what else to do...
  7. i was lucky enough to meet my special one when i was 14, but in complete honesty - relationships are hard work, the lust dissolves when real stress starts to take effect and you and this person will go through the worst of times and the best of times. People believe that having a relationship fits the last piece of their puzzle but that is so indefinitely wrong, having a relationship is like its own additional puzzle. It doesn't complete you, it adds on a little extra and gives you experience that truly changes you. Everyone is different, every person has their own unique personality. I don't believe in fate, as in 'there is someone for everyone' - relationships don't just happen nor do Two people entirely mesh with each other. Its what you choose to commit to, what you love about a persons unique and different personality that makes you want to spend your entire waking life with them. Working on the love for yourself teaches you about the unconditional love you will have for your partner, i am still learning to love myself, and every day it teaches me how to love my partner more and more and most importantly why i love him. Just remember that nobody is perfect, and no person will be what is deemed perfect for you, clashing is almost always a certain with everyone, as is disagreements. But that is also the reason you love that person is because they are there own person, inspiring you to be truthful to yourself. This is coming from someone with almost a 5 year long relationship, so i do have the experience and knowledge to be able to say this
  8. Does anybody else ever get the urge to touch fire with their hooves? Just me?! I should create a spell that protects my body from harm so i can bathe in fire the same way we can bathe in water, every other element is safe for use, fire should really get more love if you think about it!
    No? Just me?

BLEH, i should really get some sleep.

      Stone Cold Steve Jobs

My buddy can make a fireball with his hand if you give him a lighter and he's fast enough.

      Sleep well!

  9. Lenus smiled in response of her friend and nodded in agreement. Of course, Lenus rarely ever spoke a word, if not but 'Mhms' and other unintelligible responses. It was something she always dealt with, her mutism posed if not anything but a continuous judgement from other ponies - but it was her, it what made her comfortable, unique and overall Lenus. Len looked around, looking over at the Princess, she knew this was completely extraordinary for her friend, Moon preforming in front of royalty was new and special, indeed a conquest which could never be forgotten. "I cannot believe the Princess herself enjoyed my show, this could propel my shows into unimaginable ways, could you imagine! Moonrose on tour?! And with you by my side, it would not fault from being the very best!" Moon exclaimed. Lenus smiled toward her, signifying her agreement, she reached into a pouch that was wrapped around her waist and pulled out a small daisy, placing it in the mane of Moon, signifying a 'well done'.
  10. Finishing up the show resulted in her out of breath and tired, she trotted slowly down the stairs of the stage and collapsed into a small hay-chair She smiled triumphantly, hearing the crowds cheer in delight, a feeling of success wavered over her. Moon looked around at the crowd, noticing the Princess was in the crowd, she giggled to herself, she noted how happy Flurry Heart appeared, it was a victory for her. She slowly got the her hooves, gathering some energy, deciding it would be best to fill herself up on some Crystal Faire food she slowly trotted into the crowd, some cheered at her, others told her how amazing the show was. "Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it" She managed to exit the swarm of ponies congratulating her and rushed toward Lenus, the pony who stood on the outskirts of the crowd. Moon smiled a cheesy grin, pulling her friend into a bear hug, tightening her grip. "Did you see that! Len! That was one of my best shows yet!"
  11. An interesting video about the Brony Fandom, been sat with snacks watching this for the past hour, if anyone needs some decent background noise/1 hour to pass, check this out.

  12. Oh! How cute! Do you enjoy Beauty And The Beast? I think it is a wonderful story, - MoonBunny
  13. I read everything and anything!! I love fantasies and spell books ! - MoonBunny
  14. im a blank flank with about 4 or 5 point until my next i thinks
  15. I saw an idea that she pushed her counterpart into the pony world, but i don't know what i think of that. Of course there is the usual theory that she trapped her somewhere.
  16. This conversation has already been raised a lot but what is everyone's personal head-cannons on what happened to her, where she is and what the future of Two Sunset Shimmers could hold. Personally i haven't really thought about it but i would love to see a rendition of Sunset Shimmer back as a pony in Equestria.
  17. Oh My! I would love too!
  18. Hello Rarity, We have multiple layers to our business. I am an extremely proficient jewellery maker, thus i help with the prop making of Moon's plays and her other little ventures regarding her shows. I sell jewellery both enchanted and not. I have necklaces that have healing properties, head pieces that promote confidence and luck, it all just depends on whoever commissions my work. Both me and Moon had travelled Equestria and on our journeys we would put up shop. Recently we have settled into the Crystal Empire, purely for the amount of crystal availability... oh and Moon wanted to go back into studying. I think a clothing collaboration between us both would go nicely, what do you think Miss Rarity? - Lenus
  19. What is your favourite city in Equestria? - MoonBunny
  20. Lenus enjoys enchanting, she is amazingly good at what she does so she tries to teach me, with emphasis on the TRY - I am not the best with such advanced spells, although i do TRY... haha. We enjoy astronomy together, reading together, overall just being in each others company. Sometimes we go on cute little tea outings (Lenus is a major fan of tea, i am more of a coffee pony myself) - we are also business partners so we have a lot of work to do on a day to day basis! - MoonBunny
  21. Nope! But she is classed as my sister, we met a few moons ago when i travelled into Ponyville, we met on the outskirts of the Everfree forest. We instantly connected considering we are both travellers and have been bonded since! Sisters not by blood but by loyalty and love, I LOVE YOU LENUS!! - MoonBunny Love you too sister.
  22. Hello, i didn't expect to have a question for myself but i deeply appreciate it. 'Lenus' derives from a Celtic god of healing as does 'Epione' - My zebra family gave me this name after they found me. t'is quite a coincidence i suppose that my special talent developed into being a mare of special healing magic. Usually my friends just called me Len. Thank you for the question, - Lenus
  23. Hello Princess Flurry Heart, My birth name is Moonrose Coella, 'Coella' roughly translates to Rabbit... My grandma when i was a little filly used to call me a little bunny as i was always full of energy, really excitable and 'hopped' around. She passed a way when i was young unfortunately but she lives on in my memories! My friends started to call me MoonBunny and thus i adapted it into my everyday name, but it is actually just a nickname! - MoonBunny
  24. I do! I can project my imagination into the minds of accepting ponies, and i can also project it in physical reality, it indeed helps with putting on plays similar to your amazing shows! I must say I've always a fan of your shows, i love your integrity and devotion and how no matter what you always stay true to yourself, KEEP BEING AWESOME TRIXIE! - MoonBunny
  25. Hello! I am currently studying defensive spells and healing! I'm not the best in this however. I developed my interest in these types of spells when i met Lenus a few moons ago, she is brilliant in what she does and ever since i have been interested. i also have classes in astronomy, which is my own special interest. - MoonBunny
