    I always feel the urge to research someone's OC when I see them kissing/hugging/flirting/etc. with one of the canon ponies just to make sure that the character would be a decent companion for the canon pony involved. It happens most often when I see a guy with Twilight Sparkle...

      As an author who's paired my OC with one of the Mane 6, I always wondered what people thought when I paired Shadow with Rainbow Dash in my stories. After some asking I've been told it feels like a genuine relationship. But I've always felt like relationships with them could never last.

    I passed my final exam for firefighter 1 today =) I got high marks from the instructors for my search and rescue skills, my entire team was commended for our ability to advance a hose line into a building; and I quote "That had to be one of the best and smoothest progression of hose I've seen in years" I hate bragging but DAMN I am good at what I do.

      I think so too. But it is different for me. Normally I'm that guy that lurks in the shadows. Popping in and out mostly unnoticed. Meeting people and making friends is just never a priority. (And that seems odd in a place like this.)
