    my hair has been red, green, blue, purple, blond, and black! right now it is back to its natural brown, and i don't mind it.

    my first year of high school was very depressing, as was the second. now i am relatively content with how things are going (still don't drive or have a job tho). i don't have many friends at school (most of mfriends go to a different school), so i mostly fill my day with just getting my work done, drawing, looking at ebay, or watching youtube videos. high school is just one of those things i would like to be done with...

    in some aspects, yes! however i cannot say for certain as the "scariness" hasn't fully started yet at the place i'm at in the book. one thing i like about the book is that the concept of "shining" is elaborated on and explained a lot better, whereas the movie leaves it pretty ambiguous. also the characters' backstories are fleshed out a lot more.

    i'm half-way through The Shining ! i am thoroughly enjoying it so far, it is so different from the 1980 film...
