Thank you for your compliments, I worked very hard on coming up with Beat Shock's color scheme. But one thing... BEAT SHOCK IS A GUY PONY.

Brisineo is your brother? Cool! You and your bro's vectors are nifty! :3 Anyways, I'd say start with whatever works! What program do you use for vectoring?
I use a program called Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI. It's not the greatest, and can get on my nerves at times, but it mostly gets the job done.

Yes, Brisineo is my older bro, and I am still trying to get my vectors as good as his.
I use Inkscape for my vectoring, but it does not do well with special effects. I tried using Inkscape to make (kind of) a wallpaper HERE: http://mlpforums.com/topic/45352-beat-shock-oc-vector-experiment/#entry1070872 It didn't turn out that well for me.

Yeah, I've never used inkscape before, so I wouldn't know... 
But anyways, I've also never used Photoshop, but I think a lot of stuff translates over to it from my program. But if you don't have anything like that, I've heard that Gimp can be a pretty good program. You might wanna try a Photoshop free trial, or something, for a more full-featured experience.So, what kind of wallpaper are you going for?

It's not based off of a Micheal Jackson song, it's just similar to his style. Although sometimes, I think of "Smooth Criminal" when I sing it.

Mine is a work in progress (need a good recording microphone and FL Studios). This song I'm making is an acoustic/piano/jazz/Micheal Jackson type song. Of course, you can't really imagine what it would sound like without hearing it... Chorus: After I came up with that, I couldn't sleep at all through the night. I want to make the song SO bad, but whenever I start making a new song, I get a writing block, and the tune just dies... Oh how popular I would be if I had completed one of them...

What's interesting, the method I gave you, or the lyrics for the song I'm writing? Oh, I also forgot to mention. It takes A LOT of determination. Try to think deeply into what your writing, unless it's just a verse. I say you make the song casual-cheerful at some points, and very emotional at others. That's what makes a great vocal song (I think?). Well good luck anyway!

THIS is a big issue for me. I always have trouble coming up with lyrics, unless if it's the chorus. I think up some crazy tunes in my head, but I'm never able to make them on my computer (Probably because I have Garageband instead of FL Studios). I just think of lyrics while I'm in bed, having a paper and a pencil near by. If I force myself to think hard enough, it just comes out. It takes determination. (I could post some of the lyrics for the song I'm writing about Rarity if you want)

When I try to change the head of a mare's to make my OC's, it comes out very weird. Like it's not show-accurate at all, and it doesn't look anything like what I originally wanted. Also, the body proportions for a stallion's is too different from a mare's for me to convert. I guess I just don't have that skill. I will also try to focus more on my line thickness. I admire your critiquing. I critique harshly even when I suck myself. I got this from my dad (don't know where he got it): "The best way to learn, is by teaching." When you tell others how they can improve, it clears your perspective on your own work, making you better. I should start paying more attention to your art threads, so then we can constantly critique each other to become vector experts! I sent a request to the vector club a week ago and they haven't responded yet... I hope they saw it. Oh boy, I thought more people would know... ATTENTION EVERYPONY: This is a trace-over vector from MLP FiM Season 3: Ep. 7, just with my OC instead! I am not that skilled... Here is the original picture I vectored from: I seriously thought everyone would know what that came from. Sorry. <_<

Yes, Rarity has become a lot easier to vector for me, but I just can't get my OC down. I have a lot of trouble piecing together the different poses of Beat Shock, because there aren't as many male-pony references out there (where there are literally thousands of mare vectors). Could you also tell me how I can improve upon these mistakes? I knew shipping my OC with a mane 6 character would be frowned upon, but my love for Rarity is way more important than the approval of others. Plus points for me, I ship as I please, and haters gonna hate! @@Motion Spark, You're the reason why I can't sleep at night.

Hey guess what? MOAR BEAT SHOCK X RARITY SHIPPING!!!!! I know this is my second topic today, but I had too much time on my hands (over 7 hours) so I made this. I was bummed out when I heard there was going to be no Rarity episodes in season 3, so I just had to cheer myself up! (Btw, my best vector EVER)

I was just recently experimenting with Inkscape. I wanted to make a vector that kinda looked like a wall paper, so this isn't suppose to be very show-accurate. Nah, Fox news isn't liberal. It has liberals on it sometimes, but it's mostly a biased-right leaned channel. Bill O' Reilly and Sean Hannity are HUGE Conservatives, and they have their own shows on Fox. If any news channels are liberal, it's MSNBC, CNN, and ABC... And about more foxes... the show 'Red Eye' from Fox has random-cute videos of different animals doing funny things. I have seen quite a few foxes in those videos. My favorite is the one when the foxes are jumping on the trampoline! Rarity is best pony for me, and my older bro thinks Celestia is best pony. Maybe you are right about that!

Let's see... -I thought Justin Bieber was cool a few years back (when he peaked in his fame, and everyone hated on him). -I HATE Disney channel's sitcoms. -I never liked anything from McDonald's. -I enjoy the Twilight Saga movies (excited to watch Breaking Dawn PII with my mom). -Karate is USELESS and Kung Fu is AWESOME. -I am a top notch conservative, I always listen to Rush and Hannity, and Fox News is my favorite channel. -I don't believe in gay marriage (BIG one there, sheesh). <_< -Global warming is FAKE. -Michael Jackson was my roll model. -I am a Mormon. -I hate rage face that goes; "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-". -I hate basketball, football, soccer, and almost any sports that only involve one ball (Parkour is awesome because it takes two). . .. ... I just got an android taplet! I'm typing with it right now! I also got winter gear, random clothes, two sweet nerf swords, and a freaken awesome microphone! Yeah, this Christman was brst holiday.
