My recording setup is a little wonky because I installed stuff that I knew would mess it up when I was trying to rip that clip of MLP in the Super Bowl ad. Basically, if I have to turn off or restart my computer, I have to go through this annoying ritual of restarting 3 - 5 times well reinstalling the recording components each time. That and some of the folder links are a little weird from just refreshing windows many times.

I can safely say that Windows 8 isn't half bad as a gaming OS. All of my limitations are due to my cheap hardware. I had to skim wherever I could because I built my rig when I was in college so the budget was pretty tight. I would have used Ubuntu but games weren't coming out on it then. Since I had also just picked up a new laptop, I got a discount on Win 8.

Since it was already $40 at the time, my $25 discount made it 15 bucks. So I saved 92.5% on my OS by taking the plunge with Win 8. I was very concerned but - like I said - the budget was tight.

My new job does let me go ahead and go back to 7 for $10 but I've already got a complicated system of programs and file paths that reverse upgrading (because I do agree that 7 is superior to 8 so actually it's not a downgrade) would just not be worth the time and effort.

Season 3 had its moments. I only enjoyed 4 of the 13 episodes. Compared to the two seasons before it, it was very lackluster. And 4 episodes to carry me in between seasons? Hell no. Yeah, I think we can all agree Season 3 wasn't that great.

I do emulators for old school stuff. Like I run a snes emulator because the XBox controller has a very similar layout to the snes controller. But yeah, when it comes to games I really love like that one, I prefer to play it on the actual console.

Well it doesn't normally get this cold in Weatherford, but when it gets cold, there's usually snow or ice. Last time we got an ice storm and there was about three inches of ice on my car! I needed to get a CD out of there and it was frozen shut! xD

oowh I had a gamecube back then. With mario kart which came shipped with a free legend of zelda collectors edition including both the original NES version ocarina of time and majoras mask (so actually way cooler then mario kart double dash)! of course back then I never realized the complete awesomeness of that >.> so I ended up never playing it much

I went out into the hall to try and figure out where the sound was coming from. Unfortunately I haven't spent enough time with the dolphins to truly know their ways with sonar. More training is required.
