Seriously though, it's so simple to just write in to a company's legal department *in person* before embarking on a project and getting black and white permission for the go ahead.. Mr. Flamingo1986 heading the Double Rainboom episode had the foresight, no one in the entire FiM team raised the issue at any point of time?

That's like smoking weed and then saying "I didn't know that was illegal" when you get arrested...

As it is, Hasbro turns a blind eye on majority if not all of the fan content out there, I don't see how much more lenient they can get...
