    I feel like I'm the only one who thought ep100 was awful. Nothing happened, it was just 20 minutes of fanservice.

      If nothing happened, then the episode would've returned where it started. The plot exists, and many of the references have storytelling purpose.

      That was the point. Fanservice. To appreciate the fans. It was a huge milestone for the show so...why not? We the fans are the reason it got that far. Not sure why anyone would hate the fact that they completely acknowledged us and pretty much dedicated an entire episode to us fully, but to each their own I suppose.

      Fanservice and pop culture references are nice and all, but they can't carry an entire episode.

       

      Why not simply fit more little bits of fanservice into more episode? Fans are acknowledged, but you don't have episodes like this one. I don't hate the fact that they did fanservice, I dislike an episode that is nothing but fanservice and references.
