Because he rarely updates and it's assumed everyone in the fandom knows of him. His stuff is few and far between, but always quality.

yeah, popularity-wise one could call him the Skrillex of the brony musicians: high-quality production levels (actually sound pretty similar instrument-wise), but very rarely seem to show anything off. i dunno if this applies that well to this scenario, but it seems to work well for the most part.
