Autumn looked up from his work when he overheard Gizmo. He didn't know the pony well, but like most of the ponies of the stable he had seen him around from time to time. "That is a good question. It could be anything. Celestia and Luna could have created a paradise outside, or it could be just an empty void. Who can really say?" Autumn was alway wondering that very question. One of the reasons he loved reading so much was because it gave him a chance to escape from the same bland, grey walls of the Stable he had seen for his entire life. What is it like out there?

I personally don't believe anything will happen on December 21, 2012. It was either an estimation on how long each age of man is and a guess on when the current age will end, some sort of rare astrological event, or just when Quetzalcoatl is prophesied to return. Still, I wonder if society can change or not.

Autumn sat down with his lunch, but his mind was on other things. I told them I wouldn't make a very good teacher. First day and the students already seem like too much for me to handle. He brought up his calender on his Pipbuck. I have no idea what to start with. An entertaining short story might be good, to let the kids see books as more than just homework. But then again, the epic will take forever, and I need to get them started on it right away. He sighed. I knew I should have been an archivist. (Out of Character: I have a quick question for Authetius. Was there any experiment conducted with this Stable that we should know about, or will we find out latter?)

Just to let you know, I have never played any of the Fallout games. I have read Fallout Equestria, but haven't read the side stories (just started Pink Eyes and will start Project Horizons soon). Also, I'm used to RPing a Pegasus. This is my first time playing as a Unicorn.

I think we all have a little O.C.D. in us. When I walk on tiles or carpet, I always look for geometric patterns. When I look at wood, I always look for faces and other pictures in the grains. When it rains, I watch the raindrops to see which ones will devour the others. I clean and organize some things, like my backpack and my desk, but leave my room a cluttered mess. When I eat, I don't like my food to mix (except some exceptions like corn and mashed potatoes. Then I mix them together). I am never satisfied with how I organize my bookshelves. I am always at war with myself over certain things. "Should Narnia be in Fantasy or Classics? What about Tolkein? Ferienheit 451 is a classic. Should I put other Bradburry books in the classics, or put Ferienheit 451 in the Sci Fi?" I am constantly rearranging my bookshelves. I remember when I was younger, I had some of these things that I grew out of. I would imagine the car was staying still, while the wheels turned the world. I thought the clouds were fixed in place in the sky, and that they just turned at a different speed than the planet. I had this rediculous idea of mapping the clouds of the sky.

I had a rediculous idea earlier today. Feel free to ignore this topic or just delete it, but I thought I might share my idea. We all know that the Mayan calender ends on December 21, 2012. Mayans believed that the Earth had gone through several ages (4 I think), and another age will end on the winter solstace of 2012. Some believe this means a cataclism will happen, yet others believe it will be some great paradigm shift. Some believe it will be when we make first contact with alien life, and others think it will be when the rapture will happen. Now here is my rediculous idea. What if we, the brony community, are the paradigm shift. I don't mean that the entire world will become bronies of course, but what if our ideas of friendship, love, and tolerance begins to spread? Maybe one reason we are so willing to like the show is because we long for a better world? Maybe modern people are ready to change society, and give love and tolerance a chance? The way I see it, us bronies start doing good in the community. Charities, random acts of kindness, and just general goodwill towards humanity. People start to take notice, and start helping others too. It becomes a snowball of pay-it-forwards and kindness. Humanity takes a step towards peace. I know it is a rediculous idea, and hopelessly optomistic. I know that people will never lose their dark sides, and that kindness towards others can only go so far. But what if enough people are willing to be better? Now please tear apart my idea as much as you can. I am not used to being optomistic.
