I figured, I'll wait till its over and then watch season 4.

Same reasoning here. Since the end of the season is nigh Imma start watching now. There's no way I'll catch up before the last episode airs in a few days (if I heard right) so I'll have plenty of episodes to keep me occupied.

If you have a PS3 then the KH2.5 HD Remix will have BBS Final Mix fully playable on it.

And yeah, I do own Re:CoM. Overall I like the GBA one far more but the added final boss stages were epic.

Nope on the PS3. The only reason why my 'lil sis has a 3DS is because she saved up for it. We haven't had enough money in a while to get gaming consoles.

Dash it all. Hopefully you'll get a chance to play these games before KH3 comes out in a few years. BBS has woefully small worlds but the story is essentially what kickstarted everything else in the franchise. Definitely a must play. DDD will lead directly into KH3 and easily has the best gameplay in the franchise.

Naw, I'm done with the game. I don't do DLC. Plus I have no money anyway.

The DLC are great: Blood Money adds a real survival element, Lonesome Road has a great story and Old World Blues has a good story and lots of equipment etc

In almost all games DLC are great, just buy a Game Of The Year Edition and it basically discounts the price of all DLC's by about 70% and saves download time!

GotY editions are the only time I ever DO get DLC. Most of the time that money is better spent on new games rather than extensions of games I already have. The only DLC I've ever willingly bought was the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ones because I wanted to see the full story. I'm a huuuuge Castlevania fan though.

Doesn't look gritty enough for Mordor.

I'm much the same way. I have games that I haven't played yet, partly due to not having time, partly due to not being in the mood. Oblivion was also released 8 years ago, and technology changes rapidly, just look at the difference in each successive ES game, plus some of the add-ons. True, no game will be fun if you're not in the mood or just not into that sort of thing, but each type has benefits and an audience.

The one thing I can say I truly and without a doubt hate about Obsidian games is the fact that there are almost no cutscenes. Everything must be done through the eyes of the player character. It severely limits the ways they can tell the stories and I hate it.

No predefined path is good but not instrumented well, at the end of the day you are forced to go down a set quest chain. The only choice you get is what side you fight for etc. One of the worst downfalls of Fallout and Elder Scrolls...

What does the info on the episode have anything to do with the date it's release, which we've known for awhile now?

I've been keeping track of episode release dates on Wikipedia. Even if some are estimates due to the breaks they have a tendency to take they are relatively accurate.

I've yet to play a Serious Sam game unfortunately. Are they on Steam or GoG or something?

The most common element in any Star Ocean game is having a character or more than one character from a more advanced civilization that can traverse the stars somehow getting involved with an underdeveloped planet and inevitably getting mixed up in the big issues of that planet. And of course the problems are caused by things not from that planet so it's a good thing the non-native characters get involved.

Invincible rolls are the only reason I beat bosses like Ceaseless Discharge. >_<

I'm probably gonna end up with a greatshield again in this one. Eagle Shield for most of the game on my first Dark Souls run. A great many uses, it had.

Without spoiling anything, you find a iron great shield in the cathedral.

That'll help when I get there. I think for now I'll have to settle for the one from the guy in Majule. Twin Dragons Greatshield, I think it was called.
