Discord

Discord's history reportedly begins in Equestria's past as he once ruled the land with a cruel and twisted fist.  The alicorns, Celestia and Luna, stood up to him and managed to defeat him, locking him away in stone for many centuries.

During a field trip to the Canterlot Gardens, the Cutie Mark Crusaders got into an argument near his stone form, which created enough chaos to release him from his statue-prison.  He immediately began wreaking havoc again, hiding the Elements of Harmony and messing with the Mane Six until Twilight nearly gave up all hope.  But she rallied her friends and managed to defeat him, locking him away in stone once again.

Celestia was the one who brought Discord's statue to the Mane Six (specifically Fluttershy), to attempt to give the draconequus a chance to reform and change his wicked ways.  Though he caused more trouble and made his presence merely obnoxious instead of dangerous, Fluttershy eventually won him over by being the only friend he'd ever had.  Something that meant more to him than even HE realized; Discord then decided to attempt to somewhat kinda *TRY* to be good.  A bit.  A very little bit.  Like, almost invisible, it was such a bitty, bitty bit.

But he tried.  Through trials, tribulations and moments of personal hubris, Discord learned lesson after lesson about what it means to be a friend... and eventually, a few of them stuck.  Kinda.

Now, he still has his moments of chaos (he IS a creature of chaos, after all), but Discord has managed to settle himself to the point of actually being a friend.  Granted, he may still have a ways to go with certain subjects and concepts of friendship... but now, it's more of him genuinely not knowing, and less of him trolling for the fun of it.

Discord is a fun guy to be around; he can make things happen at complete (or not-so-complete) random, he has a charm and a style all his own, he lives for the thrill of anything weird and he has immense power that he can literally call on at even the slightest whim.  He genuinely doesn't want to harm his friends, and has even gone out of his way to try to help out.

That being said, he is also a self-absorbed, ego-stroking and insensitive prankster.  He tends to see himself as 'too hip for the room', and has a vengeful streak a mile wide, should you cross him.  He has difficulty remembering that Equestrians aren't just playthings for him to abuse, and has a knack for taking things just *one step too far*.  And his 'helping out' often causes more trouble than it solves.

Underneath it all, he's deathly afraid of simply being forgotten, and he gets furious when ignored for too long only because he now feels he has something to lose, and it frustrates him that he can no longer do as he pleases, else risk his few and far-between friendships.

His head is horse-like, much different from other ponies' head styles, with a very dark gray colored mane. He has a deer antler on the right, a blue goat horn on the left, one long fang, different-sized pupils, a snake tongue, a goat beard, and white bushy eyebrows and yellow eyes. He has the right arm of a lion, the left claw of an eagle, the right leg of a lizard, and the left leg of a goat. In addition, he has a bat's right wing, a Pegasus' left wing, a horse's mane, and a dragon-like snake's tail with a white tail tuft. The shape of his body resembles that of a snake.

• In "Twilight's Kingdom" Discord betrayed the mane 6 to join up with Tirek, only to get betrayed by Tirek at the end. But later had learn the true meaning of firendship
• Playing Orgre & Oubliettes with Spike and Big Mac
• In "To where and back again" Discord join up with Thorax, Starlight, and Trixie to save their friends and stop Queen Chrysalis.
• He disguised himself as Grogar, to help prepare twilight to rule the Equestria. But when the plan didn't work, he made up by helping Twilight and her friends defeat and stoned Cozy glow, Queen Chryalis and Tirek.
