Discord in the comics [spoilers]

Discord has appeared twice in the comics: Friends Forever issues #2 & 5.  What are your thoughts?

 

I loved both appearances.  And I'm 99.9% sure that issue #5 occurs after Twilight's Kingdom.  The reason?  Because he does a favor for Fluttershy just because.  That doesn't seem like pre-TK Discord.  Also the exchange between Celestia and Discord is awesome.

Discord really was perfect in both issues, and issue 5 was a nice little piece of characterization for him. He was also mentioned in 19, which makes me hope they revisit the alternate universe sometime in the future so we can see "Sir Discord" go to the dark side.

I love seeing Discord in the comics. I especially enjoyed his appearance in Friendship Forever #5.

The comic writers must've really loved him because they hit his characterization out of the freakin' park!

 

I especially loved his alternate "Captain Good Guy" or something to that mature. XD
