Sure, I am willing.   Such a rank upgrade would be interesting to roleplay, though this would most likely reinforce him being serious, unforgiving, and stubborn as per being Captain of the Solar Gua

Thread starts while I am asleep, why am I not suprised. I will see to posting ASAP.

 

The problem is that I am currently without computer, and I dislike making roleplay posts with my small cracked phone. I don't want to mess up. Hmm

 

As I am sure some of you noticed, there was a fair number of little mistakes. Some I have fixed but I am sure there was more. I apologize for that.

I'm curious are half unicorn half zebra ocs allowed? (and no they're not overpowered).

Actually they would have weakened magic. That is if they have a unicorn horn and a stripped coat.

 

One note though, that is only if they would be a mix. It can be argued, at least with the three mane races, that even if a pony did have parents of different races, they themselves would be only one.

Hey Silverwisp. I don't mean to sound impatient or rude, but I think the RP should start moving again. I posted and you haven't responded yet. I don't know if maybe you just didn't see my post or what. I feel like one part of the RP is going along at a steady pace, but our part is at a dead stop. I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I'm sure you have a good reason for not responding.

I hope that you've noticed, but many people on the forums- especially Silverwisp- has life, too, as well as requests, commissions, and probably a job/college to go through. Have patience and don't start bugging him unless about a week has passed. Just a heads up. The Dragon gets upset when messed with.

Hey, Silverwisp. I'm thinking of making a second character- an archmage who is here to lead organize keep in check keep half an eye on the trained mages in the area. I've always felt like playing a powerful, eccentric wizard with a knack for elemental spells. Would this be allowed? :catface:

Alright. Well, here we go.

 

 

 

Name: Quicksilver

 

Gender: Male

 

Species: Unicorn

 

Background: By the time Discord had completely taken over Equestria, Quicksilver was already a mage of high standing among the Academy of Elements, an ancient guild that made its home in a mountain not far from where a dragon was known to keep his hoard. The strong would dominate and take advantage of the weak, but through this dominion, the weak learned how to be strong through a combination of forbidden arts, magical duels, and underhanded tricks. Quicksilver had quickly moved up through the ranks by his brilliant display of power that scared off most rivals. He rose to a position of the equivalent of nobility in the guild, and quietly sat, confortable and open to experiment with various other schools of magic.

 

Discord had corrupted the current Archmage of the Elements to his cause several months earlier, attempting to gain the entire Academy for the slight amount of trouble. Several of the lesser mages had abandoned their ties due to this, and Quicksilver was about to join them, but two things held him back- his love of magic and alchemy, firstly, and secondly, the reports that every single mage that had severed ties somehow reported dead, no matter how far they fled to get away from Discord. So, Quicksilver continued to study carefully, trying to swallow his consciousness whenever he was tasked to put down a rebellion or to destroy a guerrilla force.

 

When Discord was defeated, Celestia and Luna (eventually) turned their attentions to the Academy in it's current state. Several of the higher members were either banished or executed. The ex- Archmage was never found- it is thought that he escaped to another plane of existence- and most of the mages were captured. As the highest ranking mage left of the Academy, he took on the title of Archmage before, during his trial, delivering a three hundred and forty six page essay that declared himself guilty and explaining every single reason why he had done what he had done. After the two years it took for the judge of the case to determine that he was, in fact, innocent, with his loyalty in question by his peers, he took what remained of the guild and joined the forming Great Crusade- on the condition that he would not have to answer to the 'royal snobs' that were the generals. The princesses, well aware of the antics of the Academy, responded to this by saying that he wouldn't be under the command of the generals- he'd be under the command of the Captains (although he would technically have an equal rank to them). Knowing not to press the point, he agreed, accepting the loophole without question.

 

Currently, he is moving along with the other soldiers in the army, attempting to both prove his loyalty to doubters and to keep half an eye on his comrades- besides, their only way up the ranks at the moment is through him, and he's not too sure that he has the unwavering loyalty of his companions.

 

Plans: Help the Captains defeat and capture that which cannot be captured with force of arms alone (e.g., demons, enchantments, and other wizards); hopefully find willing subjects for his magical experiments; maintain his role as the Archmage of Elements long enough to reestablish the institution.
