Not really. I've made some friends, though.

Like this kid right here:

I've grown nicer, if anything. Bronydom has been a sort of penance for me, if you will, and it's mellowed me out quite nicely.

My time on these forums has been one of the best I have ever had online. I have been all over the internet and I have never felt truly at home anywhere but here. I can also literally say I have met more genuine and what I call "alive" people here than even in real life. I feel like when I go to school I am surrounded by so much fake, in the end only a few people seem to actually care. Everyone is just out for themselves, and if you happen to be there talking is more of a "courtesy" than actually because they want to.

I myself haven't changed too much from coming here, but I do notice that when I feel down sometimes I remember that I can always come here to cheer back up. I come here and I get this feeling of kindess and caring. Although I am not depressed or feel alone in life or anything, it is definitely a breath of fresh air from what I get offline. It is just nice knowing I can come here and chat, play games, talk about ponies, etc. and feel like I belong. I know I have said this before and it sounds really cheesy but this forum is like a second family to me, you are all awesome people!

I used to walk around in any forums mocking people all around the place. If you visit some certain international gaming forums, I'm pretty sure you've seen me in action.

But now. I guess I'll try to settle down without any fancy words :/

Through these forums I met Tom the Diamond who is my new personal, playful punching bag who takes my love teasing and jokes since I don't see any of my college friends anymore that I used to do that with. <3

I'll be completely honest, it might of saved my life. I was very depressed and was feeling suicidal. Soon I found MLP: FIM, and I felt slightly better. So I joined brohoof.com. They treated me awful and spit on me through words, when I "questioned" their superior power. So I felt sadder than ever and was very close to commiting suicide, but I kept thinking about how awful it would be for my family. Still thinking about it, I searched for a MLP community that wasen't HUGE but wasn't a tiny community either. I found these forums and fell in love with all the members and community! After having fun on the forums I decided to make an actual account to talk to the others. I no longer feel depressed anymore, and just about everypony I have talked to contributed to me feeling better.

These forums may have been one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. I am no longer shy and I feel great! The community is amazing and nice. The moderators are all nice to me and everypony. Whenever I see a little number next to my notification tab I feel joy. I think the forums also helped me get over my shyness, which I didn't really have before but now I feel completely ridden of its company. I also made so many new friends throughout the forums. I like to think of everypony on these forums as not a community, but more close to an awkward family. I feel so happy whenever somepony thanks me for helping them with something or making them an avatar/ signature. I love all of you.

Thank you MLP Forums.

Your fan,

Dragonshy (Donovan)

i used to be a popular admin on two minecraft servers and moderator on 2 other forums. I then discovered mlp and its forums. Haven't been on the other places NEARLY as much. Most of my free time is spent here.

Mlp forums has probably taught me to be more open and involved with community. Although that may not be safe in other places, its shown me that there are some websites where you dont have to worry about being flamed.

Yes.

For one, I've met totally awesome people. *has more friends on the Internet than in real life-forever alone*

On the other hand, I'm on this site all the time, which isn't necessarily a bad thing XD

It's made me feel more light hearted and happy. Usually when I'm on the net I'm either writing, youtubing, writing moar, RPing and dealing with trolls. Here there's no need to worry about trolls, it's always a calm light hearted atmosphere and everyone CARES.

When I was first joining the net I got cyberbullied without even realizing it because I was being manipulated. But that also made me look at some sites with a 'meh' thing like an a forum for Alopecia it feels more like: Group therepy let's get the tissues out instead of anything else but here? I can talk ponies, I can talk tarantula's, I can enjoy hanging out with people who share the same interests.

You guys have no idea how happy I was when I first joined the forum because I was a new brony and felt a little nervous but I feel happy and safe here. I know the net isn't truly a safe place but here it feels like it because of how it's run. I have never witnessed someone getting bullied on here or was bullied.

It's changed me a bit I'm a lot more friendly and have more of a sense of humor.

Not really, I just joined for lulz and ponies, and I'm still pretty much doing that. But I've met a good few cool gals and guys while on here, but I haven't been very social.
