ooc Journey to the Higher Plane (Adventure RP inspired by elements from The Hobbit)

Even if the Entity leaves Blaze, he will still roam in the Role play, but just won't be controlling Blaze anymore.

At least that's what I think I'm doing with him as of now, that might change.

Come on Blaze is awsome! I dont think he's gotten his real chance to shine! If the Entity finally leaves him, he could be a real hero in this RP. I could imagine us mares getting marenapped in the night by rogue gryphons and Blaze and the others have to rescue us lol.

I really didn't mean him specifically; what I meant was cases in which I'd probably end up roleplaying as a villain and probably have no time for Raze.

 

My next idea was something along the lines of a part pony, part machine character in Manehattan or some other city trying to get others to join him and become "improved" through combining machine parts with themselves, then demonstrating about how being a machine is superior with this steam golem type thing shaped like an earth pony. Heck, I'd probably have the golem join the group (which may or may not cause problems).

 

Or, the group heads back into a forest, and finds this strange cave that holds a mysterious ( yet surprisingly cute) furry creature that was frozen in ice for millions of years. It would break out, and become attached to one of the mares (I'm considering Lightning Bliss), thinking that she was his mommy.

 

Idk, what do you think?

I definitely like the part pony, part machine idea. I also think the fuzzy creature idea could some humor. I also think we need a few more comical aspects like that. The group should all fall into some poison joke or something.

None of this sounds very cannon to me, I thought we were going for something similar to Lord of the Rings in regards to challenges and obstacles? I was tolerable of Royal Flush, Steel and Quickdraw, but a mechanical pony? A 'creature' like an alien 'frozen' in ice? It's a little far fetched to me. I might actually enjoy the humor of something 'attatching' itself to me, but something thats more recongizable, like a dragon hatchling, or a gryphon, a chimera, kiren, gargoyle, anything!

 

But it's you're RP I'll continue to roll with it unless it gets too 'weird' for me tastes.

 

Maybe a furry gargoyle can attatch itself to me? LOL

What about, as something different, a hippogryph foal? Still possible, if a griffon gets together with a pony. XD Maybe its pony mother also has a rainbow coloured mane, so it thinks that Lightning is its mother?

 

Also, I could maybe play a villain if need be.

Hey maybe all of this could play into my idea too, since I'd really like for all us mares to get mare napped at one point. Maybe a baby hippogryphon with rainbow tail thinks im its mama, and he follows me around constantly, and it takes up too much attention.

 

So a flock of male hippogryphons spot the hatchling and come to investigate and they get attracted by us mares and decide to 'claim' us LOL.

 

I can imagine Hurricane having a field day with trying to fight them but they snatch us up anyway and the studs have to find a way to stop them! Even I could play a hippogryph villian!

Hey guys I just had a cool idea for developing my OC as well as creating a new one if we do all agree to go with the hippogryphon attack idea.

 

It's just the idea that I could make another OC from this opprotunity was too good to mess up. Let me explain:

 

Several months ago there was this status war/joke about the idea of my OC gaining an assistant kinda like Spike. Everypony argued since I'm similar to her some what and since she has a special little assistant that I should have one too. Though I dismissed it cause I didn't want to be like Twilight, but of course everypony there started battling for the spot even though there was no spot there LOL!

 

Anyways now that we're discussing the idea of a baby hippogryph getting attatched to my OC, I realized he would actually make a good little assistant for me, or even an adoptive child for my OC to take care of. I would name him Artemis for reasons we'll get into if we decide to go with this idea. Let me know if we are, I'd like to get on to that soon as we save Blaze from...himself lol!
