(btw, this guy is based of a character named Sigh from a biopunk story I was writing a few years ago and have since abandoned. That's also why my character in FOE is named Sigh, but this one is much closer to the original.)

 

Name: Simon

Gender: male

Age: early twenties

Appearance: grey blue body with black mane and tail. He's smaller than the average earth pony. All four legs are mechanical. The parts connecting his legs to his body have obscured his cutie mark.

 

Background: Simon was born into a rich family in good favor Princess skullcrown. He was born a cripple, and couldn't do much on his own. Much if his childhood was spent lamenting his condition; he had no magic and no wings, and no strength, the only thing most earth ponies had. He underwent an experimental surgical procedure, but it failed and took away what little use of his legs he had left. His parents gave him everythin he ever asked for, but were too scared to try another operation.

Simon waited until his parents went on their annual vacation together. He summoned the family doctor and had him amputate his legs and replace them with mechanical legs he had secretly commissioned from a military grade bionics factory. Not only could he walk and run, he was now stronger and more flexible than most earth ponies. He was so excited to show his parents when they returned, but they did not share his joy and ordered the legs to be removed. Simon was so scared of losing his newfound freedom that he fought back, accidentally killing his father and putting his mother into a coma. Terrified at what he had done, he ran away from home, laying low and trying to avoid the investigators.

After awhile, he began to accept what he had done, and gradually twisted events in his favor, convincing himself that his parents deserved it. He decided to take revenge on all the ponies who had used to bully and look down on him. He began a killing spree that took the lives of many ponies. When one put up a real fight, he modified one of his front legs to hide a long, spiked chain, which he could control with electrical impulses. He easily killed several ponies with his new weapon, but was caught and locked away in a high security prison. Instead of executing him, his punishment was to have his legs removed, which Simon saw worse than death.

To this day, he lays in his bed, lamenting his fate and wishing he had his legs reattached.
