Why does Noteworthy randomly turn into a cyclops in the Galloping Gala episode?  Possibilities:

 

a) He is actually an ponyoid alien, and his pony disguise fell off for a second.

 

b ) He is an incubus/changeling who takes the shape of your darkest desire to lure you in, and Rarity is a closet xenophile.  Lucky for Spike.

 

c) Twilight Sparkle is an actual real-life horse, unknowingly trapped in a Matrix-like simulation meant to enhance her intelligence a-la Lawnmower Man, and the program glitched visibly.
