Many things. The simple story, the merchandise, the fan art, the show inspired music, and even the rough side of the fandom for their sharp, yet funny level of satire and comedy. I guess that's why.

The main thing that keeps me watching is the fandom. If I hadn't known there were more people like me who watch and enjoy the show, I would have left by now.

1. I love the characters, I love the variety of characters, and I especially the growth & development of these characters.

 

2. The plots of the various episodes & comics continue to draw me in. They are easily rewatchable and rereadable.

 

3. The animation of the show and the art style of the comics. Both never cease to amaze me.

 

4. The music; nuff said.

 

5. The lore of the world. There isn't much else I love better the lore and world-building.

The relatable and charismatic characters and the mostly innocent, well-integrated, and fresh humor help to support a show that nonetheless takes its moral message seriously enough to make it seem like a potent force in our cultural consciousness.  The only thing holding it back is that it is on the wrong network and perhaps the lack of continuity and evolution in its moral/philosophical development, and until the show changes radically in its fundamentals, I'll keep watching it.

But most of all, it reminds me just how good it is to have a friend, and no matter what happens, friendship stands up tall. I love my friends and treat them as the most important thing in my life. Nothing could be more special to me than them.

The characters are likeable and interesting. I like the animation and the bright colors. I like the songs. I think the stories are pretty good. The characters are definitely the most important point for me though. They just brighten up my day and make me smile, no matter what mood I'm in. I couldn't care less what other people think about what I watch. It's none of their concern.

I love the cuteness of the show. I've been watching since season 1, and I've kept enjoying the characters and stories. It's a wonderful cartoon, and I don't usually get too much flack for watching it. Either way I don't want to let anyone stop me from enjoying what I enjoy.

Because I enjoy it. I'll always love all the characters, the stories they come up with are usually pretty good(S4 especially), plus the show has a general mass appeal about it that just keeps me coming back for more.

I personally see the inner most parts of the show, the more incredible reality of a perfect world, in which problems may be solved without violence and death. I see characters hwo embody the very essence of human nature, their dreams, hopes, stereotypes, and their own beings. I see animatoin that was done to an extent it never had to be. I see a show that has taken me and given me hope, love, joy, and given me back my individuality.
