Which Laptop should I choose?

Well, I do not have Walmart in my country and I do not know about BestBuy either.

 

I cannot help you here but hopefully someone can. For 1000 dollars, you can get a good laptop. Enough to run emulators (CPU intensive) and to run modern games smoothly with medium-high graphics settings.

The second one is better, though I would recommend a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. They get somewhat pricy, but for skyrim and dolphin, an apu will most likely not be a good option. MSI, Ibuypower, and ASUS make good gaming laptops. You can buy them on amazon.

tbh, Either of those 2 laptops you posted earlier will work fine. I'm not sure about emulators as the only experience I have with those are DOS emulators like DOSBox.

 

and Heck, AMD APU laptops are just downright awesome. if they only AMD would improve their fglrx drivers..
