I've been looking closer at these solar roadways, and it seems the  technology is very controversial...

True, but looking at the first thing I found that was against it...

 

1) I have a hard time accepting their criticism of it since they only said bad things. If you're actually trying to criticize well, then you should try to look on both sides.

2) Most of the points seem to be against the solar output, and through the tests that the solar roadway people did, (yes, they actually did tests) they found that if every road in the US was converted to solar, they'd collectively produce enough electricity to power the US three times over

Most of you are probably watching that new episode live now. I stopped watching episodes live after the premiere, since it was a bit of a hassle to set up and find a lagless place to watch it, and my internet temporarily cut out during it so I missed about 5 minutes of the episode. The internet cutting out is very unlikely, but I don't want to risk it again. I'll just find it on Youtube a few hours later.

 

So, if you're all gone watching the episode, that means I have this place to myself for a while, right? I might go find some interesting comments to respond to.

I have no idea how they talk like that. I've tried copying that text into a word processor and messed with the formatting all I can, but nothing seems to remove that corruption effect. This annoys me. I must know how it works, how to undo it, and how to use it myself! Even copying the text into the most basic of word processors, Notepad, doesn't help.

 

 

Maybe next time I'll let you get a triple... But only if you provide some interesting conversation!

The last thing I was thinking about that had to do with conversation was creating a thread in the general discussion forum or somewhere and ask how people identify in terms of sexuality, gender, and stuff

 

I myself would identify as a hetero-leaning biromantic, demisexual

(EDIT: And cis-male )

I identify as an asexual male. Meaning I just don't find other people attractive in that way, regardless of gender or anything else. I'm a typical male though, not trans or anything. I don't consider myself very manly or very feminine, but I still definitely consider myself a male.

I wish I had the time to go around to all the games. But uni takes up most of my time, and once I've responded to all my highest priority places like this one, I have to go again!

 

Then again, part of it may be due to laziness. I sometimes stick around replying to things like the General Chat Thread for a while, and I don't bother to leave and post in a few games in the meantime. Maybe I've been doing this all wrong!

 

But I actually do have a lot of uni stuff on right at this very moment, so no other games for me tonight. I'm probably leaving once I make this post.

I haven't exactly looked deeply into it to see if there are any major criticisms of it, but if there are criticisms, I hope they're legitimate ones and not just things like attacks on the project and the people behind it.

 

That said, I have thought of one potential concern myself: Light pollution. All those upwards facing LEDs are going to send a lot of light into the atmosphere, and we already have enough problems with how much light we're already emitting at night. I'm not an expert on light pollution, so I don't know if LEDs are bright enough to make a big impact, but I'd definitely like to hear what they have to say about the potential light pollution these panels will create. That said, this is just one minor problem within a whole ton of benefits, so I'm still strongly for it.
