Once the dragons complete thier trips around the room, they fly up in the middle and explode like fireworks. Then a giant serpent forms from the showering sparks of the dragons explosion. "Enjoying the show so far ponies? Well its time for the fun to get serious." Sounding more confident than when he was talking earlier, the serpent starts dancing as if to a tune from a snake charmer. As it moes it pulsates in multiple colors, like a rainbow.

Belle's smile grew when Eloquence talked about writing. "I know what you mean, I'm a writer as-Asshole! As well. I write screenplays though. I don't think I'd be-Bitch! Be good at being a reporter. You can probably guess why."She said with a chuckle. "It must be a great job. You sound like you really enjoy it. And I bet you're really good at-Shit! good at it as well."

Belle nods and quickly wraps her mouth up tightly again so she wouldn't interrupt the show with her shouting. The only thing that came from her a muffled shout that was quiet enough that it wouldn't be too distracting. Belle watched the show with great wonder. As she watcher she started to have an idea. She quickly pulled out her pencil and notebook from her dark green purse she was caring around. Then she started righting ideas down for a new screenplay.

She watched the dragons and serpent, completely enraptured. She could easily see why Mirror had been invited to perform this evening.

 

The serpent starts to wrap around itself, becoming a cherry blossom tree. As they blossom, the flower ignite, becomeing a large pheonix which then.flies around, right over heads and tables. It then explodes into five smaller phoenixes, each about three feet.

Eloquence tore her attention from the show for a moment to look over Belle's shoulder at Riley's story. Her eye twitched and she let out a nearly inaudible squeak before sinking back down into her chair and pretending she hadn't seen that, choosing instead to focus on the phoenixes soaring overhead.

As the phoenixes fly throughout the room, they start to fly in a sphere pattern, creating what looks likes a miniature sun. While this is happening, Mirror Image makes a pair of windigoes appear, running around the room. After they start to run around the sun in circles.

Belle looked at the paper that Riley was holding out to her and then back at him with a raised eyebrow. But she shrugged and took i. She started reading though it. She thought it use some work. a LOT of work. When she was done she lets out a sigh through her nose. Then she turned to a blank page in her notebook and wrote something down. When she was done she took the page out of her notebook and hold it out to Riley. "You really need to working your spelling and grammar when pitching an idea on paper. Also, you'll have to make thing more realistic or it'll just looking like the ravings of a madpony. But it could be something good if your worked it out better. But I don't think it would be made into a movie. I'm sorry." When it came to constructive criticism about writing, screenplays or otherwise. Belle never hold punches.

Riley read through the feedback Belle had written down for him. He looked back to her. "What are you talking about?! Of course this is realistic!" he protested. "Equestria has been attacked by Chrysalis and Tirek in the past! Furthermore, Anala and I are both awesome!"

Eloquence peeked over Belle's shoulder again, watching as she wrote her response. She imagined the colt would feel rather upset reading this, but what could she say? That it wasn't true? She may have felt it could have been said in a nicer way, but it certainly wasn't inaccurate.

Ahh, so he had seen her read it. Darn. She spoke softly so as not to interrupt the show. "Well, I agree that your grammar and spelling are... rather off, in this piece." She perked up a bit as an idea came to her. "Riley, a screenplay is rarely based off of a short story, and I don't think one has ever been based off one that is even just a few pages in length, unless it is very loosely based thereon. Do you know why that is?"

The windigoes starts spuraling toward the miniature sun, after which an explosion erupts, sending many xiao long dragons flying through the air. They erupt like fireworks one right after the other. The showering sparks then group together to make a manticore standing in the middle of the room. The manticore unleashes a massive roar, seeming to shake tables. It then melts down to form another cherry blossom tree. One that blossoms prismatically and fades slowly. "Thank you, guests at the gala for watching my show."

After his finale, Mirror Image walked over to the table where he was talking with Eloguence before. "Sigh, still one more show to put on tonight, and it's gonna be a lot harder thanks to who will be in the audience." He says this, a little loudly and sort if worn out. "I need a vacation, I've been doing too many shows lately."

Belle just gave Riley a deadpan look and shook her head slowly. She lets out another sigh though her nose now that the show was over and undid her wrap around her mouth. When it was off he rubbed her mouth and chin a little. Then she looked back at Riley. "I'm sorry, Riley. but I don't think it'll work as a pilo-Shit! A pilot either. Sorry for being blunt but it's true. You need to have a well thought out story and script to-Fuck! To catch an eye of a producer.It-Ass! It took me three years to get my first screenplay in the hoof of a producer. But now I have a agent who tries to do it for me. All I ha-Damn it! I have to do is come up with better ideas and write."

Eloquence nodded. "Belle is right Riley. A screenplay for even a short TV show is at least the size of a small novella." She did her best to be supportive. "You have to tell the audience more. Show them who your characters are, what drives them, how they-" She stopped short as Riley put on a pair of earmuffs and turned away from Belle, mouth slightly agape. She sputtered a bit. "Wh-what are you doing?"

 

She was aware of Mirror approaching their table, and though she had planned to congratulate him immediately she was still too dumbfounded to do so.

Mirror Image dropped his head on the table. Looking at riley, he pulls tbe earmuffs off with his magic. "Look kid, show business is not as much fun as you think, trust me. That show is just the first of two, and the second is going to happen when the princesses arrive. Imagine how hard it is to impress them, especially after tjatlittle show i just put on."

"Damn, I dont think I get this kids point if view. Look whatever was said, it was her right to say, damn." Turning to Eloquence, "what did you think of the show? I just hope you enjoyed it." He says, then realizing what he just said, he starts stittering and freaking out.

Eloquence continued to sputter, trying to work out a way to make peace with the table. She started by nudging Belle, giving her an apologetic look, then turned to Mirror. "Your show was fantastic Mirror, really. I'm sure whatever you have in mind, the princesses will absolutely love." She placed her hooves on top of his, attempting to calm what she assumed to be his concern over his next show.

 

Now for Riley. He really was behaving horrendously, but he was just a colt. She turned to him. "Do you know what Tourette Syndrome is RIley?" she asked.

She nodded. "In a sense. Tourette Syndrome causes a pony to develop uncontrollable or difficult to control ticks, either verbal or nonverbal, often both. These ticks can include cursing, which for its commonness and shock value has become the 'trademark tick' of the syndrome." She stopped, realizing she might sound like she's talking over Belle. "Though I'm sure Belle could explain it better than I could." she added quickly. "Apologies are helpful, yes, but perhaps next time you could consider the other pony's feelings and the potential reasons behind their behavior more carefully."

Belle sighs again at Riley. "I'm not gonna beat you up. And it-Shit! It's alright. I just get tired of explaining my condition every time I offend someone. It gets to be a pain." She lets out a another tired sigh and sat back in her chair. "It's hard to meet new po-Fuck! Ponies cause of it. So it's even harder to make new friends with it. Or to get close to-Damn it! To someone I could be more then friends with." Her head goes down. "I get very de-Piss! Depressed cause of it."

"Sigh, I wish things were this easy all the time" Mirror Image says, thinking about the events that led up to him hiding from everypony. "No, that doesn't matter tonight, tonight I will make a friend, maybe out of Eloquence and Miss Belle, or even the fool Riley." He mutters.

 Belle gave a small smile at Riley. "Thanks, Riley." That was all she said as she sit's up. She lets out a shout as she did. Then she started wrapping up her mouth tightly again. When she was done, she pulled her pad and pencil out again and wrote  something down. After she was done she hold the paper out to Eloquence. "Would you be my friend?"

She read over the paper, then without saying anything took the paper, turned it over, wrote on the other side, and held it up for Belle to see.

 

"Absolutely!", it read, adorned with a few little hearts, and held up with a large beaming grin.

Looking up confused, "huh, what did i miss?" As he was still thinking about things, he never saw Belle give the paper to Eloquence. "Im sorry I was not paying attention, I had, er um, I had a loton my mind. With certain possibilities and the show combined, its abbit of a headache."

Belle could feel a wave a emotion come over her. Instead of crying she got up and pulled Eloquence into a big hug. Cause not just one pony wants to be her friend but two. Maybe the others would also be her friend as well. She hugged Eloquence a little closer.
