I think, having considered it for a while, that I can let you use Bloodstalker. Just try not to spend the whole RP on a giant rampage. Killing here and there is fine, as long as it isn't all he does.

Name: John (Known alias: Shadow Dancer)

Age: 20

Appearance: 6ft tall, Pale skin, dark brown, hair and eyes, usually wears jeans and a white tee-shirt with a black hoodie

 

Bio: He was born with his abilities being able to manipulate shadows to a small degree, as he got older his abilities go stronger and at the age of eighteen he developed the urge to kill.

 

Already have been taught right from wrong he tried resisting the urge but it never went away and he ended up killing his girlfriend, this devastated him, since this time he created a set of rules of how to channel it calling it, The Code. The biggest rules being 1)Never get caught. 2)Kill only those that have killed 3) Be 100% sure the target is guilty.

 

 Since then he has made multiple kills that still have never been discovered by other meta-humans, the law enforcement or his family and friends

 

Abilities: Able to manipulate shadow as far as to make simple non mechanical items out of it (The items work like they would if they were real.) and limited shape changing , and to show someone their deepest fears

 

Notes/other information: His abilities have a tendency to evolve, and even faster with use, expanding what he can do but it all seems to stay within a boundary.

Name:Kenji Miyafugi

Appearance: average build, long black hair blue eyes. Always wears a hoodie and cargo pants with combat boots.

Bio: Kenji discovered his powers fairly early, he manipulates the elements. As of now, he has only mastered air, with a limited ability for water and fire. He has left his family when they began to fear him as a monster, and now he takes on jobs, like a mercenary, to survive.

Abilities: elemental control. Has onl mastered air, is currently working on water and fire. He is trying to discover his ability for earth. (Basically a bender, but based.more on Kaze no Stigma.)

Notes/other information: is a very angry person, but doesn't like to show it.

Abilities: Aura manipulation and flight.
Appearance: Tempest is about five and a half feet in height and normally wears a black cloack with grey pants. He would be described as dark, mysterious, and extremely deadly when angered. He can use his aura as ranged spheres or close range swords, along with added healing factor. A pair of black dragon wings have also begun to sprout to the point where the teen could fly
Bio: Tempest was born in the mountains of Britain. Everyday, he would meditate in order to clear his mind. Eventually, he discovered how to manipulate the life force of his being, also known as a aura, and has since been perfecting his abilities.

Abiliies: Electrokinesis
Appearance: Gale is five and a half feet in height and wear a white shirt with grey pants. She is somewhat shy, but can make friends given enough time. She also has black hair and emerald green eyes.
Bio: Gale was born in Siberia and discovered her power when she was playing with a electrical wire and battery. She could feel and see the electricity running through the copper and concentrated on it. Eventually, she was able to make the power pump into her hand and she has been working to develop her abilities ever since.

Tempest just doesn't seem to fit right somehow. I don't know, I'm not sure how to put it into words. But I feel like he isn't appropriate for the setting or something. Gale is accepted.

Given that the shadow thing is already pretty versatile, I feel like also having shape changing and showing people their fears is too much. If you can pick one of the three, you're accepted. Although if the shape changing was specifically limited to things pertaining to people's fears, then I could accept those two as a package deal.

Name: Orion.

 

Appearance: He dons very simple clothes: a white jacket and grey jeans. He has a set of pale blue eyes, and short, black hair.

 

Bio: Orion never got a chance to meet his mother, as she passed away during child birth. The only bits of information Orion gathered about his mother were through the stories told by his dad. The lack of another parental figure in the house only strengthened the relationship between Orion and his father.

 

Because the two had such a strong bond, Orion's father immediately picked up on Orion's strange affinity for the cold, and managed to connect the dots to realize what Orion truly was. He surprised Orion on his twelfth birthday by telling him of his plan to move to Alaska, where Orion could be in his one true element, and possibly hone his skills.

 

It was in Alaska that Orion managed to truly get a hold of his icy powers. He and his father lived in a fairly rural part of Alaska, void of large amounts of people. Most months, the only other human being Orion saw was his father. Unfortunately, once he finally mastered his powers and moved out of Alaska, his social awkwardness around other people besides his dad grew to be a real problem.

 

Abilities: Orion has the ability to instantaneously manifest shards of ice, and use them as deadly projectiles. The longer he concentrates on the generation of the shards, the more aerodynamic and lethal they become. Because of this, instantaneously generated shards tend to come out with rough shapes with jagged edges. This increases the overall wind resistance of the shard, making it considerably less accurate than a shard that had more time to form.

 

The generation of ice formations doesn't stop with simple shards; Orion can increase his elevation at any given time by creating a sort of icy scaffolding. The structure begins to form underneath his feet, and then rises up, taking Orion with it. The scaffolding is a considerably larger piece of mass than a shard, and as such, Orion cannot instantaneously generate it. Due to the sheer amount of time it takes to create the platform, this is not a feasible method of dodging attacks in combat. This ability is used more for gaining advantageous positions in combat, and gaining access to high points, such as balconies and whatnot. The shape of this structure can also be altered and erected in front of him rather than under him, providing Orion with a makeshift shield.

Alright so, dusting off an old character and givin' her some powers.

 

Name: Tora Lei

Age: 16

Desc: A lanky cream colored girl with large aquamarine eyes and short red hair. She loves to wear heavy eyeliner to give her the 'cat-eye' look and she wears her short hair in different style almost everyday. Usually wears bright clothes, tanks and shorts, leggings, anything breathable and flexible. Is never seen without her headphones.

 

Bio: Tora originally comes from China but she loves to backpack throughout the country and ends up in many places. She has no family to speak of and travels so much, rarely does she keep friends. Tora never really trained her powers, treating them more like fun.

 

Ability: Shape change into animals. Since she never really honed her skill, the shape change can occur at any moment. Whether she's excited or nervous or surprised and at times she can't change at all. There are times where she well get stuck in animal form or part-way through; those days she has to sleep out in the wild. Tora believes she can understand animals somewhat, or perhaps it's just wishful thinking on her end.

 

Notes: Tora Lei has an extremely bubbly personality, super-friendly and talkative. She loves dancing to any dance/techno music and can usually be seen doing so while listening to her mp4 player.

So I should probably clarify since I haven't mentioned them yet that I do have a character. Well, technically I have a bunch of them, but I have one who will be with the rest of you from the beginning. I'm still ironing out details right now, but I'll post a sheet for him eventually.

 

Also, I'd be open to doing something else, but I think I want to start the RP with all of our characters on a boat heading into the city. Any thoughts?

 

...And while I'm asking for input, does anybody have any ideas for a name for the RP? Because I'm terrible at coming up with them.

We could always go with the obvious name, that being "Sanctuary" or something of the like.

And yeah, all starting out on the boat seems like a fine idea to me.

It would make sense if we all started in the same place. I don't think Gale would be able to fly all the way to the coast of California. (Yes, she can fly by reversing her polarity or something  like that.)
