New Villain ideas?

Yea I suppose, but if I were to see a villain from another show (g1 counts as another show) I would rather the only other  modern cartoon to have epic villains

When I first saw "lich king" I instantly thought of warcraft -___-, but yes the lich was an amazing villain, and he is the only thing I loved about adventure time, until he turned into a god damn baby, but while the lich was awesome, I didnt really love his character, I just loved his design and pure evilness. unlike people like g4 tirek, discord, or bill cipher, or hell even sombra, those 4 are my favorite cartoon villains at the moment, and its because they are all intimidating but have characters beyond that (besides sombra, I just love him for yolos)

1) A invasion from another land, I would love to see a arc based around maretania or hell even the gryphons declaring war on equestria for some BS excuse. Rainbow power couldnt stop them because they aren'tnecessarily "evil" just doing whats right for there land, I think this could be interesting, also we could finally see the Equestrian "military" DO SOMETHING

 

I've always had that idea ever since I started watching the show. So there must be another race invading with a version of Joseph stalin as a power hungry dictator, or another pony nation... with a pony verion of Joseph Stalin as their power- hungry dictator.

1. The Mane Six fight... themselves. I don't mean the changelings. They have to fight the elements of Disharmony. Their darker clones will be more powerful in every. If the Mane Six (The good ones) lose, disharmony will spread across Equestria. They are about to lose, but ponies join together to help them because friendship. Dark Twilight is hostile, dark Rarity is greedy, dark Applejack is a liar, etc. (bad idea.)

 

2. Twilight Sparkle becomes corrupt, and her friends have to save her. (Writers, a lot of people suggested this. Do it!)

So everyone, I have a question for you all, what are some ideas you have for mlp villains that you would like to see in the actual show? For me there are some great possibilities that COULD be epic

2) All of our villains so far have been clever (sort of) people who seek power and control, Why not just a crazy ass monster  he could go with dragons being all over equestria burning everything to the ground so the dragonbor...I mean the mane 6 have to stop them some how. Orrr and this would be much cooler, AN URSA FUCKING MAJOR, given there apparent size it is clear that they must be the most dangerous and powerful beast in equestria, an ursa minor was around half as big as the dragonshy dragon, so a MAJOR, I think that would be epically epic

 

3) Wereponies all over equestria, just sounds awesome

 

4) A pony or anything else that has power of the elements, He starts massive fires, freezes towns, creates earthquakes, they could make a pretty cool fightscene based off that :D :D

 

5) anti Mane 6...Would be awesome

 

  So what do you think, I would love all of these but my favorites would probably be ursa major rage, or evil elemental pony also give your villain ideas as well.

 

 

EDIT: I forgot one, mlp loves greek mythology, it loves torturous, so BRING IN HADES

i'd want to see a powerful pony that would just be like the equivalent of voldemort so powerful and evil that his name spreads fear but a character that takes a more active role as a villain in the series instead of just being in there for a couple eps make it like 10 or more eps with this character, just my opinion

I once thought of an earth pony villain who got jealous of unicorn magic and pegasus flight, so he builds a mechanical horn and a mechanical set of wings. He powers it with magic that he drains from the land, making it barren. 

 

It was a neat thought, but i'm no writer. I haven't developed it more than that.

How about a handful of just regular ponies that encite a rebellion in Equestria. A group that grows tired of the princesses holding all the power. They want the power spread how it was pre-Celestia and democracy for everypony. With that the princesses will actually have to convince all ponies they deserve to represent Equestria. As well as regain the adoration they once had.

Catalina, the evil Cat-Lord who seeks to create a dominion for her Cat minions and subjugate all life because all life must serve cats. Her power comes from the overwhelming power of her minion's balls of yarn and giant paws. The Mane Six must stop Catalina before she starts a catastrophe!

I like the idea of a talking Mastermind Manticore...threatening to break the monsters out of the Everfree forest to take over Equestria. He is like the magical reverse of Fluttershy. He can talk to animals and monsters. Further he can turn animals into monstrous versions of themselves. in fact he turns Angel into a monstrous minion. Fluttershy/Flutterbat saves the day.

 

In that same episode we get to see Rarity fight a giant crab...and win!

That would be a really good idea, also it would be nice because rainbow power would not work on them.

I had the idea of a conformist assimilating race not unlike those commonly found in science fiction (the Borg, the Cybermen, Agent Smith, etc) that would drain the ponies of their emotions, individuality, and possibly their magic.

 

An anti-Mane 6 definitely needs to be done. It's a very common request and I won't lie, I've thought of it, too.

Definitely seconded, on account that many of the existing two-parters are too often called out for being "too Twilight-centric". Instead of pushing her friends to the side while she does most of the heavy lifting, why not have the others save her for once? Edited September 1, 2014 by Wind Chaser

Well, aside from Grogar (the Smooze seems a little silly to me in design, at least), I'd like to see some poetical intrigue. Maybe have someone of importance within Equestria making a grab for power and the Mane 6 have to stop him somehow.

 

Also, let's not make him all powerful. Similar to Thrawn, I'd like to see a smart villain who doesn't have the power of an alicorn (similar to Sombra I guess, maybe less powerful).
