The Beauty of Music

I just saw this video of a man who was in a nursing home for a long time and never really spoke much to others... They let him listen to some of his beloved music of his era and his definition of what music does for him is amazing.

I really liked this video a lot.

That's beautiful. I love how music can kickstart that nostalgia and warm feeling in all of us. Every time I hear certain songs, I relate back to when I first heard it, the way life was like back when it was still new, the thoughts associated with it. Sometimes pleasant memories, sometimes not so pleasant, but either way it's a feeling. Something that's timeless.
