You think there are conventions in Equestria?

I mean, there must be....right? Surely....I mean, a lot of ponies were dressed up as Starswirl the bearded, when his traveling museum passed through, in "Three's a Crowd", the Mane 6 dressed up as superheroes, in 'The Mysterious Mare Do Well", Spike was shown to be a comic book nerd, so there's probably a convention for all the other comic ner-....enthusiasts to gather and cosplay, which has been done, as already mentioned.

 

Would anyone be interested in an actual episode cementing conventions with more Mane 6 (and Spike) cosplaying, in Equestria? (likely Dash would go as Daring Do, and Twilight as Starswirl)

 

What kind of lesson could be learned  from such an episode?

It would be fun as a filler episode. You could draw parallels to giant conventions like comicon, and cover the smaller life issues that one would encounter in such a large, and often stressful social environment. I would watch it if it were a slice of life filler episode, who knows how many "panda-ring" background gags they could fit in.
