Shimmer got off easy, Luna went through the real punishment and learned her lesson.

I'm sorry but she didn't really learn her lesson ... she broke out because she couldn't handle waiting that long (admittedly a bratty move, as much as it hurts me to say) and then proceeded to cast Equestria into eternal darkness. She had to be rainbow-blasted in order to be converted back to her old self xD

I went to a family friend's christmas dinner today and this little girl was watching rainbow rocks and their parents mentioned the dolls and the kid said sunset shimmer, but they thought she had said "summer shimmer" and i was just sitting there like "i could correct them, but im not going to". i just thought it was funny that I completely understood what the girl and her parents were talking about, and nobody was the wiser.
