music Iggy Azalea is a "one trick pony"

After here monster hit "Fancy" Iggy Azalea was officially in the spotlight of mainstream media.

The problem is, that her other songs she made after that were dull and typical of any any other pop song.

One example is "Black Widow".

While I was critical about the lyrics in the song "Fancy", at least the song was catchy.

"Black Widow" didn't have really good lyrics nor was it catchy at all.

So that song sucked in my opinion.

 

If that song wasn't sucky enough just take a look at her next one, "Booty".

OH how I'm completely SICK of listening to ass in mainstream music.

Literally.

I mean how many songs have been out in the past couple years about booties and butts?

Too many in my opinion.

I mean what the FUCK was the producer thinking when he made this song?

 

So what are your thoughts?

I didn't care for her when she released "Fancy" and I don't care for her guests verses or her new material at all.

 

I knew from the start she wasn't going to blow up, because she wasn't really doing anything different. Just like any other artist, she got a really catchy single and now has to wait until she comes up with another catchy single that blows up.

 

I'll just listen to Nicki Minaj over Iggy to be honest.

Pop is dying slowly.

I can see it happening.

There is a genre of music that one day is going to take the spotlight completely and shove pop out of the picture.

I'm talking about EDM.

You know.

Dubstep, house, trance, and all that good stuff.

You can see it happening now.

Pop songs have EDM in them and it's starting to become a big thing.

Eventually pop will die and no one will even care.

Bleh, whatever. I don't care for her music. Though, okay, Fancy has become an earworm for me. I admit it.

She has decent flow, but her major issue is how same everything she does sounds. No real tonal or tempo difference from fancy to her appearances on other songs. She has the basics down pact, but lacks any real spark or pizazz to make it big.
